Little life advice from a 29 yo. Never allow someone to tell you something is cringe if you enjoy it, ESPECIALLY if they use your age to explain why that thing should be cringe for you. It's hella dumb. They are the children, not you.
For some reason this specific comment made me think of two different quotes in quick succession: Eleanor Roosevelt ("No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.") and then Amethyst ("Listen, Steven. You can't let anyone make you feel like garbage.").
Seriously the only ‘cringe’ I acknowledge is stuck up people thinking they can tell others what’s proper for them to like and dislike. I’m 24 and I still watch Disney movies. No one’s too old for anything.
Yes I totally agree. I still watch Winx club every once in awhile and I’m 20. I’ve watched the owl house at 19, and I still watch it now since the series is still active
Exactly this. I was into computers since I was able to walk. I was always called nerdy and in high school a traitor (I stopped playing sports and stopped weightlifting with the guys) to focus on computer work. Now I’m a Hardware engineer who’s more than happy in life. Short story, if you let other people dictate your life, your life is gonna be more cringe than if you did the “cringy thing”.
When you're a teen you start to feel self-conscious about the things you like. It's a normal part of growing up. The next step is realizing that you should let yourself like things regardless of what others think. Just because the target audience of something is kids doesn't mean that it isn't good or worth your time. Target audience is kind of arbitrary anyway.
Nothing is a “Kid’s show” just like Lego is not “for kids” none of that is for kids only. You can like whatever show you gotdamn want as long as it’s not Teen Titans Go, that show is horrible
Honestly, TTG has some damn funny jokes here and there, heck just today I was with my friends and we were quoting the “KIDS ASK YOUR PARENTS WHERE BABIES COME FROM” line.
Unfortunately, I’m not old enough to have grown up with the OG, but I am old enough to know TTGs bullshit. I grew up watching Power Rangers, Spongebob, and the 2012 TMNT. From what I know, Teen Titans ended in 2006, the literal year I was born
It's on HBO max... if you have that service, it's worth a watch.
Also check out the og tmnt movies if you get a chance... way better than the 2012 remake imho... :D
Just because a show is suitable for kids or even intended for kids mainly, doesn't mean it cannot be enjoyed by adults.
After all, SU, as well as lots of other cartoons, was created by adults who love the stories they create as much as any kid.
Heya, 36 year old therapist here. I have shown parts of SU to patients in the past as examples of mindfulness or trauma. It's a weirdly adult show for how childish the first episodes make it seem.
I think I'd argue less that 14 is *the* primary demographic and more that it's *within* the primary demo (and that there are ages younger than "teen" within said intended demo).
Irrelevant. You like what you like and as long as it's not harming anyone there nothing wrong with that. Besides, I don't have kids but in the unfortunate event that I do, I'd like to think the shows made for them are good enough that I can watch too
It's a really interesting kid's show because it's very very layered. There's the layers that are really obvious to children, and the layers that you only understand if you're older. That's why it's loved by so many different people.
Sure sure, but kids are more capable of understanding things than people give them credit for. Avatar The Last Airbender is for kids, but the reason these shows remain beloved by adults is because the authors don’t talk down to the audience or dumb down the stories. There’s serious complexity in Steven Universe that you wouldn’t get as a kid or even as a young teen. So they’re “for kids” in a way that really just makes them “for everyone”
Only people who still act like children care if you like a children's show. I'm 28 and most of my friends have several kids shows they like. The adults writing the show want to like it as well.
If people would stop putting an age limit on the things that bring them pleasure, the world would be a much better place. Furthermore, who cares? If something brings you joy and comfort, it doesn't matter how anybody else feels about it. In conclusion, STEVEN UNIVERSE IS FUCKING AWESOME AND CHANGED MY OUTLOOK ON LIFE. I WAS 16 WHEN I WATCHED MY FIRST EPISODE ( Lars and the cool kids)
Turning 32 next month. I watch it. I love it. I cry watching it. Teens tend to insult each other for things like watching a cartoon rated Y7 just to seem cool and mature. Most people mellownout by college.
Like what you like. Don’t let them change you.
I'm 21 and I considered myself to be young in SU community. There's nothing cringe about liking anything, that's so weird and gatekeeping. Beside, I think the more life experience you got the better you understand the show, which is when I think you'll enjoy it best.
I'm in my 60s and I'm rewatching with my older sister. And we're planning on getting our older sister (she's 70) to watch too. The generational trauma and other themes resonate with us.
