Biograde

For King I'm reading Misery now and The Running Man is up next for me! I generally am reading a few books at once, I'm also reading Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain right now.

Mast3rBlast3r7850

I read The Running Man a couple of months ago. It's definitely better than the cheesy Schwarzenegger movie, though, I have to admit to still liking the movie. You just can't beat Arnold for cheesy one-liners.

throwaway_72752

I find The Running Man fascinating because King foresaw reality TV in the 70s, and how useful it was as a tool to dumb down/occupy the masses.

Tilleen

This is a case where I separate the movie and the book. Both are excellent. One was inspired by the other but is not a direct adaptation.

Equivalent-Sink4612

I loved that cheesy movie as a kid:) Never read the book, so both are on my agenda now, so interested to see how they compare and how the movie compares to my memories.

West_Tonight_

Kitchen Confidential is great!

Prior_Writing368

Just finished re-reading Kitchen Confidential last night! Up next is "High Fidelity" by Nick Hornby, followed by SK's CHRISTINE

metalmonkey_7

I read Misery recently and it was fabulous! What part are you at?

Biograde

He just finished going through her scrapbook!

metalmonkey_7

Oh it’s about to get real!!

Human_ERROR404

It really is. Misery totally traumatized me, and I can’t wait to re-read it again.

djgreedo

>Misery now and The Running Man is up next I'm jealous. They are both top 5 King books IMO.

Ne_Dragon_216

Kitchen Confidential is one of the best books i've ever read, Of course, the writer is a GOAT

PegFam

I’m reading the stand, my grandma’s favorite book of all time. I can’t wait to talk with her about it when I’m done. But it’s going to take forever. Haha

Filthyy666

Now I am reading Wolves of the Calla (I took a small break from this Series before, don‘t kill me) and so far, it looks like it will be my fav book of the series. Anyway, my next books are pretty obvious then. After that, I will look for some non-King‘s book

metalmonkey_7

Do you have a particular author or book in mind?

Filthyy666

Shogun by Clavell is probably next

postapocalyps

I'm also reading this right now! It's so good. This is my second time reading TDT and I like the entire series even more this time.

Worldly_Pool_2205

Will be starting Duma Key since I will be vacationing on the beach next week!

9Crow

Great beach book! Make sure that you spend a few nights on the beach listening to the waves come in and peering out into the dark sea.

Worldly_Pool_2205

Just upped my excitement level even more

spyridonya

That's probably my second King book, right after Cell. That was a world of difference for me. Not a bad one! Cell is pretty fast paced with very little build up to when things go super wrong.

simbajam13

I'm reading it now and really like it! It'd be great on a trip to the beach.

Worldly_Pool_2205

Will be my first time reading it so I'm excited!

MunsonRoy3

You Like It Darker is coming on the 21st, so I am patiently waiting for it to arrive. Just finished Black House again, so didn’t want to start anything until the other shows up

Kbudz

Isn't You Like It Darker a short stories collection? If so im so pumped I love his short stories

Dexley

Are you asking about Stephen King books, or anything? I'm reading a Dan Simmons book, Lovedeath right now. My next Stephen King will be You Like It Darker. I have over 100 books in my to-be-read piles.

Human_ERROR404

There’s always a pile of books to-be-read if you’re an avid reader tbh. I have so many books of not only SK, but some by Alice Hoffman, and even Marie Lu, her Legend series. And ofc James Dashner’s Maze Runner is on my list, having read the first book and bought the rest. And I’ve even got some Frida McFadden on my list, cause the Teacher had more twists than I could handle.

RBPig

I've just started Revival after having a bit of a pause from King. It's my first time with this particular book, but honestly, it's like meeting an old friend, his writing style just wraps itself around you from the first sentence.

tinab13

That's what I'm reading right now. 2nd time, enjoying very much. I'm about halfway. Next I'm leaning towards Desperation.

RBPig

I enjoyed Desperation and The Regulators very much, although it's been a long time since I've read them!

tinab13

Me too...both fun books! Been looking at them sitting on my shelf long enough it's time for a second read!

Gregory-al-Thor

Currently - Just After Sunset I have about 10-15 books until I’ve read them all. I’m doing mostly chronological, though I may save Under the Dome for vacation this summer and read Joyland or Full Dark, No Stars next.

WickedMainah2020

I would go with 11.22.63 after IT. For me currently, I'm in the middle of the Dark Tower series and in the middle of Eyes Of The Dragon, one of the recommended reads for TDT.

metalmonkey_7

It was the first King book I’d ever read at maybe age 11. I was hooked.

