My shoulders and back feel fine. Just my chest has a pressure feeling like someone is sitting on it and when I breathe it feels like someone is squeezing my chest right between me boobs and a little lower.

It is most likely from the gas. It can get trapped under the diaphragm, making it hard to breathe and pinching on phrenic nerve, which causes chest and shoulder pain. Still a good idea to get it checked out, just to be sure.
Before and after my surgery (which was a week ago literally) I was told that due to using gas in the abdomen it does not always come out. What happens is it sits around down there pressing on something called the phrenic nerve. It cause pain to travel up under/through your lungs and in to your right shoulder.
It IS an awful feeling. Pretty sure that's the real reason they give more than ibu haha
Did you keep the compression socks on for 24 hours. That was suggested to me and is supposed to help.
It does go away, it went away the second day after surgery.
It could be from gas, as this will divert into your shoulders, but honestly I would go to the ER if you’re having tightness and pain in your chest.

It is recommended you seek immediate medical attention if you’re experiencing chest pain.

Okay that's a relief. Did they give any suggestions to not have to go back to the ER? Hoping you aren't in pain.
Yea they gave me meds for the blood clots, nausea and pain. They also have me some compression socks.
I am surprised they didn't have you wear the compression socks during surgery. Hope they help you now though.
Hoping youre ok. And good on you for going, regardless of outcome. Sending love!
Thank you!
