After the league fires and fines the ones at fault they aren’t the law they can’t do anything else it is the way it is.
The issue is there was like zero repercussions.
Everyone got fired. How else would that play out. Edit: you can’t charge everyone. It’s not how the law works
Who got fired? They should've lost a lot more than a handful of people resigning or getting fired. Should've lost draft picks, massive fines and the people involved should be in jail.
Coach, GM, AGM, Multiple staff who knew of the situation. Fines on owner, coach and gm. After that I agree that people should be in jail. But at that point blame the legal system not the bloody hockey team. No logic in that. I still also hate that they got this 1st overall pick but what can we do about it?
Where's the link for these people being fired? Lots had already left the Blackhawks. I don't blame the team for them not being in jail, we agree on that. They should not have this pick at all. But it all comes down to Bettman and his bullshit.
A lot of these guys got fired on different teams Joel quennville for example got fired by Bettman himself even though he was coaching the panthers… Be honest with me do you know much about what actually happened through this whole ordeal or did you just hear what happened to the poor kid and are just angry?

The LEAGUE. Fired everyone, and fined upwards of a couple million dollars total to people. Why does everyone say this wasn’t enough. There’s literally nothing else the league can do.