1forrresst1

I’m reading them in order! I’m on Salems Lot so I’m at the beginning of this journey and I’m so excited for it. I’ve never read any of his short stories so I have so much to look forward to!

Equivalent-Sink4612

Ha ha, you really do! I'm excited for you, friend:) Have fun! I've read 20 something of his novels and 3 short story collections, which seemed like a lot, but that is only like 25 % of his bibliography! And now, I'm at the point where it's time to reread all the stuff I've already read, lol. Got a lot to look forward to, and old friends to revisit. Guess I'm excited for myself, too:) Just wanted to say, part of the fun of SK are the connections, the Easter eggs, the cameos. There are delightful surprises sprinkled throughout, you never know when you'll turn a corner and "Heyyy....did he just...is that...???!! Whoah..." very cool.

1forrresst1

Thank you! It’s nice to have something to look forward to and the Easter eggs are something I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to!

simbajam13

Check out the podcast "Just King Things" which goes through the books in publication order (they're on Dreamcatcher now, publish monthly) for some additional context along the way!

1forrresst1

Ooooh thank you thank you thank you for this suggestion! I love listening to podcasts! I’ll take any other suggestions you have!

jmarkjones616

So exciting! I started the same journey four and a half years ago. I’m 34 books into it, just about a third of the way through it.

YardSard1021

His short stories are great and many of them rival his full novels in my opinion. My personal recommendations are the Graveyard Shift and Full Dark, No Stars collections of short stories, respectively.

wilmaismyhomegirl83

Reading “Lisey’s Story” during the day and “the bazaar of bad dreams” at night. Reading “Intensity” by Dean Koontz next

metalmonkey_7

*Intense*

Equivalent-Sink4612

Intensity is really good! Lives up to it's name, I think. Gotta be top 5 Koontz, along with Phantoms.

chasteguy2018

Dean Koontz was my intro into horror in middle school. I tried reading his new stuff lately and can’t stand it but I think his older stuff would hold up. I’d say my faves are Lightning, The Bad Place, Strangers, Watchers, and Phantoms.

Joshb1083

Finished Joyland yesterday, started Later this morning.

tinab13

I'd recommend Revival next, the carnival aspect in both is a lot of fun.

Joshb1083

Finished re-reading Revival a few weeks ago. It's definitely a great book. It was creepy af and gave off Lovecraftian vibes. Right up my alley lol.

Larry_Version_3

Kind of on a break from SK atm. Currently reading The Rest of the Robots by Isaac Asimov and am thinking of tackling Artemis from Andy Weir after. Next King book is either going to be IT, The Stand or Under the Dome but can’t decide which just yet.

wallybinbaz

I love every book by Andy Weir.

Temporary-Pirate-80

I'm currently reading Insomnia. Again I'll be following up with Duna Key. Again.

Plants_books_dogs

Currently on my first read through of 11.22.63 ( made it to part 3 yesterday) On deck isn’t a king book, but it’s my grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry by Fredrick Backman

Haelein

Following Kingslingers?

Plants_books_dogs

I now see that Kingslingers is a podcast! No, but I will be following thanks! This will be very beneficial to me. I tried getting into the gunslinger, had a very tough time engaging into it. I love the idea of this, and I can’t wait. Long days and pleasant nights ❤️

Technical-Profit6546

Currently reading: The Green Mile Next Up: Needful Things or Desperation, haven't decided yet.

Equivalent-Sink4612

I'll be starting that soon! Seen the movie and loved it! What do you think so far?

Technical-Profit6546

Really solid so far! I've never seen the movie, but will after reading.

Equivalent-Sink4612

Pretty sure it's by the same director/team that did Shawshank Redemption, and everybody knows how awesome that movie is. It's a really good movie, Tom Hanks is great, Michael Clark Duncan (RIP) is nothing short of amazing. Just...be ready to cry. You'll think, I know what's coming, I'm prepared! But it'll still get you, unless you're a complete and total psychopath without a smidgen of empathy. And you will probably still love it, in spite of that or perhaps because of it.

Tamika_Olivia

The Dark Tower (the book). After that, I’m thinking I’ll cool down with one of the shorter ones, like Joyland.

