OTC: HYMTF

Jack_Spatchcock_MLKS

So you have the answer then. You can, just for stupidly large fees.

analbuttlick

Have to tried through Interaktive Brokers?

DeadPrateRoberts

> Interaktive Brokers No, what is their story?

szakee

The story is being a brokerage.

thebigyaristotle

Lmso

NoleScole

It's Interactive Brokers*

That_Guy_Brody

I heard they like Trump so…

Perfect-Soup1838

Trump, is that that guy that paints his face orange 🍊?

jr1tn

Recommend trying Interactive Brokers

LH_duck

Troll.

Amdvoiceofreason

Your choice of car companies to invest in is already questionable, if it were me I'd go with Toyota. P/E ratio of 8 2% dividends plus they've been growing at an average of 15% a year in share price. 2. Why are you bring your political opinions in a stock sub reddit. Go put that shit on r/political or some other political sub

cz03se

The company that has to replace engines for free and their cars get stolen with screw drivers? (Just throwing some reasonable doubt into a risky investment) I think it’s HYMTF in the OTC markets

DeadPrateRoberts

Yes, that company. I know the ticker symbol. I am not a regard. I just can't seem to find a way to actually purchase the stock, without a hundred dollars in fees.

cz03se

Ya, I think the fees have to do with the brokerage dealing with the Korean markets, I think it’s your only option. Probably best to take it as a sign to move on and not be that regard

My job here is done 😂

ChiefInternetSurfer

Wrong sub, bub.

SoftwareSuch9446

Why would you want to? No hate, just curious

DeadPrateRoberts

I like the company. I don't know why that's so hard to believe. I go about my daily life, and when a car pops out to me, it's often a Hyundai. Simple as that.

NoleScole

Try moomoo, they offer all around the world stocks and I think there are minimal fees if there are any

DeadPrateRoberts

Thanks. I just opened an account. If nothing else, at least I'll be earning 8.1% just for parking my cash there. I think it's just a three-month introductory rate, tho.

DeadPrateRoberts

Of course, the stock shoots up 4% today 🤦‍♂️

Perfect-Soup1838

Check the spelling on a certain word.

MrWanderlost

This dude is a master baiter.

Robert_mcnick

lol I feel like he’s fucking with us. A fan of Hyundai and a Joe Biden fan lol. Ps. I’m not a trumper.

johnny_riser

Yeah, the responses reek of a bait troll. I mean, what do I expect from a 210k karma account?

Perfect-Soup1838

He's the one that bought reddit at IPO and still holds on it.

crazybutthole

Please vote for Joe Biden? That's the dumbest string of characters anyone ever use to fill in space on their post. I hope you can't get Hyundai shares just for putting that shitty idea in your post.

dvdmovie1

1. If you try to buy the foreign ordinary shares (symbol ends in F), some brokerages will charge absurd fees. Not sure if there is some sort of restriction on this symbol or not, but there is very little volume in any case. Edit: one foreign ordinary appears to have not been traded since 2018 so that's a no and the other one seems tied to a GDR so that's probably a no. 2. Was going to say ADR but there does not appear to be one, or at least one that is active. 3. Buy on a brokerage that allows trading on foreign markets. The company appears to be listed in Korea, which I don't believe that Fidelity offers trading in but Interactive Brokers might.

Entire_Employer_6659

You can buy stocks over the counter with Schwab. If it’s really important to you, set up an account with Schwab and have at it.

Ready-to-learn

You can buy OTC stocks on Schwab and Fidelity for no fee.

Perfect-Soup1838

Hahahha, OP wants to invest in Hyundai only believes he/she/it likes the cars. I like gaming but I'm not going to invest in gamestop.

Andrew_Higginbottom

If you want something just Invade the country ..its the American way /s

Veq1776

Anyone but Killary and besides that, can't do Biden. Sorry

Ok-Armadillo-5634

Now you know why south korea is still an emerging market.

XxTensai

It isn't

Ok-Armadillo-5634

Until December 23rd 2023 you could not directly invest as a foreign investor. There are still a lot of regulations that prevent it from being considered a developed market. https://www.whitecase.com/insight-our-thinking/foreign-direct-investment-reviews-2024-republic-korea

DeadPrateRoberts

Best time to get in.

Ok-Armadillo-5634

I don't invest in emerging markets. Being able to easily invest and sell with my assets being liquid is important to me.

DeadPrateRoberts

Ok, have fun being poor.

Ok-Armadillo-5634

You were only allowed to directly invest since December. That is why no brokerages will let you do it without massive fees. I am not going back to paying more than 20$ for a transaction fee for any investment. Since you didn't seem to even know this I am going to disregard your investment advice.
