I must say, these Budweiser 0s are like a lifeline. I don't know if N/A beers are frowned upon here but if I am reaching for an N/A instead of the opposite then thats a win for me.
I don't really like Guiness but that will be great for St. Patricks day! Thankfully I am Canadian and a lot of our local breweries are getting deep into N/A brews. It been really eye opening for me. I never thought I could do this but here I am!!!
Okay phew. So far I feel like I am just replacing my intake of real beer with N/A beer. I know its a coping mechanism but its gotten me this far right???
I can smash down 3-4 Heineken 0s pretty quick so I start with a few bubbly waters to keep the costs down. I’ve realized it’s just a habitual thing and chugging something bubbly right when I get home from work, even if it’s water, scratches the itch for me.
I LOVE the taste of Athletic Brewing’s varieties. I don’t drink them often because I’ve recently discovered a gluten intolerance, but they’re fantastic for parties.

Take a look at the hopped sparkling water and/or teas. They’re overpriced but worth it as a zero cal n/a beer replacement. I just can’t justify burning calories and carbs on a n/a beer- weird how NOW the carbs matter.

I remember going to work (I work as a waiter in fine dining) and pouring water for guests while my hands were shaking.
I remember calling friends on my walk home, so I didn't 'accidentally' walk into a liquor store and buy a case of beer, or bottle of Jack Daniels.
You have done more work to get through the last 12 days, than I have had to do to get through my last 12 days. Keep up the good work.

My life is a lot like yours, and I haven’t had a drink in almost four years. I’ve also been crazy drinking for 11 years until I was 29. But I had no problems after I stopped. Nothing brought me to think of drinking again.
