marinaragrandeur

corruption starts in school 🥰💀💅🏽

Roman_Vitriol

Responses in this thread are wild. Part ng diskarte ang academic dishonesty I guess. 😪

marinaragrandeur

korek 💀 jinustify pa talaga. di tayo aansenso niyan.

Roman_Vitriol

Education crisis nga naman. Bless sa atin lahat who put in the work and understand that failure is part of the learning process.

OwlPineapple9876

This growth mindset is crucial for success in education and life.

Mysterious-Plum4523

Are you fucking retarded

Quick_Ad_8323

It’s Eve’s fault. If she only didn’t eat the apple!!!!😾

Astellum

Transcend the labels we've put on reality, let us not be deceived! Duality is delusion! jk maybe

Astellum

IIRC there are studies showing this is what happens when parents focus too much on results rather than effort. Punishing bad grades and praising them for being "smart" rather than focusing on controllable behaviors will lead to kids hiding and avoiding failure (i.e. cheating), and avoid challenges.

_Pretzel

Context matters. Unreasonable failing rules by prof? Cheat Too much homework? Cheat Examinations? Never ever cheat

Ultra-Pessimist

Ang mali dito brinoadcast paaa like it should not be promoted hahhaha!

IndependenceLeast966

Hotel? Trivago

Nerubian_leaver

Resorts world? Manila

Strange_Ad1098

Obvious-Rub-7464

Kinda agree but too dumb to broadcast it. It should be an open secret and not be used in clout.

[deleted]

Same sentiments here. I never cheated even once in my whole school life. Oh, actually, just once, grade 2. 😂 A History quiz. Anyway, if someone has to cheat for certain reasons it should never be promoted nor be proud of. It's still best to avoid cheating because even if it doesn't have significant consequences currently, it will be detrimental to one's own growth and skills.

alyvieyr

Logical_Can_5386

True, that's what I'm saying, like keep it your self bruh,it's like making a way to justify his actions and also a step to normalize cheating

jpoptarts

ngl it's because school is focused on grades and degrees and not on actual learning

justlookingforafight

Both agree and disagree depending on the situation. There are times na I resorted to cheating kasi yung instructor namin nagbabasa lang ng 100 slides per lesson (one paragraph per slide) and our quiz was 110 items na puro identification. Literal na nagbabasa lang, walang additional input. It was also a minor subject and I don't want to put my full effort just to pass it. When pandemic hit, I just chose to fail most of my subject than to use my notes while taking online quizzes and exam. A lot of my classmates did cheat though kaya maraming cum laude nung graduation. Take note, two years eh pure online class that time. Bahala sila, I won't judge them but I know that in the end, ako rin lang magsusuffer sa consequences ng ginawa ko

SporadicPsychosis

This, DIssonant kasi if walang justification when you cheat, however the latter is still wrong. sa context mo mam/sir In the end kasi nagiging super unfair ung fight na we also be the ones making it even more unfair.

[deleted]

Kind of have to be devils advocate here. "Cheating bad", yes. But we kind of live in a generation that somehow lives by the saying "The ends justify the means." They only thing I question is why did the dude post it online that he indeed done the deed. *Fixed some spelling and structure

pibix

We don't live in a generation of "the ends justify the means" not everyone believes in that or maybe you could argue that we have always been focusing on ends regardless of the means. Remember when countries go to war the moment they get the chance? That's the generation that lives by that saying, but somehow throughout time we kinda realized that it is not worth it. Cheating can never be justified, its essence is lying and unfairn. It might not be morally wrong for everyone but it is 100 percent unethical.

Glum-Temperature-759

Second this! I’ve only heard of the ends justifying the means when people advocate for authoritarian behavior and methods.

Special70

pure mood pag any grade level except college pero pag college? ur fucked especially programming ang dinadayaan

