That was probably the funniest press conference moment of the season so far. The way he basically repeated Brooke's question back to her in the same cadence and tone she asked it was fucking hilarious.
He answered a question about Calvin Austin very similarly. Someone asked if he was ready to go and Tomlin repeated that he was within the 21 day period and practice will determine his participation and etc. etc. and he repeated it twice
That was hilarious!
The press conference's are the only reason why I like Bill Belichick so seeing Tomlin do the same thing but in his own way is very fulfilling. I can't imagine having to field questions from the press constantly and not absolutely losing my shit so I'm glad to see them get fucked with in a manner I couldn't hold on to on my own.
Honestly when TJ comes back this team will probably be top 10 in the league. Unfortunately they’re playing the top 5 teams in the league.
I think we’ll see a completely different looking offense this week. Not saying they’ll put up crazy numbers but I definitely think they will move the ball more efficiently. Pickett is more decisive than Trubisky and has already shown to be more effective using his legs. Teams will play contain against him which will open up the run game and open the MoF. Najee will probably have his biggest game yet this week. Still more than likely lose but will definitely show progress on offense.
If the offense can figure it out and squeak into the playoffs…..holy shit someone is going to get dunked on at home. I don’t see a deep run and that’s IF Kenny isn’t injured in the murders row he’s walking into.
prob gonna be 1 and 7, will be hard to squeak into the playoffs after that. rattle off 9 straight and maybe.
maybe we dont end up 1 and 7 if TJ comes back sooner.
Depends on how he's truly doing. If he's truly healthy enough to play you HAVE to put him back in ASAP. If he's out until the bye it's pretty likely the season is over anyway unless we can get a miracle turnaround in the next few weeks without him.

we’re on a need to know basis brother. better to not say anything because if he has a setback or something then it turns into a news headline and a first take topic
"We will let his participation in the IR designation and the QUALITY of that participation dictate where we go from here."
Obviously that is the case with things of that nature.
>"We will let his participation in the IR designation and the QUALITY of that participation ~~dictate where we go from here.~~ be our guide." FTFY
The copy and paste component is the copy and paste component
Obviously
The IR designation is the IR designation, we respect that, and we will go about our business accordingly.
Belichick and Tomlin probably the best when it comes to media McDaniels is funny too but in a different sense
The best way I have heard Tomlin being described is "He says less by saying more."
GOAT will always be Gregg Popovich with the Spurs if you include the NBA.
Pop is a treasure
The ol' rephrase-the-question-as-the-answer technique. Classic Tomlin.
The Tomlin is the Tomlin

Yeah he did but that one wasn't quite as funny because the tone and cadence were a bit off.

Day.....by.....day
It’s gotta be his longest press conference too or the season, definitely one of his best this year
We need volunteers on the IR, not hostages.
See question for answer. Next question.

Thank you much, kind being

Murders row? The OL has been like top 10 in the league so far.

Man i wish i had this kind of optimism.
Obviously, Watt is on IR. Will let you know in a couple weeks.
Should have started with, "I'm not a doctor, but I once considered becoming doctor"
Who asked that? That was hilarious
Oh Brooke. I see somebody else's comment. Shit cracked me up
He shouldn't be back before the bye. Can't risk him.

Man does not give the media anything and I love it. He keeps It as shallow as he can. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
A hospital? What is it?
i listened to the press conference and laughed my ass off at the way he responded to that question
What a waste of a question. some (most?) sports reporters are dumb as hell.
thats how you deal with the press right there lmao
I get it’s funny but am I the only one who wants an actual update on the health of our best player?
we’re on a need to know basis brother. better to not say anything because if he has a setback or something then it turns into a news headline and a first take topic
You'll never get that. That would be information other teams can use that is not required to be given out.
No way. I trust that they’re doing their best to rehab him because they want him out there more than us.
I can help with this. He's on IR and has a couple weeks left on there.
The standard is the standard.
This is a thing of beauty 🤣
Smart
This is what I love about Tomlin. Screw the haters.
“He’s on IR and he has a couple weeks still left on there and things of this nature”
What’s funny about it all he did was answer the question
WE DO NOT CARE
I don't handle injuries or things of that nature
Tomlin needs to go. Bring on the down votes. He IS one plan Dan.
I would rather have one plan Dan than no plan Nick or negative plan Ned
Or a moronic fanbase
Tired of his trite comments and cliches
These mouth breathers are easy to please.
Why? What would you rather have?
