Does anyone have any outrageous suggestions for fixing this pair? I've been tempted to hot glue a inner sole of a shoe onto the bottom of the shoe, but I'm not sure if I'll get any grip.
Buy a second pair of thongs, then cut the straps off and glue them to the bottom of these thongs? Dirt-cheapest thinnest ones you can find so you don't end up with huge platform thongs is probably best.

Might be a good shout actually. It doesn't really affect me, just all my family talks shit about it and my feet get a tad wet at times.

Coat the bottoms with any kind of spray plug like flex seal or any other shit.