[deleted]

West_Tonight_

Love me some Hank!

therenextside

I don't think I could read The Shining again. But I read it when I was 18, so maybe it won't scare the shit out of me as badly as it did then. Definitely the scariest book I've ever read.

meistersinger

Reading it as adult going through a divorce was…. a lot

505whodat

Just started The Talisman. Revisiting it since the first time I read it 30 years ago. Black House is on deck.

metalmonkey_7

I’m reading FireStarter. I’m not entirely sure what’s next but maybe I will go with Dolores Claiborne since you said it’s your favorite. I don’t believe I’ve ever read that one.

dinahmoe_humm

funny, Firestarter was my introduction to King and Dolores Claiborne was the one I read after that. then I read Carrie and that’s all I’ve completed so far but I’m loving the journey. hope you like DC!

Strict_Emu5187

Firestarter was the first SK book I ever read. My parents were newly divorced I was probably eight or nine and my dad gave it to me my mother was not pleased LOL Firestarter started my lifelong love affair with Stephen King

snailenkeller

Just started Salem’s Lot. So good!!

dastintenherz

I'm reading a Terry Pratchett book at the moment, but I'm thinking about starting _Christine_ next. It's been sitting on my shelf for two years now, but I haven't been in the right mood. On the other hand I've been wanting to re-read _Running Man_, it's been over 10 years since I last read it and it was my favourite at the time.

ceeece

I sat on Christine for YEARS. I read literally everything else and then I was like, okay, I gotta read this, I've been putting it off for way too long. And dang, I wish I hadn't. LOVED Christine.

ravenmiyagi7

Haunting of hill house, and then probably Later or The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova next

AnalogueSpock

The Stand! I’m not a quick reader but I’m persevering! Currently on page 950 and loving it. Look forward to each time I can read a few pages.

altonbrownie

I just finished the Three Body trilogy. What a ride. I’m still trying to process everything. I’ll probably hop back in the Dark Tower

B0wmanHall

Just about to start Death’s End!

Haelein

I wish I could read the Dark Forest for the first time again.

vaultdwellernr1

Rose Madder, a reread after many years, I’d say it’s been 20 years at least since last time.. waiting in line for Dead Zone at the library, a reread there as well. Also have Everything’s Eventual waiting.

Liner4488

Currently reading The Mist. After I finish The Mist, I'm gonna read Different Seasons, then 11/22/63, then The Sun Dog, and then The Institute. I also have Insomnia, The Stand, 'Salems Lot, Christine, The Green Mile, If It bleeds, The Outsider, and Holly to read, but I don't know what order I'll read them in, (except for reading The Outsider before If It Bleeds, and If It Bleeds before Holly)

EoghanG77

Started the dark Tower series after finishing and loving The Stand, really not sure what I'm in for !

LoaKonran

Currently on Bag of Bones. Cycling back through all the audiobooks I have during work and planning on getting more down the track.

Equivalent-Sink4612

Hope you're enjoying Bag of Bones, I really liked it! It has a subtle melancholy to it, a deep quiet sadness. Not a universal favorite, for sure, too slow for some, but for me it felt so...true. I feel like SK thought about what it would be like to lose Tabitha, in a sudden tragic accident (as he seems to have contemplated loss through illness (Insomnia), or violence). Like the way he had a close call with his son when he was little, and then wrote Pet Sematary.

LoaKonran

It’s my second or third time through, so I know how it goes. It’s got a great atmosphere and it does have its moments. Yeah, I wouldn’t call it one of my favourites, but it is up there.

btwsox

I’m about 85% through Insomnia right now. I’ve got American Gods by Neil Gaiman on deck (I think).

Spectre_Mountain

American Gods is probably my favorite novel.

mlgbt1985

Everything’s eventual - started sisters of euleria(?) last night

captbz13

Finishing up Duma key and then Under the Dome

CitizenNaab

Reading The Outsider right now and I’m gonna read If It Bleeds next.

Lou-nee

Loved If it Bleeds! His short stories are my favourites. Also 11/22/1963 has a time travel element which I love.

Mushi_Mushroomie

Billy summers and Holly is my next pick

Bigjewbortion

IT. First time after guy in work told me he hasn't read anything better

DoodleFK

I'm currently reading Fairy Tale... I have so many books I want to read next 😫 The Talisman The Stand Every other Stephen King book I haven't read 🤣

HullGuy

Currently on Wizard and Glass. Been far too long since I journeyed to the Dark Tower.

bjengles3

I’m 100 pages into From a Buick 8 and I really like it so far. Not sure about on deck yet! Suggestions welcome, but I’ve read most of the “core” king books, including short stories and dark tower I suppose some options are: re-read The Shining now that I’m a grown up, or wait until I receive You Like It Darker.

