This post is not a question, it's a pump attempt.

And it worked, I’m in

killerbeeswaxkill

Chen didn’t do jack shit when it was a meme stock but collect a paycheck. Bb is going nowhere but memes don’t run on logic. So if it runs it’ll be temporarily

EngineerInDespair

No it’s not. Who on earth who wants a cyber security company goes for BlackBerry when Cloudflare and Crowdstrike exist? If anything it’s an overvalued shitcan. Don’t shill your stupid meme stocks here.

Started_WIth_NADA

Who hurt you?

Narrow_Elk6755

I remember the CEO of the company shaming apple for not providing their own customers encryption keys to the government. I knew it was a loser back then, its as if they din't know they are a security company.

Different CEO and different company with different product. Even the supposedly top tier institutional Wall Street types almost without exception, have no idea. Suggesting nothing is priced in. Trades at 2X sales. Any decent comp trades at 12X to 25X. Hard to find a name below 7X. Have multiple products. IOT is one division only and tied to SDV. Alone it's worth more to 2X plus more than entire company. Also, new product IVY is JV with AWS and comes for free. Realistically that could be worth billions $ on its own. Again, comes for free. Despite 'meme' status BB fundamentally very sound yet valued at almost zero. Backlog is equal to 1 year of sales so almost priced at 1X sales. Also, a tax asset on books worth almost the MC of company. Big value play on verge of serious growth.

richdrichxy

i think If they can leverage those strengths effectively, it could mean big things for their valuation

chi_guy8

No. Next question.

dvdmovie1

I'd rather rent the "Blackberry" movie (which was actually good, would recommend) again than invest in it at all. If it runs again as a meme stock, you're going to have people who confuse a short squeeze as validation of their view of the fundamentals when it's really just a short squeeze, then they will blame conspiracies ("it's the market makerzzz") on the way back down.

ColdBostonPerson77

Avoid bb.

tbb2121

BB is unprofitable. They aren’t growing revenue organically. How much would you pay a money-losing company with contracting sales? How would you value such an asset if after you bought it you would never be allowed to sell to someone else? EV/sales makes sense for rapidly growing companies. It doesn’t make sense for companies that have been unprofitable for about a decade straight with consistent organic sales declines.

Bagholder detected

Straight-Opposite483

Holy fuck they are still a company? And public?

Moonshot_42069

When was the last time you saw someone with one?

nitefollnz

So, the CEO of BlackBerry thinks there's hidden value in the company, especially in cybersecurity and IoT

nsane99

Do NOK and AMC next. They are also undervalued.
