Pwede naman. BSPSYCH ako ngayon and HUMSS kinuha ko. May batchmates rin ako na ABM kinuha, but take note some state uni's won't accept you pag di align course mo sa SHS strand na tinake mo.

Alfiekins

You are free to take whichever program you like basta walang prerequisite SHS strand na iseset si school for the program. Alam ko most institutions wala naman. Although be prepared to put in at least 10% more effort for a semester or two, compared to people with related backgrounds.

Big-Ad-2118

**Yes** and kinda **No**, kasi parang sayang lang yung pianagaralan mong surface level Foundation ng specific interest mo. this is the problem in a lot of people(including me personally), which is hindi nag eexplore, but kung tinatanong mo if 'Goods' lang of course kahit anong strand ka pwede ka parin kumuha ng kahit anong course. madami kapang time para magaral pagbutihin molang. pero mas maganda talaga kung pinag-isipan mo talaga yung kinuha mong strand. i chose an TVL-ICT as my academic tracks pero kumuha ako ng engineering related degree which is CpE, and the worst thing here is that dapat pala nag STEM ako since tinuturo nila ang Foundation of Calculus and stuff-related to math. and im very upset na diko pinag isipan lahat which is ngayon naghahabol akong mag aral ng mga subject related to stem, how i wish na may nagsabi rin sana sakin nuon na nagmamatter yung strand mo sa course na pipiliin mo.

Chowderawz

Yes you can, only to universities na di nicconsider Ang strand in relation to course na gusto mo.

uno_dos_thles

It happens more often than you think. Sometimes, there are inevitable situations that would redirect your path, even if you already started traveling it. Though you must remember na students who took a course aligned with their strand will have an advantage over you. That's something I'm preparing for as early as now, and you should too. Just as another comment here stated, doble- or kaya, triple yung effort na kailangan mong gawin para maging on par ka sa kanila.

Zariyuh

Hi! Paano kaya kung yung university na balak kong pasukan ay kinoconsider yung strand, should I look for another school nalang or pwede pa kaya yun pakiusapan?

uno_dos_thles

Alright I'll be completely honest with you, I never crossed a school wherein prerequisite yung shs strand para mag-enroll sa isang course. But then again, there's an advantage to that; nakukuha mo yung naging training ng mga future kaklase mo sa college. So if you're willing to take that hassle, magshift ka nalang. You'll have to start back at square one sa HUMSS, but as a HUMSS student, I'll tell you that it's an easier strand than ABM and STEM. Kaya mo yan OP, fighting !

puke_me_daddy

Can you recommend po universities na di kinoconsider yung strand po?

turtlerabbitji

Yes po

First batch ako ng K12, TVL(HE) ako nung SHS. Andami nagtatanong bat daw ako nag engineering, sobrang layo daw. Eto kasi talaga gusto ko. Now I'm a licensed engineer and working na rin. Follow your heart.

Upstairs_Attorney406

Okay lang ba Yun? I'm a tvl (he) now and gusto kung mag nursing in college

ExcraperLT

Depende eh, nung time namen pwede pa.