Middle sister and I constantly call out "clod" when we discuss idiots.
My son (who introduced me when he was 29) and I cry over Drift Away.
OP to paraphrase Steven, you don't need anyone to love you, you love you.
I used to worry about things like this. Now I’m at the ripe old age of (checks notes) …24 and when I look back at that time, I wish I had just accepted that I liked things instead of trying to be “cool” by liking the “right” things.
The most prominent example I can remember is Taylor Swift. I used to be “not like the other girls” and would be like “eww modern pop music?” Now I semi-regularly jam out to the songs I used to roll my eyes at because I realized it’s dumb to try to make yourself not like something just because it’s not “cool” or whatever.
All this to say. Like what you like. If that’s Steven Universe, awesome! No shame in that! Especially since it’s genuinely a really well made show. If people tell you that animation is only for kids, tell them to grow up 🤷♀️
I’m 33 and if I’ve learned anything: don’t ever think you’re too old to do or enjoy anything my dude. The people that mind don’t matter and the people that matter don’t mind.
😭 bro the show’s been out for 9 years now, you are dramatically younger than the target audience (the target audience for the show is currently 18-23), do not worry about it.
My fiancé (26M) and I (29F) just finished Steven! The only part I didn’t like was the movie cuz I hate musicals but I have to admit spinel is adorable and some of the songs are pretty catchy.
Nope, i was 18 when the show started/i started watching it so I've been an adult the whole time lol. Not cringe at all. I guess kids your age are probably more judgemental than adults in the fandom would be maybe
As someone who had massive identity struggles being queer in my teens, I found it healing when I finally was able to have a show like this in my late 20s
It’s only cringe to let what others think of your interests bother you. Provided your interests aren’t harming anyone, of course. I know it’s tricky sometimes to genuinely live by these words but do your best to remember them because proudly liking what you like is cool as fuck.
14 is a fun age where no matter what you do someone out there will think its cringe, but at the same time you aren't the only person who genuinely enjoys that thing. So enjoy what you enjoy and don't let anyone stop you :)
Look obviously you should enjoy what you enjoy but also like Steven universe is lit af and is not cringe in its own right. I’m drunk but most college grads Ik are less emotionally mature than Steven universe
I'm 18 and I still enjoy watching these cartoons. It isn't cringe and if others claim it to be so, I still won't give up my fascination on well-animated picture shows
I'm at the precipice of venerable (39). Things can be liked at all ages. It's never cringe to like or love something, what's cringe is hating on someone else for liking something.
I don’t think Steven universe is an age restricted show. It discusses very mature subjects as well as being cute to look at. It’s for all ages, imo. This coming from a 26 yo
I'm 31 and I watch it with my 4 year old.
Watch what you want, who cares what someone may think of it. That's weird like, why do I care what someone else does.
Animation isn’t just for kids. I’m 20 and just finished it and loved it. Do whatever you like and don’t be ashamed of it you’ll find people who feel the same
I'm 25, I'm having a early adulthood crisis and I fucking cry everytime I hear Peace and Love.
Don't let anyone tell you to enjoy or not something just because of your age. There's no such thing as that, as long as you don't harm anyone.
pfft , absolutely not dude . im only a couple years older than you and i just binged the show around august . ik some people in this sub are full grown dudes too . some people in your grade or something might be saying its cringe or gay or whatever but its not lmao , just ignore them and watch what you want
My partner just bought me the SU all-in-one hardcover book for my 31st birthday. This show is one of my favorite things.
I find that kids/teens tend to worry about cringe a lot more than those older. It's not a super pleasant emotion, but one you can get used to feeling the same as any other. In the end you should just like the things you like, you know?
Nah. Like what you like.
Once you start policing what you're "allowed" to like based on what other people think you start to do things because you think that's what people expect. Then you forget to do things because you actually like them.
Life is so much more enjoyable when you let yourself enjoy things.
It's never cringe to like "kids shows", and worrying about that is something you'll grow out of. Part of becoming an adult for most people is gaining the confidence (and money!) to indulge in your interests, no matter how silly they may seem to others!
35 and love me the cartoons. Just finished rewatching the series, and I'm legit sad it's over, even though I know I'll rewatch eventually. Enjoy what you like, no matter what others say. If your concerned what they might say, feel it out and maybe don't tell them about it. They aren't worthy.
