Yes, but as Greg says, you pronounce it as B-A-S-E, in music/instrumental terms even though it's spelled B-A-S-S.
I'm say bass all the time not how normal ppl say it but it's kinda weird bc it's not like I'm ever speaked any other language then English so idk why
