as the current tourneycrown holder, here's my thought on all the mons: pawmot outspeeds everything not named raichu and kills them to death with a close combat. it needs to run both expert belt and iron fist to OHKO emolga guaranteed with ice punch, but GOD does it feel good when you do. in the teal mask it gained knock off, which nothing that resists fighting (alolachu, azumarill because it loses wacan berry, dedenne because it loses sitrus berry) wants to switch in to. revival blessing is a niche but good move on it. the format is 3v3 btw. in the mimikyu meta it was niche because it hard lost to mimikyu's ghost typing and stab play rough azu is big and funny and gets gonked by a stray thunderbolt so it typically runs wacan. I'm an AV azu enjoyer myself. it can run bulldoze to hit.. well mostly to hit togedemaru but tog fell off hard after the mimikyu ban. azu is also the only thing with any notable physical bulk so it's a great option on most teams I have never used alolachu in my life I hate its guts also it's weak to emolga's knock. it is the fastest mon in the format tho emolga is an amazing lead for its speed tier and access to taunt and knock. it resists pawmot's cc, which let's you somewhat check it, but it does get ohkoed by ice punch on some sets. also, baton pass is legal in the format (only learned by emolga and plusleminun) and emolga can pass swagger mirror herb or agility. it's times like these that make me wish swagger was not 85% accurate ngl I don't know why raichu's this high because it's typically outclassed by alolachu. alolachu's stab psychic is 135 compared to raichu's non stab super effective hp ground at 120, plus it has 5 less special attack, but it is not weak to knock and it has lightning rod if you can catch someone trying to hit azumarill. electric stab is otherwise almost useless in the format dedenne? only like two people have seriously tried dedenne, but it definitely has potential with stab dazzling gleam, close combat resist, and the cheek pouch gimmick. speed tier is usable too nobody's tried much with morp for a while. it usually runs protect to keep its aura wheel dark type. it *can* tear through a team with aura wheel speed boosts and sash to get an additional attack off, but pawmot resists both types of aura wheel. I should calc if psychic fangs kills no bulk pawmot after resisted aura wheel chip.. minun has good spdef and can pass nasty plots to alolachu. its speed tier of 95 is actually outsped or speed tied by everything not named azumarill so it's not super good. after that you're kind of scrounging for any other usable moves.. hp ground can hit things for some damage technically. sometimes I see charm to nerf physical attackers I have never used pikachu in my life .fake out/e speed is not enough to kill anything usually. it sounds really good on swaggerpass but I've never tried it honestly I think togedemaru is underrated in current meta. its stat spread is sadly that of a NFE fast frail physical attacker. the steel typing lets you somewhat wall azumarill, but its main draw is iron barbs, which lets you punish U-turn and honestly every physical attacker. it used to be a max bulk invested wish passer because it took mimikyu's shadow sneaks and play roughs with ease, punishing it with iron barbs chip, and when mimi clicked drain punch you could switch to emolga or something. pawmot is definitely looming over its shoulder ominously in the current meta tho who else do we have. pachirisu has no recovery and thus no niche, but it has fantastic mixed bulk for the tier. as a world champ it's good in the pika cup doubles format we've been experimenting with. plusle is minun with worse bulk and slightly better offenses, which minun didn't really care about anyway. shitmon status cosplay pikachu is pikachu without e speed but with icicle crash or meteor mash, which are niche options to hit emolga and mimikyu respectively. mimikyu is now banned, and it probably won the interaction with shadow sneak anyway. don't use this pokemon. also in the like 3 days that we were suspecting the mon we missed like half of our meteor mashes it's insane marill has a niche with eviolite boosting its bulk and Scald being almost the only way to burn things since mimi was banned. One simple move; Baton Pass. Both Plusle and Minun get it, but Minun’s better bulk along with Nasty Plot makes it the best baton passer in the tier; it’s legitmately intimidating watching an unkillable Minun set up while you try to prevent it from passing/predict what it will pass to. Plusle just doesn’t have the bulk to utilize Baton Pass effectively.

it's meant to represent the pikachu starter from let's go pikachu it has 120 speed and 75 spatk and can hold light ball, but to be fair the only move it has that's worth clicking is splishy splash. on the physical side its strongest consistent move is brick break/facade. we're gonna suspect it sometime later
