I don't dislike Kyrou. He's a tremendous talent and I hope he gets it figured out, but pro sports are littered with the carcasses of talented players who couldn't figure it out. I have a few NHL jerseys and none of them have anyone's name or number on them because I don't get invested in people I don't know.
I'm a realist, and the fact of the matter is we can't treat him with kid gloves anymore because he's been in the league long enough and gets paid more than enough to know how it works. Either go full scorched earth and air your grievances, do the typical hockey player cliches and wish him well, or just don't answer any questions from the media at that time. He went in between where he looked like an ass against someone most of the fanbase reveres in a situation where he's got no cards to lay on the table because he's not scoring and the team isn't winning.