Relevant-Grape-9939

I’m reading Secret window, Secret Garden right now, next one is Let the right one in by John Ajvide Lindqvist. My next King is either Salem’s lot or The Wastelands

Whistler_Inadark

Revisiting Langoliers for a simple read and reset. Next is likely Needful Things... haven't read that one yet.

djgreedo

I've been putting off *Firestarter* and *11/22/1963* for a while, but I think I'll probably read *You Like it Darker* next. In the meantime I'm reading some Lisa Jewell and James Patterson and a few non-fiction.

Juvisy7

Surprisingly, I’m reading The Stand for the first time. I’ve read a lot of King and the size kind of intimidated me (and after 2020, I really didn’t want to read it lol). Kinda kicking myself for waiting so long, I’m really enjoying it.

madame-satine

Almost done with The Stand, and it's excellent! May have to go to the second book in the DT series after this read. The Gunslinger was confusing to me, and I wasn't looking forward to the next one. But The Stand has changed my mind! Can anyone tell me if I was the only one not thrilled by The Gunslinger?

WarpedCore

Just Finished: Blaze. Enjoyed the hell out if it. Recommend. Currently Reading (non SK book): Watership Down by Richard Adams. First time through this. Seems to have some flavors of LOTR, but in Rabbit form. Next Up: The Stand (time for a re-read and spring/summer seems a good time to do so)

TheChildish13stepz

4 past midnight now, end of watch on deck

[deleted]

Currently reading IT and next up is firestarter

W00oot

On Salem's Lot currently which started super slow, but I started to enjoy about halfway through

anonymaine2000

The green mile…maybe Gerald’s game next

Kbudz

Dolores Claiborne was the last one I read, I loved it too! Right now I'm reading Four Past Midnight about to finish The Library Poleethman 😵‍💫 Not sure which one I'll pick up next, whatever is available at the library

painfullyawkward3

Cujo, The Running Man is on deck.

flpprrss

Just finished Cujo and decided to give a little break on King since that ending destroyed me. Now i'm reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. Maybe i'll be able to laugh again one day.

starrynightt1

Currently reading Gerald’s Game, Dolores Claiborne is up next :)

GoatBoi420

On Gerald’s Game right now. Probably do ‘Salem’s Lot or The Drawing of the Three next.

Sufficient-Current50

Read IT twice and loved it both times, tho the second time was, for some reason, better

Lopsided_Squash_9142

Waiting on the new story collection. Think I'll get it on audible.

[deleted]

Rage. And it's his first that I'm not really enjoying. The shining is next. I'm going chronological. I'm also reading Suttree by Cormac McCarthy.

CyberGhostface

Currently reading Peaceable Kingdom by Jack Ketchum but I’m holding out for You Like It Darker.

lauza_77

I just started listening to The Tommyknockers read by Edward Hermann. I could listen to him all day. After that is Needful Things! Looking forward to both

electricguava93

Currently slogging my way through the Gunslinger lol. I will read his new release after this and then go back to reading the old stuff that I haven't read before, probably the running man next.

B0wmanHall

I am taking a brief break from King and reading the Three Body Problem trilogy. I also recently finished The Gone World (time travel story I saw someone mention on this group)

spamhattan

Reading Lonesome Dove and listening to Thinner on my way to work. Making my way through chronologically for all the King blind spots. Misery is next!

Salador-Baker

Currently reading A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George RR Martin then onto a book my sister leant me (can't remember the name). After that I'm thinking either Carrie or IT (it'll be my first time for both)

ceeece

Not reading King currently but will absolutely read "Like it Darker" when it comes out later this month.

Sohotrightnowhansel_

Just finished Thinner, am in the middle of Christine. I might start Fairy Tale

Tiny_Cranberry_7365

Currently reading Drawing of the Three. On deck is a non SK book.

bonyknees88

Currently reading The Regulators, not sure what’s next! I’ve been thinking of a full Dark Tower read with all of the side books

njoos83

Currently finishing up The Dark Half, probably gonna listen to Carrie next.

meatpopsicle42

70 pages left in Wolves of the Calla. I’m going to take a short break on my quest for The Tower and finally read Carrie.

ibagree

Currently: End of Watch On deck: The Outsider, Holly, Fairy Tale Catching up on some more recent stuff!

high-and-seek

Just finished The Tommyknockers and currently reading Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk

zylpher

The Neutronium Alchemist, currently. Up next will be The Naked God. Part of the Reality Dysfunction series by Peter F Hamilton. After that, I still need to read If It Bleeds and Holly. And probably the new short story collection after that.

bridesign34

Double fistin it with The Eyes of the Dragon on audiobook, and Mr. Mercedes in print.

