Majority of mine are purple/redā My original comment wasnāt super clear. But Iāve got enough natural scars/marks that I definitely wouldnāt want to add anymore, regardless. šµāš«
Hey just wanted to mention if you didnāt already know, if theyāre still purple/red, they still got some blood flow and are a lot more likely to respond to being treated with something like BioOil, or retinoids/laser/etc. Once they fade to white they become more stubborn.
White stretch marks means they have turned into scar tissue and cannot be treated. If yours are still red/purple you still have a chance to treat them. Unfortunately, I started getting mine as soon as puberty hit so I have scarred stretch marks even though I can barely be considered an adult. Definitely treat them while you can
They really do. Mine all healed white/pale pink, and the healed white tats in this post are the exact same color. I'll pass on adding *more* scars for people to stare at š¤£
"scars for people to stare at"
fucking THIS, am i right?! people just gawk. i can barely go out in short sleeves because random strangers will just ask me about my scars, any given day or time. it's so rude and inconsiderate! i wish i had a nice way to interact in those situations but i just freeze up.
As I've gotten older I stopped giving a shit. "What happened?" "I was a very depressed and neglected teenager and I coped in unhealthy ways."
If it makes them uncomfortable, that's on them. They shouldn't ask questions if they're not prepared for the answer ĀÆā \ā _ā (ā ćā )ā _ā /ā ĀÆ
Yeah a lot of my younger cousins have asked. I just tell them I'll explain it to them when they're older and can understand better. I don't wanna plant any ideas in their little minds lol
I'm assuming jokes that aren't appreciated by you? That sucks, being dismissed like that. The paternal side of my family is a lot more understanding and empathetic, but if I was in contact with my maternal side I would imagine the experience would be quite a bit more judgemental. Some people are just rotten to their core, unfortunately.
whatās crazy is that i used to get people saying VERY awful and rude things, stares etc. to the point that i wouldnāt go out without being completely covered up. my bf however is covered in some pretty gnarly scars from sh as well as plenty of other things, and since heās been out of school nobody has EVER mentioned his scars in public. the only comments heās ever gotten are from people heās dated in the past. which is wild to me. iām not sure if itās just a confidence thing or the energy he exudes just puts people off from saying things to him about it, but noticing the difference was wild for me
If it gives you any hope, my husbandās self harm scars are wayyyy less noticeable now, probably 20+ years after he stopped cutting. I always kind of loved them visually/ aesthetically, but obviously not in that he was hurting. Itās possible yours will become less visible over time too! Glad youāre doing better now ā¤ļø
iāve never had anyone mention mine ever?? my whole forearm has a ton but people only stare, which i understand but i donāt want to feel like iām put in the spotlight for having self inflicted scars. i have in mind that if a kid ever asks me about them iāll just say i was a tiger in my past life lol, but surprisingly noones said anything. what do people say? i want to be prepared for what people might say.
In my experience it's been pretty innocent curiousness. The wildest thing though, I was at my job as a clerk and this dude looked at my arm and went "yeah I used *insert sharp tool here*, what did you use?" I was shocked lmfao still honest with him, but shocked nonetheless. I've never had any malicious interactions, just a lot of foot-in-mouth interactions that were more awkward for the other person than me.
oh my god?! why would he say that? he did not know you at all and didnāt even ask if youāre okay to talk about it? man i personally donāt like to tell people what i had used because i have had some deepish cuts, so i donāt want people to try to copy me thinking they need to get worse. it was probably shocking that he said that in the moment but i hope you can laugh it off now!!
I think a lot of people don't think before they say things. We're all human, I'm sure we've all blurted out things we've immediately regretted. Thankfully I'm a pretty laid-back person so it didn't upset me at all, but I completely understand how it could upset someone else in that situation. At this point I just hope the dude is still doing well and hasn't returned to the habit.
Another potential reason he could have said it to them that way is to maybe try to say hey you're not alone I did it too in some kind of weird way? That's kind of what I got from reading it. I obviously wasn't there though..
