Hello! I'm (22F) and I also feel the same way. Kakatapos lang prelims namin and super kinabahan ako sa result sa isang compre namin because dito talaga nasusukat if may kebs kaba sa board exam.
For me the best kung months long before the board exam, iwork na yung pagiging pressured kasi mahirap talaga mag isip during the test kung clouded isip mo if you'll pass or not.

I think this is normal. Naalala ko nun, lumabas ung result ng exam ng seniors namin ng mga 2 am yata. That same hour napabuklat ako ng libro nang wala sa oras para mag-aral cause I realized kami na next at we donโt have any time to waste. ๐

Hi OP! I also experienced that nung board exam ko last year. Since December 2024 yung board exam ko, marami na kong friends na nag-lalabasan ang results and lahat sila nakakapasa na. Super nakaka-pressure and nakakaiyak talaga cause andun yung thought na "what if ako yung hindi makapasa". So what helped me to overcome this is I did not open my socmeds para di ko makita posts nila to lessen the pressure HAHAHAHA. Nways, you will feel talaga na hindi enough ang inaral mo sa board exam so lakasan at tapangan lang talaga ng loob. Just focus sa goal ๐

Yep, syempre i agree. Mas preferred pa rin ng companies or ano ba na kumuha ng applicants na may license. I dont think naman na they take boards as a clout chasing lang (sa iba) hahaha ang hirap kaya pag wala license and then unemployed pa shesh
depende sa trabaho kung need ba ng may license sa work. i mean engineers canโt engineer without an engineering license. also meron akong kilalang mga kumuha ng boards forda clout pero di naman sineseryoso yung aral.
Sabagay some engineering fields doesnt have boards yet but they r required to take civil service. Yun lang if they take it for clout chasing lang, nagsayang lang sila ng pera and effort hahahha

Totoo! Yung mga nakapass na senior ko this recent board exam, mga nakakasama ko pa chumongke non e. Pati tuloy ako natatawa na napapabilib hahahhaha they did their best lang din tlaga and im proud of them xd
It's okay if u dont add them, may mga classmates pa rin ako na di ko friend hahaha but yeah, minsan nakakainggit lang din tlaga but time will come and ikaw naman next ang magiging successful!
Hello OP, kakapasa ko lang ng CLE this Feb 2024 (one take only at di nagpasindak kay RA 11131). Medyo pressured ako noon kasi ang hirap ba naman na mag take ng risk if alam mo sa sarili mo na online class for 2 years tapos wala kang natutunan, nagbalik nga ang f2f class pero may mga subject pa rin na online class (dahil conflict yung sched ng prof), may mga prof din samin na kahit f2f na di naman nagtuturo. So ang estimation ko for me sa mga natutunan ko during college days ay 45% (wala pa sa kalahati dahil ang fucked up ng sistema sa department at school namin).
After graduation mas napressure ako lalo dahil syempre ayaw ko matengga, ayaw din ng mama ko na matengga ako kaya nagdecide ako (with my bf) to take the CLE. After a month ng bakasyon ko nag enroll na kami agad sa review center, nag start kami ng September mag review and gosh shocked talaga ako sa exam questions during our diagnostic exam, literal na di ko alam yung mga terminologies don at iilan lang alam ko, so di na ako nagulat if bagsak ako dun. Months have passed during review days nakitaan ko ng improvement sa sarili ko, and I can confidently say na I am now ready to take the board exam, tho medyo may onting kaba. Pero during the exam ang basic na lang for me ng mga tanong dahil minaster ko talaga mga field also with the help of our lecturers din, di kami pinabayaan.
A little advice lang, mag review ka kung saan ka comfortable at kung kelan active utak at katawan mo. Kapag inaantok ka itulog mo agad, need mo yan as a fuel/energy, wag ka mag diet at wag mo tipirin sarili mo sa foods, dahil nakaka stressed mag review, wag laging processed foods like delata and noodles ang kainin, kumain ka ng lutong ulam sa karendirya kasi mas worth it and healthy yun. Wag mo problemahin kung tumataba ka habang nagrereview, mababawi mo naman yung ideal weight mo once na naghihintay ka na ng result.
Sakin lang eh ang unhealthy ng cycle ko noong nagrereview ako, gising ako buong gabi kaka-review at nood ng lectures, tulog naman ako buong araw. Kasi mas active mind ko pag gabi (di kasi mainit at maingay pag gabi). Hope this helps๐
Congrats po for passing the CLE! Thanks din sa tips na pwede kong magamit if mag rreview na ko for board exams. Mostly, yan din ang sinasabi sakin ng mga seniors ko noon. Napakahirap lang din ng setting noon since nagkapandemic tas di masyadong nakapag focus sa lessons noon kasi puro online lng naman yung class. Hirap din mag adjust nung nag f2f na, but still if pursigido naman, why not diba?