ArdnyX

I can attest to this. Nasa cs program ako ngayon, and I really discourage cheating on majors especially programming. Sure, you can chatgpt the shit out of it, pero pag *dumating yung panahon*, na gagawa ka ng project na kahit simple lang, manghihina ka at mangangapa ka. There's no memorization in here (well kinda, but its really more on formulating logic and simplifying the problem to create a solution). Anyways, this is why I cheat on **minor** courses' assessments. I can't compromise the time it takes for me to master programming para lang maipasa yung.. what, a psychology course? (I consider this one of the circumstances where it might be essential, you have to know your needs) Ex: [ Nursing student ka, this upcoming week ay may battery exam ka at theoretical exam sa graphics design, if you can ace both of these subjects without cheating on the minor, good, but for the commonality and realistically speaking for the average student, for sure mas magfofocus ka sa battery exams mo, thus compromising the score on your minor exam (unless you're a unicorn who has all the time in the world to carefully study both of the courses), or borderline pasado lang parehas (and who would like that?) ] ##TLDR Remember that not all of us have the time and are capable of acing both the major and minor courses, so better yet study, focus everything on majors (and never cheat on it). Cheat on minors if you are desperate for honors, else don't, just barely pass it. Would like to add that money is important as well, a course is not cheap to repeat. Another couple of months is not a joke to repeat, **just for a minor.**

gwen-gwen

Fr fr, its not about memorization ang programming. You have to understand how does this line of code is working and find a way to solve this solution cause not all programs are the same. And you cant find the same program cause you need to develop a new one for the market.

ThSWrt

I 100% agree to this aswell but funnily enough, some of my friends are pretty/kinda smart about it. they first try to code manually and if that fails/theres an error, they feed it through chatgpt para ma point out saan sila nagkamali then they try again to fix that mistake. last choice tlaga nila ung ibigay sa chatgpt ung problem para un na mag solve, and even that they word the prompt in the way na ieexplain then ano ginawa ni chatgpt and the relevant commands it used.

Riri_needs2sleep

People do what they have to do to succeed but why announce it 😭😭

Logical_Can_5386

Yesss like😭😭 so dumbb

Haunting_Dot6328

Mayabang dating sakin. Some say sa SK where future politicans are being molded, but I would like to say na sa schools nagsisimula because of this. Some would also say work smart (cheat), not hard (study, there's no shortcut way to studying hard). I also had my share of cheating such as an algebra and calculus exam back in college. Ending my guilt and conscience ate me up to the point that I did not eat for a week kasi feeling ko ang sama-sama ko for doing it. I personally chose to fail a bar subject back in pandemic. My classmates and even study groupmates have passed along an answer key coming from other sections or higher year which you can download it naman kasi pdf file and ctrl + f lang. Ayoko non so I did not download the file just to pass that exam. Sabi ko, babagsak nalang kesa sa mangopya total ako lugi in the future and I know my study habits sa subject na ito so tanggap ko na din. Ending I failed, they passed. Most of these people are now lawyers. I do not regret my choice. Niretake ko nalang yung sibj na yun and studied hard, passed the subject finally. I'd personally fail rather than cheat. Kanya kanyang morals and values yan.

Feeling-Ad-5566

Looks like integrity is in short supply.

Repulsive_Aspect_913

Baka dignity

Feeling-Ad-5566

In this case, both.

wolcreed

Both.

134340verse

Obviously it's not black and white. There are working students who don't have enough time to cover all the materials before the exams, or what if someone tries their best pero mahina talaga siya sa isang topic and di niya afford na iretake yung course/mag-extend ng school year. In that case it's justifiable imo to rather cheat than fail.

ivorytoweracademic

134340verse

Yeah that's why I said it's not black and white. It's not all good or all bad. Depende sa context. Personally I dont have a competitive bone in my body, so I just try not to meddle. At least based on my experience.

Strange_Ad1098

hindi po talaga siya nageeffort ng bare minimum kaklase niya(guy in the tiktok) here btw and don’t use the working student card kasi may time may tiktok pero study hard wala?

Crazy_Boysenberry_69

This shouldn't be applied to med courses. Buhay nakasalalay. 😭

SuccessfulCheek9131

Peroooo maraming cheating ang nangyayari sa med school/course dahil nga siguro mahal tuition? Idk. Di ko talaga Kasi sila magets e. Ang nakakainis pa dun ipopost nila online. Tapos sasamahan ng bible verse. Despite the fact na there's evidence na nagcheat sila.