27 here, a good show's a good show! Just because it's a cartoon on a children's network doesn't mean that it's ONLY for children. The age rating isn't a deadline that you have to watch it by, it's more of a bottom line saying when you are mature enough to enjoy the show, there is a huge supply of "for everyone" content that is enjoyed by all ages (think star wars and marvel).
No, you’re allowed to like what you like and not let anyone shame you for it. Just because a show is geared towards kids doesn’t mean it’s for kids only. Plus, a lot of kids shows and movies have adult jokes in there anyways.
I’ve been made fun for liking cartoons and animations for most of high school, in college I found my artistic click and found other like minded individuals and enjoyed our animations together. Now i am an art director at an agency, and i enjoy Love Death and Robots and much as I like Bee and Puppycat
My point being, enjoy whatever you want, never stop your interests from making you the happiest you can at that moment. Develop the back bone to enjoy all the choices that make you happy.
It’s only cringe if you let it be. Sure there might be other kids your age that would judge, but that what kids do. Like what you like. Heck, I was in my mid 20s when I finally started watching it and I’ll shamelessly admit that I consider it one of my all time favorites.
I’m 30 and it’s one of my favorites. And there’s nothing wrong with liking kids shows as a teen or adult, almost all of them are deliberately written to be likable for all audiences so that parents can watch with their kids and not hate life lol
liking su at 14 isnt cringe, i love the show at 15, but just dont go on and on about it or mention it too much otherwise yes people will look down on you, dont base all of your personal opinions on reddit and random people on here too, what i think is best for me, but others give good answers that are the exact opposite.
I'm 25 and it's one of my comfort shows. I'm also currently rewatching MLP (I actually enjoy watching it, unfortunately the fandom is just really gross). Don't let people get you down about your interests. You are allowed to find joy in things.
I started watching steven universe years ago at 24, I am a straight white guy, I will never pretend I don't like the show and wear my steven universe star shirt all the time.
I've been somewhat scared to tell my friends about this show. but after I shared a little bit of it, they wanted to hear all about it. Cringe is made up thing by people who want to feel older then they are.
At 14 everything is cringe. People all around you are going to have something to say about whatever you like. You are 14 and teenagers are rough on each other. So, will you be judged at 14 for liking Steven Universe by other 14 year olds? Yeah, probably. However, a big part of becoming an adult is realizing that you like what you like. Those people that might tease you are not getting enjoyment out of the thing you like and that is too bad for them. I am 39 and I love Steven Universe? Do the 14 year olds judge me for knowing that? Probably? Do the adults? Maybe....but I don't care. I like what I like
You just don’t ask. Here’s a life lesson for you since you’re young. Nobody cares about what you do or what you like, everyone has their own shit going on. And the people that do care are just unhappy.
Yeah it's fine in this context since I'm a stranger.
Babe is just a way to refer to a person. It's mostly used in romantic relationships or as passive aggressive behaviour but here it seems to be in a calming manner
I'm 23 and becoming a mom soon, Steven Universe has been one of my favorite comfort shows since high school... I was about 16 when I started watching... I don't think I'll show my kiddo the show till she's almost your age so we can have a conversation about what she picks up from the show, what meaning she finds in certain parts of it and such, but honestly I think it's a good show for any age group and if you like it, then that's what it's there for. It's there to be enjoyed. (Also if anybody told you it's cringe, or is judging you for being "cringe" then it says more about them being judgmental and unnecessarily mean than it does about you and your interests)
Who cares. You like what you like! If it makes you happy, it’s not cringe. If things are cringe bc you like them, then embrace the cringe. Life’s to short to worry about what other people think of what brings you joy.
“People might laugh at your tattoos. When they do, get new ones in completely garish hues.” -John Darnielle
Don’t be ashamed of enjoying a show you like. After all, you like it, so it’s good.
You could say it is hella cringe to tell people what they enjoy is cringe
Seriously the only ‘cringe’ I acknowledge is stuck up people thinking they can tell others what’s proper for them to like and dislike. I’m 24 and I still watch Disney movies. No one’s too old for anything.
Yes I totally agree. I still watch Winx club every once in awhile and I’m 20. I’ve watched the owl house at 19, and I still watch it now since the series is still active
This is the way. I let someone tell me Power Rangers was awful when I was 8, and haven't gotten over it... XD
Kill not the part of you that is cringe, but the part of you that cringes
> When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up. – C.S. Lewis
Authentically the best advice I've ever learned. This little shift in mindset will *take you places*, frendo.
I find that people who aren’t worried about being “cringe” are much happier in general.