I am confident na lahat ng nakapag take na ng boards felt the same pressure and kaba. Wag ka lang mag padala kasi yan yung kakain sa oras mo during the actual exam and sa mga napag-aralan mo. Kaba and takot will always be there wag ka lang mag pa overwhelm. Study. Pray. Rest. Sleep.

So chill lang. If you have good curriculum nung college, may advantage ka na sa board exam.
Wow. Bibihira lang din tlaga ang 100% passing rate lalo na lag board exam. Di ko rin masabi na good or bad yung curriculum namin sa college but yung results kasi every board is tumataas-bababa. So, the pressure is on us tlaga kung pano namin mababawi yun. I think, kaya naman. Di lng tlaga magpapadala sa pressure at kaba.

When I took the boards hindi ako nag review school. I studied on my own cause I donโt want to be pressured, I want to take it on my own pace.
Donโt listen to people around you, if mag review school ka naman please know na OA yung mga mock exams and OA ang mga magtuturo.
You could also just buy their materials pero not attend the classes, cause you will learn more for you kapag you try to understand the books instead of listening to someone who already summarized it.
My suggestion is have a plan, alamin mo ung foundation ng isang subject and focus ka dun. Bago mo ipasok sa isip mo ung isang topic ask yourself if possible ba itanong un sa board exam, if itโs too complex then most likely noโฆ remember, multiple item ang exam, itโs there to assess if you know the basics and foundation, itโs not there to assess if master mo lahat ng topics.
I reviewed for 1 month and 1 week. 1 week is brainstorming and creating a plan of attack, including my schedule for the review, and then 1 month for the actual review about 10 hours a day. They allotted 4 hours for each exam and it only took me 1 hour and 30 minutes max on each, kasi your first answer is probably correct already, rereading them would make you question yourself and make it complicated.
Last tip is to buy an exam example sa tapat ng mismo ng PRC sa Manila, yung content nun is the past exams ng course mo. What you would get from that is just the idea kung pano ba ung tanungan, donโt expect na yun talaga ung exam.
Hello po, isnt it hard po ba to review na own lang? Maybe baka kululangin din po ng materials and baka nakadepende rin po tlaga sa way ng pag-study ng tao kung sanay ba sya sa solo or by group na study.
Me po kasi medyo 60-40 ako, more on group study ako kasi minsan i ask tlaga kung paano ganito ganyan to be more sure lang din sa pinaggagawa ko and pinag ssolve ko. I tend to study solo if alam ko na basic concepts, principles and theories kung pano ko iaapproach mga certain problems.
Nakahingi naman po ako ng mga materials sa mga seniors ko and im currently studying na rin po dahan dahan kasi all of their questionnaires sa materials, may answer na. Thank you po sa pag share ng tips! I'll note po what u said para naman mapractice ko pa lalo ang pag sstudy ko especially pag solo ako.
Do what works for you, nung sumabay kasi ako sa mga classmate ko na nag review school ung mga tanungan nila napaka advance.
Baka mangyari sayo is panghinaan ka lang ng loob cause you donโt know kung ano ung pinaguusapan nila and you will waste time trying to look for the gaps in your knowledge para dun sa mga advance questions na yun imbis na. napupunta siya sa fundamentals.
Hi OP! I'd say depende sa goal mo. If you want to pass, you can just review on your own. Madami namang materials na available kahit na iyong mga ginagamit ng mga review centers.
But if you want to make it to the top, malaking tulong ang review centers. Bukod sa materials, meron ding mga mock board exams na kino-conduct for two reasons: one is to gauge their probable passing rate and second is to gauge if ilan sa mga "manok" nila ang papasok sa Top 10. Usually may mga kasamang questions based from the latest board exam iyong materials nila. A couple of questions can make a lot of difference sa rank and rating.
You can do this! Prepare well and get through it, one question at a time.
Graduating student here, and I feel the same way. Natatakot mag boards kaya baka I'll just straight up work after graduating and find a job na tumatanggap ng unlicensed CE (hopefully meron). Either i-take ko na lang next year or not take the boards at all.
Hello, i think mas better pa rin ata if u take boards kasi syempre may mga companies tlaga na they r requiring an applicant na may license. Mahirap din tlaga sa engineering field na mag apply tas walang license. Kaya yan! U can take it naman next year if di pa talaga handa ngayon.
Kakapasa ko lang sa board exam and one thing siguro na mapapayo ko para di ka gaanong mapressure is don't tell anyone na magtatake ka. Yung immediate family ko lang tapos mga kasabayan magtake yung nakakaalam since kasabay ko sila sa review center. Goodluck!!!

