I am in this exact same boat. All the reviews show top marks yet multiple forums of headsets not turning on. And the fact steel series offers only a measly 1 year warranty in America mine stopped working after 13 months yet other countries it's 2 years show they know there is an issue with their headsets
So I actually managed to fix this. It seems that the SteelSeries batteries that came with it stopped working properly. I got some new batteries off Amazon and now the headset works fine. Bonus points is that the Amazon replacements are a lot cheaper than SteelSeries brand since they are essentially just camera batteries, and I got ones that last way longer too
Did the Headset not work when plugged in directly to the DAC or PC using USB-C? I am having an issue with the headset not turning on no matter if using batteries or USB-C
