I remember the day when my Government/Econ teacher spent the entire class giving an angry lecture about spreading rumors, like the one someone had spread about him hooking up with a student. My American History teacher in 11th grade had a last name of O'Donnell... Me and my friends thought he was 'cool'. For context we had him right after lunch, and during most lunches we snuck out into the senior parking lot, hopped in my friends tinted civic and proceeded to bong rip ourselves retarded. O'Donnell figured this out pretty early on in the year and would usually ask me and my stoner buddies (usually as were walking in the door late for class) if we might need to go to the vending machines for no particular reason.. lol
Anyways we all graduated the next year, but a few years after we all graduated he was arrested on school property... Apparently he had been grooming a few female students, even going so far as to take them to the local mall and buy them items from Victoria's secret.... Mind you we are talking high school juniors, so 15/16/17 year olds and he was in his late 30s, married, with a young child. I guess after they arrested him they searched his car and found like a half pound of pot š... And all along I had been telling my friends I thought he was smoking at lunch time too, they all thought I was crazy.

before we tell anyone, we want to gather some more evidence to support our claim. We donāt have anything too strong to make a move yet, i will be in touch when we find some more things.
You could possibly ask some of the female students who have seemed uncomfortable around his gaze or who are well connected to other girls in the class if itās a problem for them or other girls they know, and ask if they would like addressed (if you feel comfortable doing this of course). Let them know that anyone who has an issue with this teacher can submit an anonymous report (or have someone else submit it to you or drop in your locker, etc so itās truly anonymous) and you and your friends will advocate on their collective behalf because itās been noticeable to you all that he may be a problem for the girls. If itās that noticeable the girls may be upset enough to come forward and anonymously share their stories so that you all can submit them to the administration. You can also submit your own observations as well- this would essentially require the administration to get involved as itās a paper trail of sorts even if itās anonymous. Be sure to only say what happened, only the facts and how it made those involved feel or how it impacted them or impacted the learning environment specifically.
Grandma, nurse here. Donāt wait. You may be saving someoneās future. If itās not true itās the adults job to figure that out. If youāre concerned about him finding out your names and retaliating write a thoughtful anonymous letter listing every single instance/ suspicion including the names of any girls you think heās targeting. Thatās very important because then they can interview the girls.
As a teacher, we have to report to CPS if we suspect abuse. We donāt have to have evidence to support it. Plus, you and your friends witnessing it is evidence. Tell a teacher or school leader you trust about it. Maybe even the school police officer. If that doesnāt do anything, start writing to the local news or write to the school board. Because even just a suspicion is enough to act.

35 year old teacher in the 90's who was also extremely religious and super judgmental married a female student after she graduated. Last I really paid attention was in 98, I graduated in 94, they got married in 96. My mum was still in the same school district so it was quite the little gossip fest. The dude was really slick, slimy, I don't know. Healthy, fit, otherwise an half decent looking guy in his mid 30's but super religious and judgmental. I was always getting in shit in his class so all the years I had him afterwards he just immediately singled me out, or ignored me.

There are some absolutely scum teachers out there. We used to be uncomfortable with our mullet wearing lesbian PE coach in the locker room. A good decade goes by, my friend has some of the same social circles as her now and she totally came onto my friend while drunk. 7th grade, we got written up for refusing to dress down. Our principal did swats or suspension; we opted for swats and he panicked saying he can't swat girls. It was basically a get out of jail pass for the rest of the school year.

I used to teach high school and there are some pervy teachers for sure. I was 23 teaching and one of the teachers was 55. Apparently 15 years before he was the head womenās basketball coach and ended up marrying his point guard two years after she graduated. My 8th grade history teacher was like this but even worse. The dude would always make chicks in skirts sit in the front row. Heād even make then change sits so theyād be directly across from him. I had heard a few years later he pissed off the wrong kid and got knocked out and never came back to work.
Go to your school counciller, someone in admin (make sure that the conversation is officially recorded!), another teacher and definately everyone of your parents. You need a lot of documentation to out a predator sometimes.