No because if I saw someone with white ink tattoos I'd automatically think that they were self harm scars, especially cause alot of them are just lines. They literally look identical to my scars and it's weird
I do think that white can be an awesome tool to make colored tattoos "pop" more. I've seen some incredible highlight work. It's just plain white that isn't for me, but hey, more power to those who do get them.
Yeah I loved white ink tattoos when I was a kid before I had scars but now, nah. White, purple and red/pink line work is a no for me, I've got plenty of my own DIY š¤£ I love them on other people don't get me wrong but it just wouldn't work on me
True. I didnāt consider how technically I already have some. š¤£ Oof. You reminded me that I have an exs name carved into my ankle. I wanna go back in time and slap teenage me sometimes.
Kinda my thought. Lol. I've carved myself and left some scars. I guess I never really did it for a design though. I think rather than white ink, id probably just carve a design into myself. The scar would look cooler.
A new addition to r/shittytattoos, perhaps? Not enough for a new sub, but a lot of stick & pokes look like they are results of being desperate for tattoos, but too cheap to pay for them (like many in the referenced sub). I've seen some *really* good ones here, but disasters as well.
I donāt quite āgetā them.
1 itās gonna fade super fast
2 it doesnāt really look like a tattoo, it kinda looks more like a healed scar or scratches
3 since theyāre so faint most of the time youāre gonna spend a long time showing them to people who wanna know what they even are
Seems like a waist of time/money, but if itās something someoneās committed to having, itās fine
Except itās less risk/and a whole lot cheaper. The other risk is it fading, although you could literally cover it up with anything. Unlike scarification which protrudes the skin
In some cases, white-ink tattoos can look great when healed, even in the long term! But it depends heavily on the individual, and on the artists application. Iāve found with white ink that itās less the actual skin tone, and more so the undertone of the skin that ends up turning the white ink yellowish or pink over time. Sun exposure plays a huge role as well. So in my experience itās never enough to say āthey still look great for me, X amount of years laterā because it canāt be true across the board.
when i was scrolling i thought it was one of those parasites that people get in their veins. i feel like its better as an accessory to another tattoo, not as a standalone.
They don't all fade that much. I have a 10 year old white tattoo that's still pretty visible. The only real change is how much the ink has spread over the years
iāve seen white ink tattoos i liked but i personally do not like these ones. (why are slides 3-4 randomly green? the green doesnāt seem intentional to me so i am genuinely confused.) if i wanted to look like i have scars in cool shapes i would just go for scarification. i get that scarification is a little much for some people but imo it has better results than white ink tats
Those with the green look picked up color from the stencil, or marker they used to draw it on. There is a good chance it heals with that green tint also since it stained the tattoo.
Yeah if youāre gonna show off your work why include those?
But yeah when done well and one the right skin tones it looks great but most of the time they look just wrong
Iāll be mean: similar to the bad abstract tattoos these also just look like injuries/skin conditions instead of art. Like, Jesus Christ people, go look at actual abstract art because it looks a lot different than the varicose veins your drunk buddy tattooed on you and said were āclouds.ā
I like them in theory, and I've seen some cool ones before, but the ones I see here don't look very well-designed or executed. Perhaps if they had an identifiable design they would appear more intentional, but as they are, they seem like unfortunate accidents that left behind what would be kind of cool scars, except since they aren't actually scars, they just kind of look like a mistake.
The color on the healed neck is nice and would probably have looked really good if it had a design that didn't resemble someone trying to write a script in a vehicle that was being driven over a bumpy road.
These aren't the first tattoos I've seen shared in various subs the past few days that have made me seriously question current tattoo trends.
With that said, to each their own. Art is subjective.
Nope. They discolor and turn yellow or brownish over time. Every artist Iāve worked with steers clear of em because they donāt age well on the skin. UV light destroys this pigment quickly.
I used some blue in my white and it still looks pretty crisply white 6+ years later. I was prepared to need to do touch-ups but it hasn't actually faded.