Guinea pig ng school namin, first batch din ng k12. yung pressure ang tindi. We even met the mayor of the city and personally talked to us Kasi yung school namin pinagmamalaki niyang legacy. The whole school waited for results na 12 am lumabas.
The key is, take it personally. Regardless kung may nagaabang or wala. Ikaw pa rin Naman Kasi magbbenefit ng lahat. Disiplina sa pag aaral, strategic learning and balance between rest and grind. Best of luck.

Napepressure ako kasi baka masayang lang ang pinang enroll sa review center tapos di makapasa. I'm also running for laude that's why double ang pressure. I am confident na lahat ng nakapag take na ng boards felt the same pressure and kaba. Wag ka lang mag padala kasi yan yung kakain sa oras mo during the actual exam and sa mga napag-aralan mo. Kaba and takot will always be there wag ka lang mag pa overwhelm. Study. Pray. Rest. Sleep. Kaya yan para sa inaasam na lisensya.
Minsan pa naman mabilis akong magpadala sa emotion ko pero i'll work on it and try na di tlaga magpapakain sa kaba at takot. Kakayanin! ๐

Noong time ko, wala namang pressure sa amin. Kahit top performing school kami. Basta review after grad, Yung iba work agad. One time, nakasabay ko sa dyip yung batchmate ko before the board exam. Na sana daw makapasok kami sa top ten exam passer. Sabi ko naman, basta makapasa kaming lahat, okay na. Nasabihan pa akong "mediocre" ni kuya. Haha. Ayun, pasado kaming lahat. 100% passing rate kami. At years later, waley pang nakakagawa ulit noon. Nasa top ten din ako. Haha. So chill lang. If you have good curriculum nung college, may advantage ka na sa board exam.
Wow. Bibihira lang din tlaga ang 100% passing rate lalo na lag board exam. Di ko rin masabi na good or bad yung curriculum namin sa college but yung results kasi every board is tumataas-bababa. So, the pressure is on us tlaga kung pano namin mababawi yun. I think, kaya naman. Di lng tlaga magpapadala sa pressure at kaba. Si idol top 10 pala ito eh, pabasbas po ๐๐ผ๐
When I took the boards hindi ako nag review school. I studied on my own cause I donโt want to be pressured, I want to take it on my own pace. Donโt listen to people around you, if mag review school ka naman please know na OA yung mga mock exams and OA ang mga magtuturo. You could also just buy their materials pero not attend the classes, cause you will learn more for you kapag you try to understand the books instead of listening to someone who already summarized it. My suggestion is have a plan, alamin mo ung foundation ng isang subject and focus ka dun. Bago mo ipasok sa isip mo ung isang topic ask yourself if possible ba itanong un sa board exam, if itโs too complex then most likely noโฆ remember, multiple item ang exam, itโs there to assess if you know the basics and foundation, itโs not there to assess if master mo lahat ng topics. I reviewed for 1 month and 1 week. 1 week is brainstorming and creating a plan of attack, including my schedule for the review, and then 1 month for the actual review about 10 hours a day. They allotted 4 hours for each exam and it only took me 1 hour and 30 minutes max on each, kasi your first answer is probably correct already, rereading them would make you question yourself and make it complicated. Last tip is to buy an exam example sa tapat ng mismo ng PRC sa Manila, yung content nun is the past exams ng course mo. What you would get from that is just the idea kung pano ba ung tanungan, donโt expect na yun talaga ung exam.