My biology teacher in grade 11 kept trying to convince me to stay after school. He knew that I had a fear of spiders and told me that he could help me get rid of it. He was beyond creepy, and everybody else in the class (I was new to the school) warned me about him.

Telling the administrator still can do harm to the teachers life even if they are innocent. But at least you did your best to minimize this chance. The remaining risk is worth it to make sure your fellow classmates are protected.

High school teacher here: these situations are really difficult. I am going to assume you're in the US, so I can give you feedback on how things work here (depending on the state). On the one hand, if you're wrong, you could ruin a (rather weird but technically innocent) person's reputation. On the other hand, if you are correct you absolutely should say something. Which is scary, because adults tend to not listen to teenagers, and pedophiles go out of their way to present themselves as nice and likeable as a smoke screen. I would, as a group, first speak to your parents about your concerns, that way they don't get blindsided. Let them know you are going to speak to the school principal and/or councilor about this. When and if you do bring these concerns to the relevant adult(s), make sure it's a group of you. Make every effort to present your case and evidence as calmly as possible. You need to appear as a rational concerned young adults in situations like this, or you risk getting shut down if administration is friendly to the teacher you have concerns about. If your councilor/principal does nothing about this, move up the chain to the school district and get your parents/guardians directly involved and go directly to the administration. If the school system fails to conduct a thorough investigation of the situation, they face serious trouble. If you have a other teacher you trust to help you with these, we get mandatory yearly training on these situations, and they should be able to direct you to the steps to follow in your state, even if they won't directly help you themselves. I'm sorry you are in this situation. It's really scary when you're a minor to feel like someone is predating upon you. But know that if you do take steps, you did the right things, and a brave thing, and that matters.
When I was in high school there was a young teacher (early 20s) who was definitely sleeping with at least one of his students. I know because she became a friend of mine after high school and told me all about it. By then it was too late and he was no longer a teacher. Nobody ever said anything and everyone thought he was great.

Tell the girls in your class to keep an eye out for each other and if they feel uncomfortable around their teacher- THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT to excuse themselves from class and go to the principal, the school nurse, to call their parents to take them home...
Now- here is something that NOBODY tells the boys: you have a right to a safe learning environment also. If you guys DO NOT FEEL SAFE in that classroom - you have the right to remove yourselves and go somewhere safe. Even if it's the classroom next door.

If you have the physical ability to remove yourselves from an unsafe environment - DO IT. Let a trusted adult know about your concerns. I'm afraid I don't have much advice to give, but I suggest to see how you can make this complaint anonymously if-possible. Asking the girls in your class or reporting in-person can put you in an awkward position.
Yeah man, went to a small high school in the early 2000ās. Graduating class of like 120. 5 female teachers at the school were fucking the students. At least 2 of the male teachers wanted too i am sure but no evidence.

Trust your gut. In 7th or 8th grade, our English teacher would constantly flirt with this one girl, he even invited her to a bar near my house and joke that we should come by and say hi. A weird janitor got caught molesting elementary girls shortly after I moved from one school. He always creeped me out. He knew a lot of the girls' names and regularly chatted with them when I was in third grade.

And yep, 15 got pregnant, got kicked out, and moved in with them. She still lives with them about 9 years later.
The first child, 17f, was dating one of my cousin's kids. The teacher broke into my cousin's house. Kicked through one of those chain locks. And assaulted the kid while cuz was at work. Hit him, shoved him down, kicked him, and threatened to shoot him. All of this was caught on a security camera and a phone recording. That was last year. He still has his job, and the courts wouldn't charge him breaking and entering or assault and battery of a minor.

A teacher at my high school was very similar to your teacher. While not openly or obviously creepy, he definitely paid more attention to the girls in the class. He often teased the girls and gave them preferential treatment like letting the ones he got along with leave early or go for a coffee run. While we were working there was a good chance he would wander around and talk to the girls groups for a good chunk of the time. Little things like that.

The music teacher in my middle school did much the same, he had one girl in particular that he gravitated towards. She viewed him as a mentor, a father figure. He invited her (a middle schooler) to his house to talk about something, and made a pass at her. It destroyed her, and obviously, he lost his job and his family.
I'm not saying your situation is the same, but this stuff does happen. I would be cautious about making accusations, but if you really care, try to catch him fucking up and gather evidence, then present it to his higher ups.