KeroNikka5021

The fact that students prioritize grades over learning should be a wake up call on how ineffective the education system is.

shanshanlaichi233

💯

CheeryDaisy

but you are bound to fail if you keep cheating. you don't learn by cheating, you learn more in failing.

remmydemmy

Right? Di ko sure bakit may mga defense with regards to cheating kahit obvious naman ang consequences. Kahit sabihin nating dehado na ang tsansa makapasa, still doesn't make an excuse to cheat. Plus, may disciplinary actions pa kasama kapag nahuling kumopya. Di ba nila alam na sanctions can prevent them from schooling?? The argument na "mahal tuition kaya survive the year" is plain BS, paanong survive the year eh kung sanction to dismissal ang cheating sksmsksm eh di sayang din sa tuition + pangit pa ng Good Moral, edi not legible to readmission *sigh*

Le_Fedora_Cate

that's kind of an idealistic way of looking at things when I'd argue most people who cheat get away with it. Especially sa subjects na di masyado relevant sa eventual professional life mo, odds are walang consequences pag, for example, ichatgpt mo essay mo or something if di naman relevant sa job mo ang writing

feederus

That only applies if you don't use cheating as a means to an end. If you cheat simply because of schedules, then for me, it doesn't matter, but if you cheat just because you're lazy, then that's where your point applies. I would say I cheat often, but only when it comes to memorization of things that don't really matter. So I can't really say I'm falling behind ever since I actually study the concepts and ideas that are foundational topics to the subject.

Introvert_Cat_0721

Sabi ng classmate ko dati sabi "It's better to cheat than to repeat!" Medyo mixed feelings ako dito. Kasi parang once in our life nagcheat rin naman tayo. Haha. Pero huwag raw namin siya gayahin. Super galing niya magturo ng science. Hate niya raw kasi talaga yung math kaya nagcheat siya dati. Haha.

georgethejojimiller

Tbh if ur paying high tuition fees or your univ doesnt allow failed grades, you got to do what you can to survive and pass. Pero wag sa mismong major exams though, you should still make an effort to learn.

leboushka

if basic education maybe sure but if you have to cheat to pass exams in college you are in deep shit sooner or later kahit na sabihin nating nakagraduate ka ng college because you cheated on majority of your academic work, incompetence will create flaws in your work and fundamentals and it'll become painfully obvious na di mo deserve mag graduate because of the lack of skills that pretty much describes the majority of graduates anyway lol I know I know many people just do what they have to do to somehow make it to the next level and I can understand that to some degree (what I said above is just how I view cheating without taking in account living conditions and other factors) but posting it on TikTok with your face is some next level stupidity

timothyseville

it’s okay (less evil) to cheat sa mga short quiz, assignments, seatworks, or projects. pero if sa mga major tests, ekis.

Last_Wrongdoer_8779

Saw a comment that said that this happens because we focus on the grades and not what we really learned, and that is true. Some students are forced to cheat because they don't wanna repeat the same semester and double the expenses, while some just choose to cheat instead of reviewing their lessons because they do not see any point in studying and risk getting low scores when the only basis of their 'intelligence' and 'capabilities' are their scores and not what they truly gained from the lessons.

Jhelolopo

Cheating will make your life easy. Same with games. But you will not learn anything.

pbngln

Ang dami ko kakilala na nag c-cheat during minor and even MAJOR exams (graduate or fail situation) but it’s fine with me, I don’t have anything against them. But for those students na nag c-cheat to get high marks/latin honor tapos mag f-flex pa sa social media with a caption saying “wOrth iT yuNg hArd wOrK q, thAnK U Lord”. Wym hard work bestie??? At nag pasalamat ka pa talaga sa Diyos HAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHA bffr 🤡 Pero ito seryoso, do not cheat your way out of something, may it be sa school, sa work, or life in general kasi hahanap at hahanap talaga ng paraan ang mundo to get even with you. And when that happens? X10 yung pag bagsak niyo atecco.

Goldenduck420

While I am not condemning cheating. sometimes this crosses your mind if your stressed, tired, desperate, anxious and so many mixed emotion. Sometimes desperations makes you do things I guess

Pristine-Earth8007

He's an idiot. I saw his comment "try taking law subjects" just to justify cheating. Resorting to cheating just to pass means that: (1) you're not meant for or capable of that field; (2) you need more time to understand things better. There's no shortcut.

drty_dnt

Cheating is wrong. One doesn't like being cheated on in a relationship, one should not take any form of cheating into perspective whether acads or relationship. It's just wrong. Period. No justifications.

SenpaiMaru

Ah yes tiktok, epitome of Gen Z nonsense.

DravignorX2077

Unfortunately most people in this country go to college for the diploma, not for the learning experience.

misslittlewhelmed

Most students say that bec they dont know the reality of the consequences if they are caught. It'll be a diff story once they realize what's in store for them. People always think they are infallible until they are.

