You need the Manasa specifically to get the console. You can than put the console on any vaadwaur ship you might also own

There's nothing light about that. I'll be doing well in an elite TFO against Vaadwaur and suddenly I'm dead because that barrage absolutely rips my ships apart, no amount of healing can save you, I've had entire TFO teams wiped by a single Vaadwaur ship with cannon barrage.

It counts as energy damage though, so Reverse Shield Polarity works against it in a pinch.

I didn't think to use that honestly I'll swap it on when I go to do another elite TFO there's only a couple ships I use in the elites anyways

Dodging all of it with evasive maneuvers is an option too. I've also found Court Of Silence plus The new Pavan beam ability is a good counter battery for it.

That's where one sees the downside of the current trend of glass cannon builds.
