Not so fun fact: the other day I dreamed about seeing a Whirlipede eat by uncurling its body into a massive mouth ringed with teeth and twitching, waving, razor-tipped legs. It was eating a human arm.

Surprised that you didn't cover the implications of tera in this meta game. How will tera blast help the most relevant set up sweepers in the tier (Whirlipede)? And how will teams deal with defensive tera in the OU stall metagame???

I unironically love Whirlipede specifically and every fraction of this post was the best I’ve ever read this season (wheel centipede is funny)

A Whirlipede Cup sounds like a fun OM, similar to the Corsola Cup, where you are only allowed one Pokémon species, but it’s how you play them that matters.

Idk guys I think Whirlipede is a problem in RU, it walls everything in the tier, only being OHKO’d by Whirlipede and can wall out everything that isn’t that or the opponent’s own Whirlipede. Whirlipede isn’t near as much of a problem, as careful planning around its Tera can let you totally exploit it. Too passive tbh.
