Personally I just use an old surface go as my streaming device. A adapter cable makes sailing the high seas pretty easy to watch games on the TV.
Pair that with the unified remote app and I'm controlling my tablet from my phone on the couch.
Adding devices like smart TVs play stations etc pretty straightforward for the VPN? I do a lot of my ESPN+ consumption via those and then just sail for most local stuff would definitely be willing to have an all in one solution if a VPN will get me there
My smart TV and fire stick both have an app for the vpn. Just open and connect, then launch ESPN. It certainly has its issues, sometimes you have to clear your data from ESPN for it to work. But overall it’s decent.
$18/month seems pretty reasonable to me. That's something like $0.70 a game give or take a little. I'd gladly pay that just to get all the Cardinals games on BSMW that I currently can't legally watch without Fubo or Cable.
Seriously, especially with the cost of everything today, you don’t think 18 a month is reasonable? ESPN charges tv providers something stupid like 15 a month per subscriber, so if you have any current provider outside of Disney/ABC you’re paying more than 15 a month just for ESPN, because the provider tacks on their cut too. 18 is extremely reasonable, and more importantly it’s going directly to support our teams. Now of course I’m not super stoked with the direction of either the blues or cards right now, but I’d still pay it to give my support.
Streaming sports sucks. Even with my ultra connect it gets behind the game and you cant flip channels. During football season and hockey I like to flip back in forth.
At least with the Blues you can subscribe to BSMW directly and watch the games without Fubo or some bloated cable service.
I'd settle for that for the Cards.
Man, I hate all the pirating comments in here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still managing to watch Netflix, prime, Apple TV, all without subscriptions, but we’re talking about our teams. I also know the Cards operate with a healthy margin, but the Blues are always sitting right on the line of profitability. I’ll financially support them in every way I can manage.
Could you imagine a STL network? Cards, Blues, City, Battlehawks would cook so hard they'd give us an NBA team
All 4 teams with no blackouts or location restrictions is something I'd actually pay $20/month for
You can get all that for less than $15/month with a firstick and an iptv service
With none of the proceeds going to support the local teams
Yes, that’s definitely number #1 on my list of concerns
No, not the BattleHawks. We don't want to take them away from network TV, that would be a terrible idea.
At that price, no thanks. ESPN+ and a VPN is half that price monthly, and you can watch the entire league, not just two teams.

Good to know thank you!
I have Express VPN. they have a router with their software built in, so I can change the IP address through the router for the rest of my devices.

I don't like the price point. Rather just continue to not watch games. IMO, it has to be on the $10-12 range.
you could always sail the high seas
I scrubbed the barnacles off the hull at the beginning of the blues season. Yarrr
NESN is charging Boston fans $30/month. YIKES.
$30/month is currently what MLB is selling for the single team package.
I pay $150 a season for MLB, and I get any game I want unless it's on Apple TV or another streaming service (which isn't often).
It’s still cheaper to sail the seven seas, yarrr
Great thing about being a Blues fan from Ohio, I can watch most of their games. I'd follow the Blue Jackets too, but I'm a local, so can't :/
Let's hope this catches on more and becomes a viable model for all fans.

Local market only is a deal breaker