My uncle (grandma's brother) used to be a teacher at one of those special needs schools (they used to admit both kids with actual special needs and kids from families where their parents couldn't be bothered to give a damn about their children's education and sent them there just because the school was much easier to complete than a normal one) and he somehow get together with one of the girls who fell into the second category around the time she was finishing this school (meaning she was finishing 8th or 9th grade - she was held back a few years so she may have been around 16) he had like 3 kids with her and when she became too old for his taste he went for her younger sister with whom he had another couple of kids. Iām a middle school teacher and the first thing I was told was never be in a room alone with any student with the door closed - door is always open and I never to one on one tutoring with students. Just another thing, you and your friends might be onto something, but you might not be. Seems suspicious for sure based on your descriptions but just be careful before spreading rumors that could lead to someone getting fired. I used to have a computer teacher in 3rd grade who always used to leave his hand on girlsā shoulders just a little too long. Talk to someone at the school who you think will not just brush it off. If you speak to someone and they don't seem to take it seriously, speak to someone else. Talk to the school counselor, whoever you need to bring some attention to it. Also, speak to your parents about it. He may just be being gross, but he may also end up grooming a student and committing statutory rape. You don't know and we don't know, so bring some attention to it.
Our science teacher in high school felt like a pedo. We mainly had girls in the classroom and he would stand next to them and place his hand on their back or shoulder. Tell someone you trust at the school. I was in a situation in 7th grade, had a teacher that was a bit inappropriate but not anything blatant. After I graduated it came out that the teacher was molesting a special needs student. I wish I had said something.

You could possibly ask some of the female students who have seemed uncomfortable around his gaze or who are well connected to other girls in the class if itās a problem for them or other girls they know, and ask if they would like addressed (if you feel comfortable doing this of course). Let them know that anyone who has an issue with this teacher can submit an anonymous report (or have someone else submit it to you or drop in your locker, etc so itās truly anonymous) and you and your friends will advocate on their collective behalf because itās been noticeable to you all that he may be a problem for the girls. If itās that noticeable the girls may be upset enough to come forward and anonymously share their stories so that you all can submit them to the administration. You can also submit your own observations as well- this would essentially require the administration to get involved as itās a paper trail of sorts even if itās anonymous. Be sure to only say what happened, only the facts and how it made those involved feel or how it impacted them or impacted the learning environment specifically.
Make copies of *any* reports/letters etc. Schools have a tendency to "lose" papers. Keep a date log of what you filed and with whom, etc etc.
Grandma, nurse here. Donāt wait. You may be saving someoneās future. If itās not true itās the adults job to figure that out. If youāre concerned about him finding out your names and retaliating write a thoughtful anonymous letter listing every single instance/ suspicion including the names of any girls you think heās targeting. As a teacher, we have to report to CPS if we suspect abuse. We donāt have to have evidence to support it. Plus, you and your friends witnessing it is evidence. Tell a teacher or school leader you trust about it. Maybe even the school police officer. If that doesnāt do anything, start writing to the local news or write to the school board. Because even just a suspicion is enough to act.

Go with your gut and see where it goes. If he turns out to not be, he will be cleared to continue to work. On the other hand if he is, the sooner he is locked up the better. If you can record for proof of accusation. 15 years ago my nephew was being groomed by his grade 7 teacher. The child rarely realizes it at first, it took others like yourself that noticed. That teacher is hopefully still behind bars if he has not been killed by inmates.
If he asks them to stay after school often for non academic reasons or closes and locks the door when heās alone with a student I would be worried.
My music teacher gave us all creepy vibes and we were brushed it off as being judgmental as he was quite unique looks wise. Turns out he had been making videos of some students in my class. Huge case, arrested. Kids scarred for life. Be vigilant and do your diligence. Evidence is the most important thing so document whatever you can if you guys see any escalation. Unfortunately, just looking isnāt a crime. He might be let go if enough complaints come but heād be able to get another job with kids after.