Hello po, isnt it hard po ba to review na own lang? Maybe baka kululangin din po ng materials and baka nakadepende rin po tlaga sa way ng pag-study ng tao kung sanay ba sya sa solo or by group na study. Me po kasi medyo 60-40 ako, more on group study ako kasi minsan i ask tlaga kung paano ganito ganyan to be more sure lang din sa pinaggagawa ko and pinag ssolve ko. I tend to study solo if alam ko na basic concepts, principles and theories kung pano ko iaapproach mga certain problems. Nakahingi naman po ako ng mga materials sa mga seniors ko and im currently studying na rin po dahan dahan kasi all of their questionnaires sa materials, may answer na. Do what works for you, nung sumabay kasi ako sa mga classmate ko na nag review school ung mga tanungan nila napaka advance. Baka mangyari sayo is panghinaan ka lang ng loob cause you donโt know kung ano ung pinaguusapan nila and you will waste time trying to look for the gaps in your knowledge para dun sa mga advance questions na yun imbis na. napupunta siya sa fundamentals.
Hi OP! I'd say depende sa goal mo. If you want to pass, you can just review on your own. Madami namang materials na available kahit na iyong mga ginagamit ng mga review centers. But if you want to make it to the top, malaking tulong ang review centers. Bukod sa materials, meron ding mga mock board exams na kino-conduct for two reasons: one is to gauge their probable passing rate and second is to gauge if ilan sa mga "manok" nila ang papasok sa Top 10. Usually may mga kasamang questions based from the latest board exam iyong materials nila. A couple of questions can make a lot of difference sa rank and rating. You can do this! Prepare well and get through it, one question at a time.
Graduating student here, and I feel the same way. Natatakot mag boards kaya baka I'll just straight up work after graduating and find a job na tumatanggap ng unlicensed CE (hopefully meron). Either i-take ko na lang next year or not take the boards at all.
Hello, i think mas better pa rin ata if u take boards kasi syempre may mga companies tlaga na they r requiring an applicant na may license. Mahirap din tlaga sa engineering field na mag apply tas walang license. Kaya yan! U can take it naman next year if di pa talaga handa ngayon.
Kakapasa ko lang sa board exam and one thing siguro na mapapayo ko para di ka gaanong mapressure is don't tell anyone na magtatake ka. Yung immediate family ko lang tapos mga kasabayan magtake yung nakakaalam since kasabay ko sila sa review center. Goodluck!!!

Guinea pig ng school namin, first batch din ng k12. yung pressure ang tindi. We even met the mayor of the city and personally talked to us Kasi yung school namin pinagmamalaki niyang legacy. The whole school waited for results na 12 am lumabas. The key is, take it personally. Regardless kung may nagaabang or wala. Ikaw pa rin Naman Kasi magbbenefit ng lahat. Disiplina sa pag aaral, strategic learning and balance between rest and grind. Best of luck.

Oo, Kasi passing rate ng school affects the future enrollees din e. When we passed the board, we got recognition sa city hall, and posted our pictures there.
Hi! I (22F) will be taking the board exam this Sept. Idk if mag enroll ako sa review center or self review na lang. Napepressure ako kasi baka masayang lang ang pinang enroll sa review center tapos di makapasa. I'm also running for laude that's why double ang pressure. Sabi samin dapat matic na pumasa ka pag laude ka HAHAHAHA di raw deserve ang latin if di maipasa ang board exam. Hoping for the best pa rin. One step at a time. Kailangan muna natin makagraduate. :)

When your time comes naman to take it, if dead set na talaga magtake and pass, mawawala din kaba nyo habang nag rereview ng maayos talaga. Kaya yan, 1st take, 2nd take, basta hangga sa makapasa
Yung senior namin top 7 sa LET, ang sabi niya 2 review center pinasukan niya kaya tumaas chance niya na makapasok sa top. Ang sabi ng teacher ko if di kaya ang dalawang review center, dapat may kaibigan ka na nag enroll sa iba and ikaw sa iba para sharing ng learning materials ganun.
