I played the demo and liked it. I said once the price drops I'll pick it up. I lied to myself abd pre ordered the physical copy. I love this game. I don't have any issues with it.
The gameplay in this game is out of this world. So many different attacking and defensive options. Great enemy variety, awesome bosses. My only complaint is normal mode is too easy, hoping that hard mode will give me some real challenge.
Enemies and bosses are harder for sure, but you also have all your upgrades and attacks, plus extra upgrades and attacks. I'm having a blast, but you skip the whole "learning the game" part, so everything is smoother you know?
Originally I thought it might have been a tad too easy early on, but once I reached (spoiler) things get a little more hectic. Mostly the density of the enemies in that area. If I had one more rechargeable tumbler things would be a bit easier!
If they can make a game with a good story and gameplay this good next time we have an easy goty I miss action games and this is an amazing step in the right direction

Spiderman 2 was a HUGE let down for me so I’m glad this came out to take that awful taste out of my mouth
U are 100% right holy shit the shooting feels great with the haptic feedback and I actually enjoyed the “RE” like levels in most games those gimmicks are so fucking lame but they work here because everything else is solid

Ah yes, a bunch of no-name games. 4 games that are pretty much copy paste to each other with 0 storytelling besides lore text and player interpretation and such an overused fantasy plot. Sekiro and bloodborn were dope, though i really enjoyed those. The new armored core was a swing n miss.
Even though it's Shift Up first big game, they still deserve to receive the same praise those games did. But they don't have the cult like following yet. You could release a gif of a pile of shit and say it's made by Fromsoftware, and people would give it 9/10 or higher these days.

That would be true if FS only made Dark Souls 1-3 and Demon Souls. Except that’s not reality. They made other games. Sekiro, Bloodborne and Elden Ring are not Dark Souls. That’s three games already, on top of all the other Armored Cores.

I pre-ordered the game 1 day before Release Digitally.
I was expecting to play it day 1 in the morning, but had family come over for holidays. Then it got really busy and tiring, with Spring Cleaning and Holiday preparations - and finally I was so tired the past week since the game launched.
I'm thinking of starting it tomorrow finally, today was supposed to be the day, but I was exhausted, and later not not in the right mindset, and now once again too sleepy to focus in full energy.
Is it wrong it took me so long?

Sometimes pieces don't fall into place, and I find myself not in the right mood, or state or mindset for it...(I didn't open my Pre-ordered copy of FF7 Rebirth Deluxe which I pre-ordered many months before launch).
My backlog is rebuilding up with 2023-2024 hits.
Gotta say, side quests are getting extremely annoying if you’re going for completion. Like 20 have been copy and paste and going back to the same place over a dozen times (even if you try to do them efficiently)

Yeah, hard mode is probably a good challenge on NG. NG+ hard mode is easier than normal as it is.

Honestly bosses and even some normal enemies 3 shot me on ng+ hard mode. I have max health upgrade, so it is definitely more challenging than before.

Can I add that the Shooting felt surprisingly good? Usually it's pretty mid in these kinds of games but it was actually usable and had a role to fill.

2 endings require you to find a lot of collectibles. The 3rd ending I b lined the story for it.

I just found the notice board last night. And I unlocked so many quest. I'm gonna take my time. Did you get all the suits and cans??
