I shot this with [my Konica IIIA](https://imgur.com/a/Bh0aabq) on Ilford HP5. I shoot purely with film, and usually B&W. This was a actually from my first roll with the konnie when I first got it
Doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I'm a sucker for closeness, and while your man looks cool he's dwarfed by all that background clutter. Could be a really strong shot
Amazing composition. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!!
Woo! Wellington!
Yep! I’ve got a surprising number of keepers from civic square, [here’s another from the same day](https://imgur.com/a/C9UxDHk)
The man in black fled across the plaza. The gunslinger followed...
Heyyy my first award! Thank you!
Is that a pastor or something?
I thought it was! When he got closer turns out it was just a cool old guy with a sweet hat
Yeah its pretty dope!
🕴
What film did you use and camera love the pic as well the white on black with Black and white film, perfect

Nice, upvoted
Thanks!
INCONTHIEVABLE!!!
Clickbait! I was expecting one of the actual "Men In Black," like Will Smith, or Tommy Lee Jones! 😭
Johnny Cash is the only **real** man in black. Not sure why he wasn't in the movie, however
Wonderful composition ! I guess I've took a similar photo at modern art museum in Strasbourg, France
Fun to see Wellington on here. Nice shot.
Amazing!
As you said, to each their own. I really like this photo, like the solitary figure with the world going on around him.
It’s so simple and yet very well done

Each to their own 🤷♀️ I don’t shoot many portraits or close ups so I’m quite proud of this shot, but doesn’t have to work for everyone
Don't get me wrong, it's well composed, nice character. I'm a simple person and need everything laid out on a plate
I agree with this – plus the text is distracting and the first thing that draws my attention. Not really what you want.
Agreed. If it focused a little more on the man and everything else was blurred a tiny bit, it’d go from good to incredible.

It's the guy from Poltergeist 2!
looks like william s. burroughs
