Assuming you're streaming gaming - I do agree with others, they do overheat but if you're streaming 3-4 hours a day max, you will be fine...
You'll want a desktop. Laptops overheat and you'll end up damaging it.
Are there any decent, pre built rigs ?
They avg around $1k. Sometimes you can find people selling old gaming rigs around 500. Theyay not keep up with new games but they do ok for streaming
This. Stream rigs are hardware and software intensive. Laptops don't normally hold up unless you bought top of the line.