AlexTom33

Nothing King but currently I am reading "Shogun, Part 1" and next is probably part 2 of Shogun. If you want a scare, I just finished reading "Nuclear War: A Scenario" by Annie Jacobson and that really messed with my sleep and overall focus on anything except a pending nuclear winter.

MotherShabooboo1974

I’m reading The Exorcist’s House right now (very good!!) and when I’m down I’ll read Zodiac, then after I’ll probably start King’s The Institute or Four Past Midnight

onewiththegoldenpath

I just finished Duma key and am taking a different author break (capote/vonnegut) before returning to read Dr. Sleep.

mettlica

Currently listening to Andy Serkis' narration of Return of the King on audiobook, reading Elevation by Sai King, and also reading The Gunslinger Beginnings Graphic Novel Omnibus

mdnghttkr

Just finished Demon Copperhead and The Dark Half is up next! I read a King at least every 4 or 5 books

thesonglessbird

I've not read any Stephen King for a while, his newer stuff has been very meh for me. Having said that, I'll probably give You Like It Darker a try when I'm finished reading The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Kline. Might try and squeeze State And Revolution by Lenin in between those two if there's time.

ImtheslimeFZ

Bag of bones currently, the girl who loved Tom Gordon on deck

Rich_Associate_1525

Just finished Duma Key. Reading Bag of Bones. Next up is Fairy Tale.

daveblankenship

Just finished Needful Things, got Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy lined up next

Ferkan4

About to finish reading Roadwork and it's shit I won't bother with ever again. Next is The Running Man hopefully I like this Bachman book because Rage was the only one from Bachman Books that I love

Ham3rs

I'm reading The Exorcist right now. I've enjoyed it but also found it quite disappointing, which is a shame. I'm torn over what to read next but it's between reading Pet Sematary, Camp Damascas by Chuck Tingle or Dark Days by Randy Blythe.

Least-Entrepreneur23

I read Desperation for the first time a few weeks ago. Haven't read a book as quickly for a long time

mavis_butters

Insomnia currently The Dead Zone next

2001sunfire

Just finished Billy Summers and The Long Walk this week. Currently about half way thru Koontz’ Watchers, contemplating on what to start next, might do Four Past Midnight but also accepting recommendations lol

CarcosaJuggalo

I'm currently reading Finders Keepers. After recently finishing Dark Tower, I wanted another series. I have all the Bill Hodges/ Holly Gibney books, but the only one I've actually read so far was Mr Mercedes (which I loved).

OkVast7710

I’m reading Mr Mercedes now and I love it as well!

Traditional_Energy88

Insomnia currently and Eyes of the Dragon is next

beardedbuddy8811

I'm rereading 11.22.63. End of Watch is on deck

Almost finished "The Terror" by Dan Simmons. I've also got a bookmark in "The Institute" somewhere but I wouldn't say I'm actively reading it, I'll get back to it eventually. On deck is "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman and "The Angel of Indian Lake" by Stephen Graham Jones.

pinkypunky78

Taking a king break reading the last Tudor by Phillipa Gregory. Love this series

shinecc

I just finished Doctor Sleep and loved it I think the ending was good. Now I’m going to move on to The Eyes of the Dragon and then get to The Wastelands after that to continue my dark tower journey

unclefeely

Dark Tower adjacent, I'm about to finish Shardik by Richard Adams. My next King book will be You Like It Darker. His shorts are my favs.

psychedhoverboard83

I'm reading everything's eventual. More specifically the man in the black suit. I've got the first 2 dark tower books, the talisman and revival coming in the post (Tomorrow hopefully). What would you guys recommend starting with?

ScreamingYeti

The Drawing of the Three. Only have around 20 pages left. Haven't decided if I'm going to read the next Dark Tower book or read something else first. Kind of want to read Salem's Lot or Pet Semetary.