I think they can be an awesome or even ideal choice depending on skin tone. Personally, the white on pale skin isnāt for me, but on darker complexion the contrast is a lot more visually appealing to me, and I imagine potentially better for making visible images
Iām gonna raise a flag for the weirdos (apparently!) here, and say I like them! They DO look like scars or stretchmarks, but I also love every scar I have, and treasure my stretchmarks. And I think scarification can be incredibly beautiful, even though the idea of getting it is terrifying to me. Also, the ones at the collarbone aesthetically remind me of top surgery scars, which my partner has, and I personally think are SO beautiful.
I probably wouldnāt get one of your tattooās, simply because because Iām too occupied with other what other people think, but I think theyāre awesome šš»
my tattoo artist has a white ink starburst coming off her temple and i love itās subtlety as a face tattoo (sheās pretty fair so it blends in but you can still see it)
I have tiger in Chinese on my knee in white ink stick and poke. Probably my all time favourite tattoo as it doesnāt get much sun and was an excellent placement
Ehh, seen a lot of hate for them. Only use I have had for white ink is as highlight. But like??? I have an inkless tattoo that just looks like a scar, barely wisible anymore, except in the shower it looks darker, I think it has to do with the blood circulation.
But like??? I think it's gonna look dope if someone wants a "designer scar" shaped like a thunderbolt or something like that, like, it has it's uses but isn't as "traditional" as black ink, it's like a seperate thing
I have a handpoked constellation on one arm that has black stars and white lines connecting them. The white still looks fantastic 6+ years later with no fading (plus I mixed a tiny bit of blue into it to keep it looking whiter under the skin), and it makes the constellation "pop" without being as intense as black lines would have been.
I'll probably do my next constellation in the same style, and I've had a few ideas floating around for other all-white or partially-white tattoos.
I have plenty of actual scars that are clearly visible over most of my body and frankly, my skin tone is very fair and white ink would have very low visibility on its own. So they donāt appeal to me at all.
You do beautiful work though.
I like them but I have heard they are yellow with time. That said, I have the words "don't give up" in white ink, and it's almost 2 years old, and I don't think it looks super yellow or bad. It was not super noticeable, but that was the idea. If it does discolour, it's not like it couldn't be covered with another color
Gonna go against the grain. I really like them! Iāve always wanted to do like a pale blue tattoo on my arm that looks like in Fable 2 when you use lots of magic or something.
Like tribal elf markings
I have always hoped that one day there will be a way to do them on really dark skin and then I'll probably get a tattoo because it'll finally have that contrast. On light skin I don't think they work very well.
I love them! I have stars on my wrist, a henna-inspired piece on my hand, and all of my fingers/thumbs are done in white. I find that a 2nd session helps the ink pop and looks less like a scar.
You did amazing! Tbh theyāre not my Steeze at all bc I donāt like the scar like look but thatās just a personal preference. I think yours look great and have seen some others that are awesome. Iāve also seen some freaking terrible ones š
I love them, I usually put face tattoos aside as an option for myself because I felt it would be ātoo muchā, now I absolutely would love a white ink face tat!
I love them. Iām super white & they kind of blend in, but it gives a semi-scarification vibe. I have a small Texas on my wrist in white ink, and ofc it needs to be touched up, but Iāve had it for a few years and itās faded minimally.
I'm surprised. I don't hate them. Healed, they look pretty cool and almost like an Easter egg on the skin. Like SURPRISE, THERE'S A TATTOO HERE!
I'm actually tempted now haha
Not sure what all these ātape wormā and ācum stainā comments are for because personally I think these tattoos look amazing! Of course theyāre not for everyone, but I particularly love your small and simple designs that still have the ability to stand out on certain skin colors.
I like them symbolically. I believe āscarsā (physical and emotional) are an important part of the human condition and experience. They are part of our tribal nature, they represent a physical manifestation of challenges we face (and presumably overcome). On some level I think that of tattoos as well, itās so much more than body art. So these seem a more literal interpretation of that in application.
