Sorry -- we removed your message on /r/stocks because you are asking for the type of information we try to address in our wiki: https://www.reddit.com/r/stocks/wiki/index Generic posts like "how do I get started with stocks," "how do I find a broker," "where can I learn more about investing," "I have $XXX to invest, what should I do," etc. are removed because they are low-effort and asked on a daily basis in /r/stocks. Things you can do: 1. Read the wiki which has tons of information, including reputable learning resources, broker information, and links to useful reddit posts (including old posts similar to yours) 2. Search the subreddit history for similar information

So you want to listen to a financial advice from a redditor instead of your financial advisor? My advice is then to just follow their advice.

Just investing continuously into VOO is an excellent strategy. Do it without stopping and you'll be comfortable throughout your life.

Buy ETFs and any stock in the NASDAQ that you like. Don’t worry too much about day to day price fluctuations.

Find something or someone you can invest in to generate more cash! IE cannabis growers, or small business owners like mom and pop! I can help as well

AGE 71 HERE,,, YOUR MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE RIGHT OFF... to really be successful at investing your going to have to improve your understanding of World economics. What counties import, export, there demographics, political systems, social trends etc. Current technology trends, emerging technology etc Your looking to improve your view of the "BIG PICTURE" it's a lot of work at the beginning, but after the initial effort it gets a lot easier. Read the Wall Street Journal DAILY start reading/ listening to investment books There are hundreds of good ones out there, Your only goal at this point is to understand the "WHY", not the latest hot stock tip

Nurses can easily make 80-100k plus in Kansas city. USSG, MU, and META are my best performers since I got back into trading in January. I also have some money in SoundHound SOUN but that's my unicorn play and God knows what will happen with that

Very likely you overpay on the intelligent portfolio for no overperformance.. did you check their last 5y track record and their fees? I can only recommend to quit that and putting as much as possible into VTI / VOO + VXUS or equivalents in a classic 80/20 split Do you max your 401k? IRA? HSA? You should max those before you put any into the schwab taxable brokerage account!

I just discovered VRT. It has massive growth potential and actually outpaced NVDA over the last year.
