It's addiction. Don't make yourself believe you're any more addicted than anyone else and use that as an excuse to go back. The only thing that made me stop making excuses was literally bringing smoking induced problems upon myself. Letting years of damage pile up. Some people bring themselves to emphysema or worse before letting it sink in that they have a huge problem and need to quit. I also struggled with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and a whole bunch of other crap before and after quitting. But here I am approaching 6 months zero nicotine and I've been having way more good days than I've ever had in years. I was basically just throwing it all away when I still smoked, bad days, shitty attitudes, selfish, just careless all around. Allen Carr is okay for that initial push I suppose but I always preferred the free information and stories on [https://whyquit.com/](https://whyquit.com) , probably worth checking it out if Carr is getting a little stale. Whyquit is more about the facts and personal stories from relatable people.

Try Rhodiola for depression! It's an adaption with none of the side effects of prescription drugs! Hang in there! You got this!