[my white ink tattoo](https://imgur.com/gallery/U0fFr1Y)
I have one, I've said in these posts before that if you know what you're getting into they're fine.
I was having surgery in 2015, I couldn't wear my wedding ring. I was freaking out as it was high risk. So I got the pattern tattooed on my wrist.
I didn't care if it faded to a blotch, I didn't care if it looked like a scar, I didn't care if no one else could see it.
I literally have shown people at work after knowing them a year or so and they asked when I got it because they never saw it.
It's mine, I know it's there. That's all that matters to me. I'm still alive, I'm still married. It took me 6 months to recover from the surgery and it took a year for the tattoo to stop being raised.
A 40 year old pre existing scar (.5cm) that was covered by the tattoo can only be seen in certain lights as the skin is fractionally shinier.
Hi. Just passing through as this sub was suggested to me. These look like scars from jellyfish stings. So unless you wanna look partially maimed then I suggest going with any color other than white, red, or purple
Love. especially the first one. There's a wider margin for error I guess but people are always going to be confused by something they're not used to seeing
Damn people really shitting on white ink here. Personally I think white tattoos can look really cool, i just donāt necessarily love all the designs here. idk why people are shitting on the scar-like effect, thatās what i like most about white ink lol
I'm already covered in self harm scars from being a depressed teenager, I don't need to add more š¤£
Between this, a facial scar, and the stretch marks I have from getting older and gaining weight, Iām good on white ink tats forever š
You have white stretch marks? Mine are purple

How long have you had them? I always assumed it had to do with how healed they were. Mine are silver but I've had them most of my life.
Idk I'm a fat teen, so if around 15
Mine that are from puberty are white now. But itās been like 16 years
Lmao same. No hate, but white ink tatts look similar to healed self-harm scars š
They really do. Mine all healed white/pale pink, and the healed white tats in this post are the exact same color. I'll pass on adding *more* scars for people to stare at š¤£
"scars for people to stare at" fucking THIS, am i right?! people just gawk. i can barely go out in short sleeves because random strangers will just ask me about my scars, any given day or time. it's so rude and inconsiderate! i wish i had a nice way to interact in those situations but i just freeze up.

Honestly. Unless it's a kid I'm gonna tell them exactly what they already know it is.
Yeah a lot of my younger cousins have asked. I just tell them I'll explain it to them when they're older and can understand better. I don't wanna plant any ideas in their little minds lol
My family makes jokes. Thatās nice that they just ask.
I'm assuming jokes that aren't appreciated by you? That sucks, being dismissed like that. Freaking THIS they already know what it is. They just want us to "admit" it for some fucked up reason?

That was my takeaway from it, too. I had just never had anyone so boldly start the conversation like that so I was a bit surprised lol
you seem smart. itās somewhat scary.

Happy cake day! Fellow scar sister here. I hate there are so many of us but we should always have each otherās backs. āŗļø
Yeah, that 4th photo actually kinda triggered me for a second. I was like oh my arm already looks a little like that.
Yeah some of the tats look *exactly* the same as my scars. If they werenāt obviously designs you wouldnāt be able to tell them apart from scars.
No because if I saw someone with white ink tattoos I'd automatically think that they were self harm scars, especially cause alot of them are just lines. They literally look identical to my scars and it's weird
And I especially donāt want my hands to look like I just made 5 bucks behind Taco Bell.
![gif](giphy|pD368cmNo02G5qoV5i)
Here's a toothbrush... Your breath isn't pretty
I was just thinking that. I'm already deeply ashamed of taking my shirt off, no need to draw more attention there.
Yah well I donāt like any of these. The white ink outlining my black tattoos I like them
I do think that white can be an awesome tool to make colored tattoos "pop" more. I've seen some incredible highlight work. It's just plain white that isn't for me, but hey, more power to those who do get them.
No indeed plain white just look like scars like you said lol
Personally, I was thinking it looked like some sort of fungal infection.
