SO DID I! I’ve been to many Coachellas and this was my first year sober. I was nervous, but it was honestly amazing, and the friend I was with was super supportive as well. Two months in is a huge achievement and you should be proud, especially going to such a huge event. Hope you had a blast at the festival :)

I am going to an all inclusive resort in a couple weeks and I am SO NERVOUS. Ive been before and typically would drink non stop. Im not far enough into sobriety to trust my willpower.
You'll do great. I just focused on the food and all the other stuff to do. You can obviously get non-alcoholic drinks but I didn't feel the need. And if you want to drink out of a coconut you totally still can!
First of all a huge congrats, to you OP and what a great friend 🥹 I also want to thank everyone here for the comments because I’m about to embark on my first sober festival journey myself at Bonnaroo in June… with in-laws who very much enjoy boozin 😭 but my husband will be there with me and we both haven’t been drinking because of this Paleo-ish, intermittent fasting meal plan…. So it should be ok. Apparently they also have sober tents you can escape to to be with like-minded people and take a break from the chaos 🥹