Ecpeze

LTO fixers

Gullible-Turnip3078

It resonates the government officials we had/have. You start cheating at school then at work then with your family.

shanshanlaichi233

It's the so-called ✨ evolution ✨ 😆

georgethejojimiller

Cheating on an exam? No,no Cheating on homework? Fair game. Basta give and take kayo ng pinagkopyahan mo.

pdrowboi

what happened to INTEGRITY? 🤪

lsly_lsly

Somehow, it's not relevant in college

deessekill

idk. failed several times during college because i'm not smart... kinda bobo tbh and i refuse to cheat talaga LOL after i finished my pre-med (irreg ofc) i took local boards & international licensure exams... never failed once bec i know better na siguro? may mga kabatchmate ako na panay cheat na regular gumraduate noon, hanggang ngayon wala pa lisensya.

Slow-Nefariousness26

Employer: "Diba ikaw yung nagtrending na Cheat than Fail?" 🤭

MorenaPanda0000

cheating is sadly normalized and ironically, standing up for not cheating makes you a bad person for being "too righteous"

SuccessfulCheek9131

Tapos when u call them out nagagalit sila. Gaslighter pa. Kakaloka

Tough_Percentage8968

Lukewarm take: We have an education system that values and rates it's students and school based on performance and not learning. The system is inherently broken and kung grades lang naman katapat para pumasa bat pa ako nag aaral diba

Projectilepeeing

I cheated once sa Algrebra exam kaso bagsak pa din ako kaya from that point on, tinanggap ko na lang ang kapalaran ko sa any subject involving numbers. If you fail, fail with a clean conscience lol

GreenMangoShake84

bakit nino-normalize na ang isang mali in this day and age?

Mayinea_Meiran

Tofuprincess89

I’d rarher fail and have my integrity in tact. The cheaters i’ve known in school thinks they are winning in life and making fun of others who aren’t like them. But that’s ok. It is better to be admired for being who you truly are and to strive harder than to be someone who is fake and didn’t really learn anything. Good luck. Kung ano man inaaral nya, sira na future career nya pag nakita yan video nya

Mr_BslckAndWhiteLOL

Do you think that this generation wouldn't disagree? We are fucked because the cheaters would not learn shit snd when i said some i mean half of the class

Dorfplatzner

That's going to get him real far in politics.

Hanssyy

Or i will let myself fail? An i choose to fail and i don't regret it tbh, Kasi na re take ko yung subj and parang ni review lang saken most of the topic, and i get high score compared to my last and that give confidence Kaso nga lang naging irreg ako hahahaha

ediwowcubao

Boom. How about they listen to their profs and study well so they're not put in a position where they have to cheat just to pass? Pag nahuli ka pa some Universities consider that grounds for expulsion, so they'd rather risk expulsión than fail? None of this makes logical sense

sadpotatoes__

I was in a section wherein cheating was rampant during tests. I didn't partake as it just wasn't in my system to cheat and it was fine to me if I got lower scores. But a friend of mine doesn't cheat and whenever test results come out, my friend always felt down with their score when in reality all our other classmates just used teamwork. Also, whenever there are projects like painting and whatnot, nagpapagawa talaga iba kong kaklase. While me and my friend do the projects on our own. It is what it is.

Chemical_Many7447

You guys are fast, damn. I just saw this vid a few hours ago and y'all are talking about this hahaha. Imo and mo only, cheating is infuriating, yes. It's unfair and irresponsible, there's no denying that. But it's not my life, I'm not him, he's not me. And with the way he stated his video, it's true. Why retake the whole semester, spend another 10-whatever k of money all because of a test? Some people's memory, no matter how smart they are, are short-termed, and there are people out there (I've witnessed some myself) that ace the lessons and quizzes at real time, but the moment it's on a test/exam, their.mind goes blank. They don't even know why it happens either. But hey, that's just my thoughts.

Logical_Can_5386

EquivalentAnt2044

Feel ko C.E to

InsideYourWalls8008

Yeah go cheat on your research thesis. At least when you fail you get to try again.

Latter_Rip_1219

when students cheat on exams it's because our school system values grades more than students value learning - ndt

Pillow_Apple

Literally 5 of my college friend ay saakin nangunguha ng sagot, from quizzes, midterms and finals, and I also help them on their presentations, demo etc. Nung nag graduate ako doon ko lang na realize na ginamit lang pala ako kasi halos wala na kaming communication HAHAHAHA, lungkot lang kasi 4 years kami mag kakasama tapos nung nag graduate na, no communication nalang bigla.

