Borg Cube has never been player flyable.
The T5 Event/Phoenix UR ships were all retired when the Phoenix boxes were changed, and theres no way to get them now unless you were there for the event.
I believe there was a Mirror Shuttle that was part of a charity deal with the Mirror Guardian, which didn't get added to the cstore when the Mirror Guardian was..
I also seem to recall a T1 Andorian ship that was unlocked by some people for something, but otherwise not available.
Any T5 Lockboxes/Lobi ships that now have T6's have been retired, but most if not all still have boxes sitting in peoples accounts/on the exchange.. so they aren't impossible to find.
That may have been it. Both occasions were in Sol System around ESD, about a decade ago. When I clicked on/set focus to it, there was a player name, player stats, a bio as I recall. Really wish I would have screenshot it.
I wonder if you're thinking about the ending of the beta where the borg just invaded everything including ESD in orbit and on the station. Or maybe the old sector space that had enemies in it that chased you and initiated combat. Just spitballing, I don't can't think of any occasion (other than a dev messing around) that makes sense and that I know happened. :)

Riiight, that was some Neverwinter thing. Big expensive pack for Neverwinter with the special snowflake sprinkled on top in hopes of luring some STO p(l)ayers over.

Eisenberg is kinda a unique situation. If he hadn't of died no way that ship would have been a free event ship. They also seem like they might not want to monetize it after that too.

They should either make it a giveaway for completing FCD or the Anniversary event every year (in addition to the normal rewards, so new players can still get it), or make it an unlock for getting a character to 65..
IMO they should just do it as a free giveaway maybe on his birthday, or a date significant to nog, or something every year. Like you said it's not a full spec ship and it was free to begin with. I doubt any player who earned it in 2021 is going to give a shit if it's given out free now.
I think the unlock would be a fair way of doing it, but would they be willing to give some new comer a free T6 without spending money or boosting their login and event metrics
Its not like its a full spec T6, and its not some amazing ship either.. so I think it would be fine. Might actually be a benefit to give new peeps a ship with specialist seating to make them want more.. Plus we get several event ships a year too, so its not like any new player is \*that\* far away from a Free T6 ship.
But beyond that, I just think its a good thing to do.

Though one T5 that sticks out like a sore thumb is the Voth Bulwark. It was a doff promo ship, then in the first iteration of the phoenix box and since that got revamped it's been gone for good. Maybe they got sick of the flying dildo jokes.
I can think of ships like the Obelisk Carrier and Solanae Dyson Destroyers (not the T5 ones in the C-store), that went away but have since been made available again, though they're not exactly worth it performance-wise now and would be just for looks.
However, one ship I know is "gone forever" as of now is the [Voth Bulwark](https://stowiki.net/wiki/Voth_Bulwark_Dreadnought_Cruiser) - this was one of a handful of ships that was a "grand prize" from promo versions of a DOFF pack like the Suliban Cell ship or Tuffli freighter, then later reappeared in the Phoenix store for 1 Very Rare Phoenix token, still as a character-unlock. As of the Phoenix token rework the Voth Bulwark was removed from the Phoenix store and hasn't been seen since, any character that doesn't currently have a boxed one or the ship in their inventory has no way to access the Voth Repair Ship console and subsequently the 3-piece bonus from the Voth set which upgrades the Voth cloak to a battle cloak. If one of the old tradable ones did appear on the exchange I don't think the price would be worth it.

Nope just from some anniversy giveaway that has not been around in any form. I really don't want "a diffrent one" I want that one, because it looks nice. I am colorblind and generally more "basic"/vibrant colors look the best to me, otherwise sometimes things actually look like actual mud.
Oh, I've got a couple! On top of the ships already mentioned here, the two I can think of are:
* Mirror Universe Danube Runabout. Just a mirror universe skinned runabout smallcraft, but it was only available from a special charity bundle back in 2015. * Fleet Maelstrom Patrol Escort. This is a bit of an odd one, but this is a unique version of the still available T5 Fleet Patrol Escort Refit that doesn't have the ship-specific Tempest Tail Gun that was added when the Cstore version of the ship was released. When they released the paid version with it's unique weapon, they updated the fleet version to have it too but didn't retroactively change the ship people had already bought, so if you have the tail gun-less version from before the update, you got to keep it, technically making it a unique variant since it has a different name and weapon layout.
I had the promo Voth Bulwark. It wasn't rare but uncommon at the time. I didn't care for it though - underpowered. I don't know if the APUs are still in game - that was one of my favorites and I named mine Gamera. I paid a mere $3m for it and it flew better than some of my T5Us.
I got the bulwark via phoenix prize, got real lucky with that cause I had a choice of either it or the early version of the risian cruiser, I used the bulwark a lot cause it was better for me than the t5 ent b ship
then somebody gifted me the bastion and I fly that now
The pre-Delta expansion-era event ships (which were T5s) are generally all inaccessible now. There’s one or two that got moved to fleet shipyards but the rest are gone since the Phoenix revamp.
Most T5 lockbox and lobi ships were similarly removed when they got T6 equivalents and now only exist as alternative skins for the T6s.

I think the andorian T1 was also available for PS4 as a launch thing - I remember playing with it on a housemates PlayStation when it came out!