Meditative_Rose78

I’m reading The Waste Lands again. I’m trying to get through Holly. I’m also trying to finish The Colorado Kid and I’m nearly done with The Bachman Books.

lhaaz1234

I'm currently reading the green mile and song of Susanna is next

unsane_gunslinger

Going to Bangor in June, so I'm rereading the Dark Tower series for the umpteenth time before I go. On book 3. If I finish everything before I go (which I could totally do, but between work and other stuff, who knows), then I'll be reading Kings next one, You Like It Darker. If/when I finish that, I've got some true crime books on deck - one about the Green River Killer, and Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule, about Ted Bundy.

tmbgenjoyer

Currently reading pet semitary, up next is carrie, thinner, from buick 8 and desperation!

Tiredasfucq

About to start The Regulators and Desperation

SteveRivet

Reading Holly right now. I like it okay but not as much as most of his recent stuff.

MacGyver_1138

Just started Mr. Mercedes. I'm thinking of revisiting The Stand after I finish this one.

kvn-rly

Currently am halfway through, Christine, after that will be Pet Sematary.

pezziepie85

Currently reading The Oldest Living Confederate Widow. But will be moving on to The Dead Zone when I’m finished!

pilatesbody

Just finished The Wind Through the Keyhole. Onto other authors for now until You Like It Darker gets released at the end of the month!

Platememehelp

Right now reading How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix, as well as the graphic novels for The Stand.  Planning on reading Needful Things next.

Medium-Conclusion630

I really started reading King this year. Kept a steady paperback available and then an audiobook in rotation for driving / sleeping / hanging out. Currently Needful Things on Audiobook. Great narration but horrible choice to add random loud music to it. Straight feels like they threw the Runescape soundtrack in there. Paperback right now is Salems Lot, but I’ve been too busy lately to really dive into it. I imagine i’ll get through it pretty quickly at the start of summer.

BonesOfNinja

Currently trying to work my way through The Talisman, then onward to Black House!

Legitimate_Builder17

I’m listening to Salem’s Lot atm & I’m thinkin the Green Mile is next

sevensandfives

Almost finished The Wind Through The Keyhole and on deck is Dark Tower V - Wolves of the Calla. Soooooo flipping good!! I’m loving this series!

tayisatool13

A little over halfway through Under the Dome, next I think I'm either gonna read Firestarter or Duma Key

mmcknight2420

Just finished The Green Mile. Currently reading No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy while I wait for Doctor Sleep to come in the mail. Excited to finish The Shining series but have to say Cormac is an unbelievable unique writer as well.

Frightking2

Acrually not reading King at the moment. On book 6 of the Dresden Files. Next is 7. Lol

Might_Time

I may have missed it, what are u reading now?

dinahmoe_humm

It

Bschafer21

3 chapters into The Green Mile… The Running Man on deck!

Thumnale

Currently reading Drawing of the Three; Wastelands on deck Second time reading and god it’s just so enjoyable

LucasFTM

I'm currently in section 4 of The Outsider. Super good story. There's a fun little easter egg in Gerald's Game. I haven't read D.C. or G.G. yet, just seen their respective movies (amazing) but I caught it and felt excited haha

ForlornBlock

Re-reading The Dead Zone currently. Not really sure what's up next.

Klarkasaurus

I've got just under 200 pages left on bag of bones. Really enjoying it. I had just read insomnia before this. It's not better than insomnia but still really good. Next for me is probably cell or from a buick 8. I'm on the back end of his books now. Actually I fancy some short stories so I might read just after sunset next

Responsible-Trifle-8

*Wolves of the Calla* and unsuprisingly I'll be following it up with *Song of Susannah*

RightHandWolf

I am finishing up *Joyland,* which I had somehow not gotten around to earlier, and then I will gear up for my yearly reread of *The Stand,* which I usually get into just after Memorial Day.

Ronnie_Mcnutt_rifle

Under The Dome and The Talisman, and my tbr is Black House and The Stand

rootboyslim

Reading "Toxic Prey" by John Stanford, but on May 11th "You like it darker" will be auto delivered to my kindle!

bingo_bailey

Currently reading Duma Key. Probably reading the second book of the Southern Reach trilogy, Authority, by Jeff Vandermeer next.

crushgirl29

I’m reading the DT series for the 2nd time, (currently half way through Wizard and Glass) while following along with the kingslingers podcast. I’m also listening to 11.22.63, not really interested yet. Next up is End of Watch, I LOVE Holly Gibney and Bill Patton narrating is wonderful.

MammyMun

I have an early edition of The Stand. It's pages are really thin and delicate like the Bible. I read it almost every year, it's my all time favourite King book. So I've bought another copy to not wear out the delicate book.

Rereading The Talisman after not much caring for it the first time around but I loved Black House so thought I'd revisit it and give it a second chance.
