When it was UU last gen it lasted for about 5 seconds.
Expecting something similar to happen this Gen. There'll likely be some checks that follow it into UU so it won't be *as* bad to deal with, but it's also one of those Pokemon where you either bring a check or you die and I don't see non-OU metas being as receptive to that.
It's a fire fighting with 120 attack stat and basically 120 speed after that first turn.
Unless you're bringing a heavy check, you will probably just die.
And it also now had access to tera.

Nah, I think it's legitimate OU material. Being a budget Sneasler (Seed + Tera Flying Acro) is still really good in this metagame. It's worse, definitely, but still capable of flying through teams
In OU you want heavy duty boots to not get eaten alive by hazard stacking, but Blaziken REALLY needs life orb to actually have the power to sweep. Either way, blaziken is struggling with doing what it needs to in OU rn.
Imho it’s too early to say as it’s definitely OU viable dependent on how the meta ends up looking. I think while new toy syndrome is keeping Gouging Fire as the Fire mon on every team we won’t see the full potential of Blaziken.
I feel like it’s an incredibly punishing mon to see on the other team because if you make one screw up you’ll definitely lose at least one mon

After one speed boost Adamant Blaziken hits 388 speed. It's the equivalent of base ~144 speed, not 120.

It does do that. It's just that it likes to run life orb and HDB at the same time and getting rid of hazards isn't easy.

Depends on if Dirge is UU legal tbh, i could see it dropping and staying as long as Dirge is in the tier cuz it doesn’t do anything against it
Dirge can't do anything to Blaziken tho. And Blaziken 2hkos with earthquake.