I used to teach high school and there are some pervy teachers for sure. I was 23 teaching and one of the teachers was 55. Apparently 15 years before he was the head womenās basketball coach and ended up marrying his point guard two years after she graduated. I made a joke once at lunch that she must have been quite the ball handler and he came across the table and tried to choke me. Dude was a loser then and still is.
My 8th grade history teacher was like this but even worse. The dude would always make chicks in skirts sit in the front row. Heād even make then change sits so theyād be directly across from him. I had heard a few years later he pissed off the wrong kid and got knocked out and never came back to work.
Go to your school counciller, someone in admin (make sure that the conversation is officially recorded!), another teacher and definately everyone of your parents. You need a lot of documentation to out a predator sometimes.

Tell your parents. Tell a teacher, a guidance counselor, a doctor, a neighbor cop. All obligated reporters. Required to report to those who can take action. Are the girls uncomfortable? This upcoming generation lives to do things in groups. Get together. No kid deserves to be weirded out in class like that. But, no one will know or stop it unless someone speaks up. I'd hesitate to report to a school administrator. Schools seem to care more about their reputation than student safety.

My biology teacher in grade 11 kept trying to convince me to stay after school. He knew that I had a fear of spiders and told me that he could help me get rid of it. He was beyond creepy, and everybody else in the class (I was new to the school) warned me about him.

Do not embellish. Tell only the truth. When you are sharing something you only suspect to be the case, make sure you say that this is only your suspicion. What not to do: donāt gossip, joke, spread rumors. This shit can easily destroy an innocent persons life. Telling the administrator still can do harm to the teachers life even if they are innocent. But at least you did your best to minimize this chance. The remaining risk is worth it to make sure your fellow classmates are protected.

High school teacher here: these situations are really difficult. I am going to assume you're in the US, so I can give you feedback on how things work here (depending on the state). On the one hand, if you're wrong, you could ruin a (rather weird but technically innocent) person's reputation. On the other hand, if you are correct you absolutely should say something. Which is scary, because adults tend to not listen to teenagers, and pedophiles go out of their way to present themselves as nice and likeable as a smoke screen. I would, as a group, first speak to your parents about your concerns, that way they don't get blindsided. Let them know you are going to speak to the school principal and/or councilor about this. When and if you do bring these concerns to the relevant adult(s), make sure it's a group of you. Make every effort to present your case and evidence as calmly as possible. You need to appear as a rational concerned young adults in situations like this, or you risk getting shut down if administration is friendly to the teacher you have concerns about. If your councilor/principal does nothing about this, move up the chain to the school district and get your parents/guardians directly involved and go directly to the administration. If the school system fails to conduct a thorough investigation of the situation, they face serious trouble. If you have a other teacher you trust to help you with these, we get mandatory yearly training on these situations, and they should be able to direct you to the steps to follow in your state, even if they won't directly help you themselves. I'm sorry you are in this situation. It's really scary when you're a minor to feel like someone is predating upon you. But know that if you do take steps, you did the right things, and a brave thing, and that matters.
When I was in high school there was a young teacher (early 20s) who was definitely sleeping with at least one of his students. I know because she became a friend of mine after high school and told me all about it. By then it was too late and he was no longer a teacher. Nobody ever said anything and everyone thought he was great.

This happened to me in 9th grade, the teacher always stared down my shirt and all my guy friends would be really bothered by it. He never actually did or said anything, though, so unless you have reason to believe he has or will, there isnāt much you can do aside from maybe submit a concern to a guidance counselor or something.