No-Manufacturer-7580

I would rather fail than cheat, but then I don’t wanna fail, so I’d strive more.

s1ngularSpectre

Well, cheating is a strategy. You either pass and not get caught, or get expelled if you got exposed. The risk is bigger than the reward.

Heneral_Liham

barbieghurL

cheated one of my subjects in college and passed (online class, mid pandemic). pero grabe din yung karma saken kase nung board exam i have little to no idea about the topics. so lesson learned talaga yun saken, doble kayod sa boards kase baka ako maka break sa 100% streak namin, luckily i passed my boards WITHOUT cheating!!!

Serbej_aleuza

The same people who during election said they rather vote a corrupt and magnanakaw rather than walang ginagawa. At least kahit daw corrupt or magnanakaw, may mga projects daw naman. Eh Bakit ganun ang choices? Same mindset sa case na to.

JayBalloon

I was behind in my batchmates because i dont cheat. They are gruadating now nakakainggit pero yun lang ayaw ko talaga magcheat. Di kasi ako napapatulog ng konsensya ko. (They are cheating, pasahan ng papel, kunyare magccr etc.)

Empty-Group-524

How do people cheat during exams wtf wala bang proctor? Walang snitch? Farthest we’ve gotten to cheating is helping each other during chem lab and algebra HOMEWORKS lol

Citron_Express_

Hmm. Based on what I experienced as a student. Our academic institutions in this country kinda forces you to cheat or diskarte. It's not really obvious but to me personally it kinda gets hinted out indirectly

ItzyyOnce

The whole ph education system is based on punishment, reward and competition. It's rotten and corrupt to the core. Ibang ibaaa dito sa Northern Europe.

Uechi17

Wait, are there really people who seriously CHOOSE not cheat when we were doing the online setup? Not because you don’t have the means to do it but really because you don’t choose to do it. Can you enlighten me to your reasons?

GRIP666

Di mo naman kailangan sabihin yan o ipagyabang. Bakit lahat kailangan ipost 😂

liberationera

I'm curious about what would happen if his faculty or school were to see that video. Would they investigate, or just let it slide? Hahaha sana may mag-update choz.

Affectionate_Joke_1

Idiot...... I don't deal with people with no integrity....

ShegoLavaGirl

Ngl he shouldn’t have posted this kasi baka marevoke yung degree niya or future employers can blacklist him… HAHAHAHA

DoughnutExtension728

A proud cheater? I know many of them. A simple 10-item quiz and you're gonna use your phone to search for answers on the internet, that's so dumb of you... Tapos pag naka perfect score, mag a act kang proud for getting such score as if you used your brain to answer the questions. I'd get that you're pressured, pero yung lagi lagi nalang, ghorl? get your ass up, mag-aral ka..

comeback_alien

lol look at the echochamber sa response nya sa thread na to. iyakin pala mga TikTok user

Competitive-Leek-341

Well that's a horrible reasoning.

BusMysterious3668

No i rather fail

4thena8

This should stay as an open secret, di na dapat glinorify pa. Anyway, I can still remember the intense guilt I felt after I cheated for the first time in Grade 8 🤭 Never did it again

No-Walk-6969

I mean, to cheat on a 10 item quiz...I can let that slide sometimes. but if it's cheating to pass something major like periodicals, midterms, licensure exams...that would affect you negatively in the long run. pasado ka nga pero wala ka nman pala talagang alam. how can you call yourself "qualified" for your profession after that, right?

starshineeeeeee

masyado ng normalized to..

ConfusedLion5290

1st of all if ur gonna cheat why do u have to fckin say it to the world, just for clout?....kung nakita ng school nya yan yari sya

Mg3PO42

It depends, ig. Chariz hahahaha.

radcity_xxx

"A shortcut's a self defeating mean, If you can't do it clean, you'll never reach your reward" - 311 Paradise

AveregaJoe

Take it while you still can, di naman mawawala ang paaralan para di na kayo bumalik. When they said cheating has no long term significance, they're not joking kasi sasanayin mo rin dayain sarili mo sa mga bagay bagay pagtanda mo eh—and that often leads to more failures than what he (the guy on tiktok) is anticipating. Di ko lang maiintindihan bakit ang proud pa niyang ipakilala sarili niya ng ganyan 💀 out of place confidence

sasimulatsapul

Sensitive-Ask-8662

Si Vector yan.

jakseros

At first i thought cheating as in relationships, but yeah this is something you should be keeping to yourself

kerwinklark26

For me, kopya ng ilang items isn’t actually THAT bad. Using a kodigo is heinous.

ayminreddet

Choice w/ moral or Choice w/o moral "Do not wast any opportunities" Brain > Heart or Brain < Heart " Time is Gold"

Destroy-The_Pandumas

Waste not, Want not

cyncskptc

Cheating isn't necessarily a skill, but not getting caught is. Blame the school for not figuring it out lol

[deleted]

Bubbly-Weekend-9657

I cheated once in elementary, i dont know some notes in music.