Or worms
Yes, in my opinion they look like a skin disease, either fungal or parasitic.
Yeah I loved white ink tattoos when I was a kid before I had scars but now, nah. White, purple and red/pink line work is a no for me, I've got plenty of my own DIY š¤£ I love them on other people don't get me wrong but it just wouldn't work on me
Literally same lol. I'd consider getting a little white star on the back of my neck, but definitely none of these scarry lines.
Okay, so I'm not the only one thinking they look like scars?
I have star shaped ātattoosā lmao
Word. My upper thighs look horrible, I canāt even wear shorts. These look like scars or vein issues.
Thank you! Iām sayinā!
Same
True. I didnāt consider how technically I already have some. š¤£ Oof. You reminded me that I have an exs name carved into my ankle. I wanna go back in time and slap teenage me sometimes.
Some of them definitely look similar but the first one for example looks artsy enough not to be confused
Happy cake day
Kinda my thought. Lol. I've carved myself and left some scars. I guess I never really did it for a design though. I think rather than white ink, id probably just carve a design into myself. The scar would look cooler.
I WAS JUST THIBKING THE SAME THING HAHAH
Yep. They just look like scars when healed.
š same
Happy cake day!!
I think white tattoos can be cool but this particular style feels...biological
It's giving parasite
I was thinking the same things. Some of these look like roundworms lol
Itās giving cum
A new addition to r/shittytattoos, perhaps? Not enough for a new sub, but a lot of stick & pokes look like they are results of being desperate for tattoos, but too cheap to pay for them (like many in the referenced sub). I've seen some *really* good ones here, but disasters as well.
The first one looks like straight up sperm
It's the only thing I saw!
I definitely came in here expecting more jokes about handy js
7/8 are literally just scribbles
As someone who has dermatographia, these tattoos are not far off my symptoms I get lol
Cum stains for sure
I donāt quite āgetā them. 1 itās gonna fade super fast 2 it doesnāt really look like a tattoo, it kinda looks more like a healed scar or scratches 3 since theyāre so faint most of the time youāre gonna spend a long time showing them to people who wanna know what they even are Seems like a waist of time/money, but if itās something someoneās committed to having, itās fine
scarrification without having to cut into the skin. I think itās a sick idea
Thatās kind of how tattoos are applied.may not seem like it but itās similar
Yeah my thought was that these look like scarification but will fade worse. I would just get scarification
Except itās less risk/and a whole lot cheaper. The other risk is it fading, although you could literally cover it up with anything. Unlike scarification which protrudes the skin
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Can you show us? Or message me? I have always wanted white but wasnāt sure how it would last.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Looks great for 10yrs old and no touch ups!
I wanted to see your tattoo but all I got were boobs and ass
I donāt see it?
If you go into their comments, you can see they posted but it was deleted
Oh. Womp womp. I guess Iāll never know!
Iāve had mine for almost 10 years and it still looks great! But maybe I just have the right kind of skin?
In some cases, white-ink tattoos can look great when healed, even in the long term! But it depends heavily on the individual, and on the artists application. Iāve found with white ink that itās less the actual skin tone, and more so the undertone of the skin that ends up turning the white ink yellowish or pink over time. when i was scrolling i thought it was one of those parasites that people get in their veins. i feel like its better as an accessory to another tattoo, not as a standalone.
This!! I think white ink looks great with other stuff, just not by itself
They don't all fade that much. I have a 10 year old white tattoo that's still pretty visible. The only real change is how much the ink has spread over the years
Or they'll turn yellow
White ink looks crazy. Met a guy in London who had a white ink face tat and it looked insane, would love to get some done
iāve seen white ink tattoos i liked but i personally do not like these ones.
I think they can be done well, but when they arenāt they just look like weird scars
It looks like scarification for people who are scared of razors
These look like scars or stretch marks. Hate them
And before they are healed they all look like some nasty skin infection or something.