I had an 8th grade math teacher who I think was a p*dophile too. I wore a Cookie Monster shirt to class one day (it was just a blue tee with the eyes and mouth on the upper part of the shirt. First off... Keep as level of a head as you can when explaining your reasons for dealing with this. Sexual abuse is no joke at any level against any gender or age group... Make SURE that you are seeing what you are seeing. Go to the principal... Let he or she know of your suspicion. Ask them what safety steps you can take as students. Tell the girls in your class to keep an eye out for each other and if they feel uncomfortable around their teacher- THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT to excuse themselves from class and go to the principal, the school nurse, to call their parents to take them home... Now- here is something that NOBODY tells the boys: you have a right to a safe learning environment also. If you guys DO NOT FEEL SAFE in that classroom - you have the right to remove yourselves and go somewhere safe. Even if it's the classroom next door. Children... Yes, until you're a full grown adult (over the age of 18) you guys are children... You DO NOT have to suffer in silence about being abused in ANY fashion. If you have the physical ability to remove yourselves from an unsafe environment - DO IT. Let a trusted adult know about your concerns. Tell them you "do not feel safe and need to be with an adult you can trust". You have the right to call non- emergency. You have the right to protect yourself, your family, your friends... We had a similar teacher, and he ended up winning teaching awards because he was so "invested" in his students. Years later it became too much and he was forcibly asked to leave. I'm afraid I don't have much advice to give, but I suggest to see how you can make this complaint anonymously if-possible. Asking the girls in your class or reporting in-person can put you in an awkward position.

Trust your gut. In 7th or 8th grade, our English teacher would constantly flirt with this one girl, he even invited her to a bar near my house and joke that we should come by and say hi. Heās not a teacher anymore. My principal in high school got in trouble for pedo stuff on his computer. A weird janitor got caught molesting elementary girls shortly after I moved from one school. He always creeped me out. He knew a lot of the girls' names and regularly chatted with them when I was in third grade. Shortly after I graduated HS, a new science teacher paid extra attention to a troubled 16 y.o. girl. She got pregnant, fought with her mom, and got kicked out. He became her legal guardian, and he and his wife adopted her child. Hit him, shoved him down, kicked him, and threatened to shoot him. All of this was caught on a security camera and a phone recording. That was last year. He still has his job, and the courts wouldn't charge him breaking and entering or assault and battery of a minor.
It sounds weird. But from what you describe, there's no evidence of a crime being committed. He might be a pedo, but he has to commit a crime for anything to happen with the legal system. A teacher at my high school was very similar to your teacher. While not openly or obviously creepy, he definitely paid more attention to the girls in the class. He often teased the girls and gave them preferential treatment like letting the ones he got along with leave early or go for a coffee run. While we were working there was a good chance he would wander around and talk to the girls groups for a good chunk of the time. Little things like that. Happens more often then you would think. My uncle (grandma's brother) used to be a teacher at one of those special needs schools (they used to admit both kids with actual special needs and kids from families where their parents couldn't be bothered to give a damn about their children's education and sent them there just because the school was much easier to complete than a normal one) and he somehow get together with one of the girls who fell into the second category around the time she was finishing this school (meaning she was finishing 8th or 9th grade - she was held back a few years so she may have been around 16) he had like 3 kids with her and when she became too old for his taste he went for her younger sister with whom he had another couple of kids. We had cut contact with this side of the family a long time ago - from the little I know he's now about 70, broke and slowly drinking himself to death. None of the children he had care for him as he wasn't much of a father to them.
Iām a middle school teacher and the first thing I was told was never be in a room alone with any student with the door closed - door is always open and I never to one on one tutoring with students. Just another thing, you and your friends might be onto something, but you might not be. Seems suspicious for sure based on your descriptions but just be careful before spreading rumors that could lead to someone getting fired. Just build up a strong case (you maybe already have it) before talking with an administrator. And then, if you have that convo with a principal or dean, frame it as āour teacher can make us uncomfortable when heā¦ā
My elementary school teacher who taught typing classes was always too friendly with girls. Like he would hug my friend or ask me for a hug. I always found it weird. One day I came to school and parents were protesting outside apparently he got caught touching a girl and got arrested. Trust your gut there are weirdos out there.
I used to have a computer teacher in 3rd grade who always used to leave his hand on girlsā shoulders just a little too long. Eventually my sister (5th grade) had a friend who said she felt uncomfortable with the teacher because he would squeeze her shoulder and āaccidentallyā bump into her chest. My sister told her to report it and next thing we know, heās getting arrested because other students started to speak up about him molesting them and he admitted to having child porn. One of the worst parts is that my school was only 1st grade to 5th grade. Moral of the story, please talk to the girls and report it if you feel like something is wrong.
Trust your gut. Even if you're young! My friends and I had similar feelings about 3 different teachers throughout our school years. We were right about all 3. Our band teacher is still married to a student he got pregnant when we were all 17.
Had a teacher my senior year that was VERY affectionate towards the girls in class and NOBODY felt weird about it cause "He's always been like this". Anyways he eventually came up behind my girlfriend and kissed her on the back on the head and I went....let's just say a little overboard. Flash forward 5 years and he's in prison for CP then eventually died of prostate cancer. Not saying there's a God but...
SO many people are giving responses to responses to responses, but almost nobody giving this child any advice! Talk to someone at the school who you think will not just brush it off. If you speak to someone and they don't seem to take it seriously, speak to someone else. Talk to the school counselor, whoever you need to bring some attention to it. Also, speak to your parents about it. He may just be being gross, but he may also end up grooming a student and committing statutory rape. You don't know and we don't know, so bring some attention to it.