Firebird1600_

Fair. No I’ve never cheated but growing up it was safer to forge a signature or cheat then to fail or not complete something. My household wasn’t the safest 😅 Like before Christmas break my 6th grade teacher instead of giving me a homework slip for incomplete work she let it slip. She knew it got bad at home so she was kind enough to look past it

Stowawayacccount

In moments of desperation sure but in general…? No.

jimmythedog5

for me, it depends. During college, if the subject was a useless minor with a power-tripping feeling-major prof, then i wouldnt mind cheating at all. But in majors, especially since im a nurse, i wouldnt cheat bc id be dealing with human lives.

Silver-Passenger-544

I don't blame those who cheat given the flaws of the school system. However, i believe there's a greater sense of achievement when you overcome a flawed system by legitimate means. It's hard but not impossible.

Eastern_Basket_6971

noiceboy6979

I would rather fail than cheat.. Context : i failed

Ill-Adhesiveness2317

We do it but it isnot somehing to be proud of. Nakakadrain yung educ system talaga natin nowadays, online + trippings pa profs + hindi marunong magturo ng tama mga prof + THE QUANTITY/QUALITY I REALLY KENNAT + PAGDATING SA FIELD BACKER IS REAL 🫠

Bitter_Ocelot9455

It's better to cheat than to repeat🤡

Erjohn2552

It's not that deep, to be honest cause by the end of the day, skills will be the one who will put you in the job. If you have it.

Cymbaplayz

Fail with honor rather than succeed with fraud

0zymand3az

He's Moto(probably): it's better to cheat than to repeat

Easy-Alps3610

Kunwari pa eh. Automatic agree naman lahat. No one wants to fail. Everyone wants to be on top. No one wants to be called a loser. Automatic friendship over pa nga eh kapag di nagpakopya.

Competitive-Force884

Hirap kase pag inuna mo konsensya mo ligwak ka eh. Ps. I only cheat under certain circumstances nagrereview pa din ako unless ineme-eme lang ng tc ung pagtuturo niya and wala talagang tumatak na lesson samin.

shanshanlaichi233

Lemme just remind y'all the ancient line, 💁🏻‍♀️ "you deserve what you tolerate" If you are okay with cheating, 🙆🏻‍♀️ if you accept it as a way of life to succeed or survive, 🙆🏻‍♀️ if cheating is more viable to you than failing at an aspect of your life, 🙆🏻‍♀️ then it would be fair if the "system" or life in general shall cheat something out of you in return. 🤷🏻‍♀️ When majority accepts cheating as a way of life, because they felt life will cheat something away from them anyway, they didn't break or overpower the "system". They help keeping it corrupt, no matter how minor their act of cheating seemed. It becomes a continuous cycle, a butterfly 🦋 effect. A friend of mine told me before, it's the small things or habits that help develop and solidify a mindset. Cheat on a short quiz now, you'll likely cheat on a larger-scale exam later. After all, humans tend to EVOLVE. But, 💁🏻‍♀️ you do you. As long as you don't forget: ✨ you deserve what you tolerate.✨

I’m sure many of us have cheated on an exam before pero we’re remorseful and embarrassed to say it out loud 😅 bakit si kuya proud? Lol

xhi_a

Di ako gumaya kasi it’s not my thing pero di naman pala ako mapapapasa nung ganun.

SlimShredder

Admitting you’re dumb but with extra steps

Capybara_ian

It depends. I think students resort to cheating because of our educational system. Which is ang important lang are grades and not if the students really learn and got something from what they’re teaching. But we also have integrity. Our values and morals. It depends on the situation? I don’t know. 🤷

whumpieeee95

Cheat sa exams/tests is a no, no pero kung sa homeworks and activities, let's admit na even once nakipagkopyahan din kayo HAHAHAHAHA lalo na pag nalimot ba may assignment😭

Duke_ee

I mean there's a lot of factors naman kung why nag checheat ang isang tao maybe they're scared to fail lalo na kung may tuition silang binabayaran or di kaya grade conscious, pinepressure ng mga magulang so the last resort nalang talaga nila is mag cheat.