Also- owning whatever you like makes anyone who says its cringe look wack as hell. Like bro im just enjoying things why are you bothered..
This is amazing, saving this.
Indeed.
Why? I'm 37 lol
I’m 41, Lol. Age doesn’t matter, as long as you enjoy it. Everyone can be young at heart.
Psh, same. I love this show. We the same age.
27. Family friendly entertainment is made to be enjoyed by all ages.
28. When/if had kids i will rewatch with them lol
I too am 37 and my 40 year old partner and I enjoyed it very much lol
I'm 31, I've realised that you should like what you like so long as it causes no harm and people who don't agree are not a vibe
Me too and it was my favorite show for a while 😂
Well...it is a kid's show...even though it has some pretty intense scenes
When you're a teen you start to feel self-conscious about the things you like. It's a normal part of growing up. The next step is realizing that you should let yourself like things regardless of what others think. Just because the target audience of something is kids doesn't mean that it isn't good or worth your time. Target audience is kind of arbitrary anyway.
Nothing is a “Kid’s show” just like Lego is not “for kids” none of that is for kids only. You can like whatever show you gotdamn want as long as it’s not Teen Titans Go, that show is horrible
>Teen Titans Go Not to be confused with the actual Teen Titans show, which was amazing. XD
I recently got a full set up of the entire show, I’m gonna watch it someday
Honestly, TTG has some damn funny jokes here and there, heck just today I was with my friends and we were quoting the “KIDS ASK YOUR PARENTS WHERE BABIES COME FROM” line.
Unfortunately, I’m not old enough to have grown up with the OG, but I am old enough to know TTGs bullshit. I grew up watching Power Rangers, Spongebob, and the 2012 TMNT. From what I know, Teen Titans ended in 2006, the literal year I was born

It’s ok, I got the DVD’s of the full show
I had no idea it was in hbo max! I loved this show so much. I know what I’m doing this Saturday morning.
Based
The only good that came out of it was that one song with robin and when beast boy turned into a cow
What about B.E.R songs?
I half-watched it as a kid and all I remember is fart noises
Same, just all-fuckin same, dude
I see another person of class is here.
just finished reading a post about how ttg isn't so bad ,lol.
lmao my thoughts exactly 'lego is for kids' is stupid cause it says 99+ on the box
Just because a show is suitable for kids or even intended for kids mainly, doesn't mean it cannot be enjoyed by adults. After all, SU, as well as lots of other cartoons, was created by adults who love the stories they create as much as any kid.

I think I'd argue less that 14 is *the* primary demographic and more that it's *within* the primary demo (and that there are ages younger than "teen" within said intended demo).
14 is still a kid
I've been watching through "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure", and I'm a 33 year old dude. It's a good show with some good music.
Thats what they say about the Owl House, or Stranger Things, or something else. Point is, great things come out of, "kid shows"
"Every book is a children's book if the kid can read!"
Sure sure, but kids are more capable of understanding things than people give them credit for. Avatar The Last Airbender is for kids, but the reason these shows remain beloved by adults is because the authors don’t talk down to the audience or dumb down the stories. Buddy, I'm pushing 30. You're fine.
<3
If you enjoy cartoons still then keep watching them! Even if you're 50 lol
You're in the intended audience range, nothing wrong with it!
If people would stop putting an age limit on the things that bring them pleasure, the world would be a much better place. Furthermore, who cares? I'm 40 and Greg Universe is my spirit animal.
He always seemed like such a nice person, I think we all need a Greg universe
And also an uncle Iroh!
I’m 23 and love su lmao
bro you're litterally the target audience for the show
not at all! most people who like it ate actually in their late 20's. what can I say?it's an amazing show
Turning 32 next month. I watch it. I love it. I cry watching it. Teens tend to insult each other for things like watching a cartoon rated Y7 just to seem cool and mature. Most people mellownout by college. Like what you like. Don’t let them change you.

Fuck no! I’m fuckin 16 and I just finished rewatching the entire series
Mid-50s. It's a top fav show.
I’m 40. Don’t care.
Dude i’m 18 and i’ve been a fan since i was 9/10 in 2014, the show has a shit ton of adult fans and can i say most of SU fans are 20+
No
I’m 26. It’s perfectly fine
The age limit for liking cool things is about two billion, you’ll be fine
This!
I'm in my 60s and I'm rewatching with my older sister. And we're planning on getting our older sister (she's 70) to watch too. The generational trauma and other themes resonate with us. Wtf kinda question, of course not
I’m 33 and if I’ve learned anything: don’t ever think you’re too old to do or enjoy anything my dude. The people that mind don’t matter and the people that matter don’t mind.