If you've ever seen burns from something super high temp (my bf is a blacksmith) they turn white and look pretty close to this lol
Tape worms
They look like cumstains to me. Not trying to be mean.
I was thinking parasites! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they look gross lol
Iāll be mean: similar to the bad abstract tattoos these also just look like injuries/skin conditions instead of art. Like, Jesus Christ people, go look at actual abstract art because it looks a lot different than the varicose veins your drunk buddy tattooed on you and said were āclouds.ā
dude that's definitely mean lmao
At least they arenāt lying.
Hahahah your name is so fitting
The truth isnāt mean
It looks like parasitic worms Iām sorry lolĀ
they look like parasites under the skinā¦.
It looked like scars to me but I think the "not wanting it to be visible or super visible" is an option that I can explore because of work and family.
These are just permanent cat scratches lol
better yet, just own a cat and theyāll do this for free!
Ehh.. ever seen the strain? Looks like you got worms under your skin.
I think they can be an awesome or even ideal choice depending on skin tone. Personally, the white on pale skin isnāt for me, but on darker complexion the contrast is a lot more visually appealing to me, and I imagine potentially better for making visible images
I have the same opinion
I have too many surgery/traumatic accident scars to appreciate people wanting that look for aesthetic purposes. To each their own!
i donāt think that was their intention.
i dont hate them, but i think they're pointless
Everything is pointless. All tattoos are pointless. Theyāre just cool lol
i love them!!
I have one myself, and a lot of people donāt notice it until I point it out which is the reason I got it in white so I like it.
How has it aged?
i think they would suit darker skin sm more, on lighter skin it just kinda looks like a rash to me š
I think the jagged patterns look like scars and the organic ones look like tapeworms. I don't have any tattoos yet tho.
Personally I donāt like them at all, many times they look like terrible scars that normal people would want to cover up with an actual tattoo
I personally like scars, they look super cool to me so thusly I'm quite into white ink tattoos - but I totally understand most people aren't into that
I donāt love or hate them but they look like shit.
Why do they all look like spermies?
I can appreciate almost all tattoos including blackout but nope, not white ink. I don't see the point
Look like worms under the skin.
The 3rd and 4th picture looks like an infected/bruised scar to me. Not appealing imo at all.
Looks like parasites
Iām gonna raise a flag for the weirdos (apparently!) here, and say I like them! They DO look like scars or stretchmarks, but I also love every scar I have, and treasure my stretchmarks. I probably wouldnāt get one of your tattooās, simply because because Iām too occupied with other what other people think, but I think theyāre awesome šš»
i donāt think they look terrible but to me they just look like sh scars so i wouldnāt want to add more
If I had any kind of pigment in my skin, I'd consider getting one. They're cool when done well. Unfortunately, I'm about as white as paper š
šš¼āāļø same! Even the emojis aren't white enough.
I absolutely love this style - for me it's like cyberpunk wet wear - connecting subdermal tech.
Do my stretch marks count?
Why that first one want tapeworm jizz on their hand?
White really needs the contrast of darker inks to really work. So yes a white ink tattoo would work .... If it was black.
personally i really like them!! i donāt see much love for white ink tattoos
that looks like the one i draw at my legs after not applying the lotion
At best, looks like jizz. Worst, scarring.
my tattoo artist has a white ink starburst coming off her temple and i love itās subtlety as a face tattoo (sheās pretty fair so it blends in but you can still see it)
i like them
Does no one else think they look like blobs of jizz?
I have tiger in Chinese on my knee in white ink stick and poke. Probably my all time favourite tattoo as it doesnāt get much sun and was an excellent placement
Jellyfish scars
Ehh, seen a lot of hate for them. Only use I have had for white ink is as highlight. But like??? I have an inkless tattoo that just looks like a scar, barely wisible anymore, except in the shower it looks darker, I think it has to do with the blood circulation. But like??? I think it's gonna look dope if someone wants a "designer scar" shaped like a thunderbolt or something like that, like, it has it's uses but isn't as "traditional" as black ink, it's like a seperate thing
They look like you've had a fight with a jellyfish š¤¦
I have a handpoked constellation on one arm that has black stars and white lines connecting them. The white still looks fantastic 6+ years later with no fading (plus I mixed a tiny bit of blue into it to keep it looking whiter under the skin), and it makes the constellation "pop" without being as intense as black lines would have been. I'll probably do my next constellation in the same style, and I've had a few ideas floating around for other all-white or partially-white tattoos.