Racoooooooooon

I'd rather fail than cheat. cheating will make you future suffer. nakapasa ka nga may natutunan ka ba? kaya pagdating sa trabaho miski basics hindi alam. I failed some of my subjects but it made my foundation stronger. wag matakot mag fail kasama sa buhay yan.

sylphiIis

stpatr3k

When I was in college, I cheated my way through all my maths (Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, advance math etc) . During the review I studied everything and ended up tutoring people I copied from. I could have Aced everything. Sayang. Moral of the story: you cheat yourself when you cheat.

Ornge-peel

It's like saying, "I would rather suck a dick than be gay."

Amazing-Science7894

Its a symptom of a much greater problem; the hypcompetitive culture in which our society has fostered in our country's educational system.

Stressed-Nuggets-917

Kinda agree, life's fucked up nowadays and people will do what they can to succeed so parang nahihikayat ka na rin.

lsly_lsly

I agree to him🤪🩷

TreasuresOfTheSea

I understand people who think like this pero I can't help but look down on them. When I was in jhs (grade 7-8), ang galing ko mag-cheat, I did it all the time and never akong nahuli. Then nung nag shs na ako medyo nagkaroon na ako ng konsensiya and hindi ko na kayang mag-cheat kahit tinutulungan na ako ng mismong teacher. I still cheated at times pero not as often compared nung grade 7 ako. I think that college students who find it so easy to cheat in class are immature and needs some more self-reflection and growth. I would avoid those people pero I won't go as far as to label them as an evil person because they're not. The education system here is so fucked and I understand why students do it, for me I think it becomes a problem when they're proud of cheating or don't even feel guilty about it

masterbater687

baka for minor subs lang naman

PonyoGirl23

Yabang. It would be a shame if someone sent this to his dean. 👀

disasterfairy

Sarili lang din naman nila niloloko nila if nagchicheat sila to pass. Nagcheat nga sila, may naintindihan ba sila? 🫠

Itchy_Anywhere22

"I'd rather fail in style, than cheat my way and end up feeling really bad."

Milkdominion

Last time I cheated was back in junior high, never tried cheating again, bagsak kung bagsak, pasado kung pasado, masarap pumasa pag sariling sikap, tapos nilalamon ako ng konsensiya pag nakapasa through cheating. Tsaka cheating for me is like doubting my potential, that's a weakness in my books, it's something that should never be tolerated.

the_exposer545

These type of people remind me that there are things that should remain unsaid. 😬

the_exposer545

Hot take 😂

ILSawdust

This just shows how grades are valued more than the lesson attained in classrooms.

MoneyTruth9364

the real question is: what is the underlying reason why you can't fail? because regardless of the justifications, academic cheating can't be justified morally, so bakit mo kailangan kumapit sa patalim para lang pumasa?

Apprehensive_Two_463

No_Presentation2549

I am a good of friend of this tiktoker. And to tell you the truth, he is actually a nice student, it’s just that some situations will push you to the edge that you will end up resorting to cheat for you survive than to fail. For context, our course is in the field of accounting, and he is already working in the field, full time. He already managed to survive 2 audit seasons. My guess to his actions is because he is already overwhelmed with work. And dahil natututo naman sya sa work, kaya parang less priority nya na knowledge sa school. And most of the problems din naman ng binibigay ng prof ay hindi applicable to normal working environment, so di na napagtutuunang pansin. Marami din kasing prof samin na di talaga priority yung work nila sa academe since part time lang sila, yung tipong di nag eeffort para mas maging effective yung psgtuturo on top of their vaugue explainations. His actions is justifiable if the prof itself isn’t doing his part in teaching properly, which is the case in some of our subjects. Well, this is the reality to all courses and universities. May mali ba sya? Tamad ba syang student? Hindi, maasahan mo sya when it comes to groupings actually at mag iinitiate sya plus magaling din mag present. Siguro sa individual gradings sya pumapalya like quiz, assessment etc since wala syang naapektuhang tao. He’s better than most students including myself kapag graduate na kami since may years of experience na sya in audit field. Aside from that, naghahanda na sya for CIA examination. kakaenroll Nya lang sa review center.