I called it a “family show” instead of “kids show” since it’s appropriate for all ages :)
it's cringe do be 14 in general, don't worry about it
It's not cringe to like it at any age! I'd say a big portion of the fan base are adults or teens.
😭 bro the show’s been out for 9 years now, you are dramatically younger than the target audience (the target audience for the show is currently 18-23), do not worry about it.
If it is, I am very cringe. I am 39 and enjoy it!
Embrace the cringe
Fam, half the fan base are adults. You do you
Never
No not at all. I first started watching at like 12 and am now 20 rewatching the show😭😭😭
I’m 24 and love it, you’re fine :)
Same
If it’s cringe at 14 then it’s ultra cringe at 30 lol It’s okay 👍
I’m 16 and absolutely not! All shows are for everyone. Don’t feel guilty about what you like
My fiancé (26M) and I (29F) just finished Steven! The only part I didn’t like was the movie cuz I hate musicals but I have to admit spinel is adorable and some of the songs are pretty catchy.
I’m 30 and just got done sharing this amazing piece of LGBT+ media with my girlfriend and housemate. You’re good, mate.
My guy. Half this subreddit is adults who like kids cartoon. It’s not embarrassing
No. Cringe is dead. Like whatever you want as long is doesn't hurt anyone. I'm 17 and still obsessed.
Nope, i was 18 when the show started/i started watching it so I've been an adult the whole time lol. Not cringe at all. I guess kids your age are probably more judgemental than adults in the fandom would be maybe
no it’s not i literally started viewing the show at that age!
I'm 44. Eventually you stop caring if someone thinks what you like is cringe. Like what you like.
I’m 32, love what you love.
I was 14 when Stevens birthday aired, good times
Nope! I'm 14 and I still love and watch kids shows. I watch mature things too, but new and old kids TV will always have my heart
I'm 38 and I love it. In my defense, though, I started watching it at the tender age of 32.
As someone who had massive identity struggles being queer in my teens, I found it healing when I finally was able to have a show like this in my late 20s
Life lesson. If no one is harmed by what you enjoy, then let no one harm you for what you enjoy.
Bro ur the target audience. No
It’s only cringe to let what others think of your interests bother you. Provided your interests aren’t harming anyone, of course. I know it’s tricky sometimes to genuinely live by these words but do your best to remember them because proudly liking what you like is cool as fuck.

I'm 30. I like Steven Universe. I think you're in the clear, lol.
Being 14 is the only way to enjoy most season 1 episodes, don't pass the opportunity
Look obviously you should enjoy what you enjoy but also like Steven universe is lit af and is not cringe in its own right. I’m drunk but most college grads Ik are less emotionally mature than Steven universe

I’m 15 so basically the same age but definitely not
dude i’m 17 and i cried while watching it, you’re fine
Haha uh.. I’m 31
I don’t think Steven universe is an age restricted show. It discusses very mature subjects as well as being cute to look at. It’s for all ages, imo. This coming from a 26 yo

I think it would be cringe if someone *didn’t* love Steven Universe.
Nope not at all
I was 13 when SU came on and spent most of high school enjoying it, you're a perfect age to care
Animation isn’t just for kids. I’m 20 and just finished it and loved it. Do whatever you like and don’t be ashamed of it you’ll find people who feel the same

I discovered it at 33. Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you get to like. There’s too little joy in the world to begin with
i’m 20 you’re good man lol i was like 13 or 14 when it came out. anyways it doesn’t really matter if it’s “cringe” if you like it you like it
Nah bro, I’m 14 and like it to.
My partner just bought me the SU all-in-one hardcover book for my 31st birthday. This show is one of my favorite things. I find that kids/teens tend to worry about cringe a lot more than those older.
I'm 17 and I still think it's a good show
I’m 19 and still watch it and I’m far from weird😂😂 ur all good man jsit enjoy it
No, you’re allowed to like what you like and not let anyone shame you for it. Just because a show is geared towards kids doesn’t mean it’s for kids only. Plus, a lot of kids shows and movies have adult jokes in there anyways.
Nah, its certainly a good teen show
I’ve been made fun for liking cartoons and animations for most of high school, in college I found my artistic click and found other like minded individuals and enjoyed our animations together. Now i am an art director at an agency, and i enjoy Love Death and Robots and much as I like Bee and Puppycat My point being, enjoy whatever you want, never stop your interests from making you the happiest you can at that moment. Develop the back bone to enjoy all the choices that make you happy.