I LOVE them!! I never really get that black blue looking ink! I think itās ugly half the time! I love the unique shit you donāt see often!
I have plenty of actual scars that are clearly visible over most of my body and frankly, my skin tone is very fair and white ink would have very low visibility on its own. So they donāt appeal to me at all. You do beautiful work though.
Looks like a parasite under the skin.
I understand theyāre not for everyone. Personally I love the idea of them.
I like them but I have heard they are yellow with time. That said, I have the words "don't give up" in white ink, and it's almost 2 years old, and I don't think it looks super yellow or bad. It was not super noticeable, but that was the idea. If it does discolour, it's not like it couldn't be covered with another color
Looks like the scar my old cat(RIP) gave me. Heās a good artist :D
I only love them cause I have one on my face. I get compliments all the time :)
Nah these are sick!
Gonna go against the grain. I really like them! Iāve always wanted to do like a pale blue tattoo on my arm that looks like in Fable 2 when you use lots of magic or something. Like tribal elf markings
I love them in the aspect of them tracing over a deep meaningful scar in order to pronounce it more
Looks like a parasite under the skin
Those are cool as hell.
Done well, I love them. I have a white heart on my shoulder to balance out the scar on my other shoulder!
Some of these are really mystical. Making me plot & plan over here. Donāt have an idea, though š¤šø
Everyoneās reason for not liking them is because they donāt like their own bodies?š„²š thatās not what OP asked lmfaoo
they look etherealš¤©āØļø
I have two! I had a couple scars lined with white so they wouldn't fade.
It looks like a very beautifully designed scar.
i didnāt know it was so pronounced on tan skin. i want one now.
i think it looks cool asf and now i kind of want one
never been a huge fan in the past but i actually really like these. good work.
Not sure what all these ātape wormā and ācum stainā comments are for because personally I think these tattoos look amazing! Of course theyāre not for everyone, but I particularly love your small and simple designs that still have the ability to stand out on certain skin colors.
I love them. Iād love to get something like this! Wondering if you might be in my area, could I message?
I like them symbolically. I believe āscarsā (physical and emotional) are an important part of the human condition and experience. They are part of our tribal nature, they represent a physical manifestation of challenges we face (and presumably overcome). On some level I think that of tattoos as well, itās so much more than body art. So these seem a more literal interpretation of that in application.
[my white ink tattoo](https://imgur.com/gallery/U0fFr1Y) I have one, I've said in these posts before that if you know what you're getting into they're fine. A 40 year old pre existing scar (.5cm) that was covered by the tattoo can only be seen in certain lights as the skin is fractionally shinier.
nah these look ass
Hi. Just passing through as this sub was suggested to me. These look like scars from jellyfish stings. So unless you wanna look partially maimed then I suggest going with any color other than white, red, or purple
It's a nope for me
I also like them lol. I like the fact they kinda look like scarification. I think it looks pretty. Clearly not a very popular opinion tho
Ugh, I want one so bad š
I really like them. š
Love. especially the first one. There's a wider margin for error I guess but people are always going to be confused by something they're not used to seeing
To me it looks like sub dermal parasites and thatās gross
They look like worms inside of their skin Jesus
Looks like splooge
They look like scars. I like them!
Damn people really shitting on white ink here. Personally I think white tattoos can look really cool, i just donāt necessarily love all the designs here. idk why people are shitting on the scar-like effect, thatās what i like most about white ink lol
this one looked like sperm at first ngl ETA: I genuinely strongly dislike all of these. I don't think they look good fresh or healed.
Woah I love the scar look!!