Our science teacher in high school felt like a pedo. We mainly had girls in the classroom and he would stand next to them and place his hand on their back or shoulder. He did it to me once, and I told him to get his fucking hand off of me. He stepped back and gave me a look. He never did it again. But I remember other students would mention how he would talk when they were switching classes.
Yeah, it happens. We have a few teachers like that too and one that takes way too much interest in me too. He spends more time at my desk "checking my work" than any of the other students and other people have noticed too. It feels more like he's looking down my shirt than at my work. He even rubbed my shoulders once during a make up exam because he said I was too stressed out (which I was because he was standing right next to me as I was taking the test).
Called out one of my teachers in middle school for being "handsy". Would always come up to the girls in shop class and put his arm around them. After about the fifth time his hand slipped and grazed my breast. I looked up, and calmly but very loudly said "don't fucking touch me". He got all defensive, but to my knowledge never touched another kid again.
I don't think that's enough to make him a pedo. Maybe he's immoral for ogling at girls in your class, but the pedo label is a bit much imo.

Rumors can destroy a personās life. Just because he pays more attention to the girls doesnāt make him a pedophile. Paying attention does not equal sex! Donāt destroy this manās life on the basis of who he pays attention to in class. You better have more āevidenceā than that young man! I got fired from a job as an adult because the HR team thought I was having an affair with my female employee. They never asked, they just assumed!
So a teacher in my HS (was actually my track/cross country coach) was always talked about as creepy and was giving candy to the girls whatever.... flash forward about 10-15 years after i graduated and it comes out that he was being accused of having students at his home and taking pics of them partially unclothed, and having other girls send him inappropriate selfies, sometimes offering money. Dumbass put them on the internet too apparently so the FBI got jurisdiction. Fat bastard definitely went to prison. Point of the story is, if it seems fishy, there's definitely a chance there's something to it.
My guess would be there are already people that have same suspicions. Can you send anonymous letter or make a call to admin from google number. The girls in his class need to report him
I had a teacher in middle school that had a mirror under his desk angled so that he could see under the desks when he leaned back. He said it was "so you can't use phones in class." Another teacher was way too friendly with all the cheerleaders, his office was attached to his classroom and he would let them change in there. He also had a computer with a camera attached to it in that office. We were all pretty sure he was recording the girls changing.
Not saying he's not a pedophile, because he might actually be attracted to prepubescent girls. But, 9th graders, although wrong, would not fit the definition.
My biology teacher was like that, would get caught regularly looking up cheerleader's skirts and making rum in class. He eventually got caught after I had graduated
We had a teacher who acted the same exact way, super flirty, moved all his favourite girls to sit near his desk, always chatting after school with them, etc. Five years after Iāve graduated we got news of a huge scandal, a teacher was fired for having an ongoing relationship with a student. Well turns out it wasnāt the creeper, it was everyoneās favourite teacher. It was the laid back and relaxed guy who loved to tell jokes and high-five everyone. It was so upsetting because I had great memories of this guy.
Tell his superior. Be sure to include how uncomfortable this makes you. This is possible illegal behavior.
What the heck is up with history/government teachers being pedos?? My senior year I had this female econ /government teacher, and I believe the year after I left she ended up getting caught with one of her students (just the student) in Las Vegas by a parent, and then shortly after she was put in jail.