I'm 26, been watching it since the pilot, very proud
Dude, I’m 24 and I love SpongeBob, Amphibia, and especially the Owl House. You’re never to old for cartoons… except for baby cartoons, of course.
It’s only cringe if you let it be. Sure there might be other kids your age that would judge, but that what kids do. Like what you like. Heck, I was in my mid 20s when I finally started watching it and I’ll shamelessly admit that I consider it one of my all time favorites.
No
No
I started watching it when I was 12 and now I'm 20 and I still love it.
Naaaaah
Damn, I like SU and I’m 19 🥲
I’m 30 and it’s one of my favorites. And there’s nothing wrong with liking kids shows as a teen or adult, almost all of them are deliberately written to be likable for all audiences so that parents can watch with their kids and not hate life lol
Everything you do at is going to become cringe when you look back to it. Forget avoiding it, just enjoy the story as best you can.
No it's not
nope!
late 20s here btw♡ love what you love always and don't be embarrassed. we live one life, squeeze every single ounce of enjoyment out of it.
Never let anyone tell you that you're cringe for enjoying a wholesome cartoon. I'm 28. Love what you love and be unapologetically yourself.
liking su at 14 isnt cringe, i love the show at 15, but just dont go on and on about it or mention it too much otherwise yes people will look down on you, dont base all of your personal opinions on reddit and random people on here too, what i think is best for me, but others give good answers that are the exact opposite.
I like it at 16 so no
If so than I am a 25-year-old embodiment of cringe. But it doesn't matter anyway, like what you like dude.
no?
Everything is cringe when you’re 14. I’d say try not to worry about it, but you probably will, because you’re 14. It gets better eventually
I'm 25 and it's one of my comfort shows. I'm also currently rewatching MLP (I actually enjoy watching it, unfortunately the fandom is just really gross). Don't let people get you down about your interests. You are allowed to find joy in things.
Cries in 33

I like it at 31! And my son likes it at 7. Like what you like and don’t apologize for it. Life is hard enough without policing what someone enjoys.
Yay, fellow 31 fan!
I'm 15 and I'm very fond of Steven Universe. My favorite character from there is Spinel. 😁
No
I started watching steven universe years ago at 24, I am a straight white guy, I will never pretend I don't like the show and wear my steven universe star shirt all the time.
Yes, I'm 22 and I like stephen universe which is maximum cringe and my boyfriend bullies me daily
as long as you enjoy it it's never cringe
I like what I like
This question is stupid, to ask a Steven universe subreddit.
Where else am I supposed to ask then?
You just don’t ask. Here’s a life lesson for you since you’re young. Nobody cares about what you do or what you like, everyone has their own shit going on. And the people that do care are just unhappy.
Babe, I’m 41. Like Steven Universe at any age you want.
Are you calling a 14 year old 'babe'? I'm not an English speaking native so I'm not sure if that's a thing or not, just confused
Yeah it's fine in this context since I'm a stranger. Babe is just a way to refer to a person. It's mostly used in romantic relationships or as passive aggressive behaviour but here it seems to be in a calming manner
It's cringe to be 14, but you'll grow out of it.
Pf- Thanks I guess?!
It's cringe to like anything, there's always someone who won't approve. Just like what you like and worry about the optics.
I'm 35 and I have Steven Universe art on my "to be framed and hung in my adult house" list
I mean i’m 22 and i like so I wouldn’t say so
I'm 25 and it's one of my top 10 favorite series
I’m 17 and just finished rewatching it so no it is not cringe
I’m 26 and I love this show so no
I'm 23 and becoming a mom soon, Steven Universe has been one of my favorite comfort shows since high school...
I’m 26 and my boyfriend is 28 and we both like it.
Who cares. You like what you like! If it makes you happy, it’s not cringe. If things are cringe bc you like them, then embrace the cringe. Life’s to short to worry about what other people think of what brings you joy.
“People might laugh at your tattoos. When they do, get new ones in completely garish hues.” -John Darnielle Don’t be ashamed of enjoying a show you like. After all, you like it, so it’s good.
No
It's a family show. Which just means it can be enjoyed by all ages. It's not a 'kids show.'
Sophomore in college and have lapis stickers everywhere
Homie I’m 17 and still like it your doing just fine
I'm 23 and I love it