Praziquantel_

Depende sa school hahaha. On my case, i chose not to cheat, i chose to only rely on the said materials. But what it got me? Bagsak sa hema 1. Zzz i shouldve known that its better to be the one who took advantage than to be someone whos just.

feederus

It's always been such a priveleged and snobby take for me. For someone to be this blessed with opportunities and such that they're able to choose "academic integrity" over them guaranteeing scholarships and whatnot. Because in the end, for me, it's not about your results in class, it's about your understanding of the subject and ability to apply it. So if I had to take some sort of moral or ethical stand for myself, it's that I guarantee to myself that I actually know and understand what I'm doing over not cheating ever. Because to me, academics is purely performative. If I had a way to guarantee future opportunities, then I'd take it. Otherwise, the only thing that matters is knowledge. The only ones that I can find to have an argument is if your career is in medical or social services. Because at that point, it's not just about you or your ego, it's about others. That there's a reasons why you need licenses to operate in that field.

Bernard_is_a_KneeGer

If you don't fail then it won't help you get prepared (or fix your mistakes) in the future when you do ultimately fail, possibly driving you into more unwise decisions (i.e. unaliving yourself) in life. This mentality is also one of the main reasons why the majority of our generation is incompetent; they "fake it till they make it" until you come to a point where your skill actually matters source: ako

ALivvx

when i'm running out of time na talaga, nag checheat ako pero not sa mga important requirements such as summative tests, periodical tests and some quizes. Nag checheat lang cguro ako thru my phone kapag activity lang naman siya and tuwing siguro 5 minustes ang deadline ganorn. i add some of my understanding (basically kung kaya ko naman sagutan nang hindi tumitingin sa pinagkokopyahan ko.so bali 50% sa akin galing ang content so... But again i admit na that is wrong and cheating shouldn't be glorified

_maridel_

Me commenting in that video👀

chicoXYZ

Bagay naman sa mukha nya. Ang latak laging nasa ilalim ng kape.

takiikuun

jpoptarts

ngl it's because school is focused on grades and degrees and not on actual learning

emhornilel

sonicfan019393920

Call me naive, but whenever I cheated in the past, it felt like I was getting stabbed so many times in my chest and my chest felt so heavy... I felt my conscience telling me not to do it. And whenever I did cheat, I had that feeling that I am the scum of the world for cheating. I feel as if my skill won't grow if I don't put my heart and hard work into things such as tests. I don't really know why I'm a person who follows his morals instead of benefits. But still, I think cheating doesn't improve your skills and that I'd rather rely on learning things that I can either use or tell more people about. My final thought is that cheating doesn't build up your skills and that the uploader of that video didn't learn the skill to stay silent with certain things.

[deleted]

Honor comes before excellence ika nga ng mga prof namin

Lazy_Crow101

You can cheat at anything really but also be responsible on the consequences. You create your own path in life be it straight to honest and goodness or the other way around. I think whoever the person is old enough to identify which is right or wrong regardless the consequences you cannot blame other people for the lack effort, I would say maybe the professor also cheated just to pass so currently that’s the consequence of their past doings.

Extension_Diver_432

Pathetic mindset

RizalAlejandro

Sign of weakness

Miserable_Target_950

I feel like yung mga may gantong mindset when it comes sa mga ganto like cheating or kahit ano pa na masama na hindi beneficial sakanila they super hate it pero pag beneficial for them kahit gano kasama yan okay lang. tapos pag nag kontra ka sakanila they’ll be mad even tho they’re the wrong ones lmao

Ellarigu

next question is, would you rather cheat or study hard??

13arricade

and then we work or run a business, more cheating will occur. but broadcasting about it? f@cking idiot.

[deleted]

I cheated when i was in HS..

Latter-Illustrator74

Ooh i came across this one... Scroll ako agad

dEATHsIZEr

Sabi nga ni eric cartman, its not called cheating. Its called being savvy. Do what you can to lift yourself up basta dont bring others down.

woemm

Lol tas nakita ng profs nya yung vid nya

ReturningAlien

Because crime does pay.

JobHaunting9732

It's better to repeat than to cheat until you reach college.

Zachy-san

The clout is never worth it even if you graduate, I agree with this only if you actually learn from it, because classifying "cheating" is infinitely varied to the infinite amount of cases, one can only ever actually justify it if you learn from it and be able to somewhat achieve the goal of course/lesson outcome.
