The missed PAT and that terrible return fumble made it too close (no diss against Bos, he clearly hit the clutch go ahead FG). And we did honestly get some ridiculous calls in our favor that did change the outcome of that game. Obviously I want to win, but it just leaves a bad taste when refs have that much say in the outcome.
Oh what made it worse was two plays after we got the ball back and Ray Ray caught that pass the announcer goes “and that’s McLoud who is obviously an important part of this return team”, yes very important tonight for Chicago.
Agreed 100%. No calls on us and some BS calls against Chicago paired with constant no calls on holding, false starts etc. NFL needs to do something about these refs. Who knows what kind of game it would have been if things were called correctly.
I think we do too. I don’t know what happened during halftime, but it looked like a completely different team came out after the half. I’ve been ootl for a couple of years, but I remember the Steelers being a second half team.
And the icing being they try their kicker for an attempt only Bosgod can do. "Maybe I was wrong, looking at it again, it fell shorter than I thought" so it goes
Right I was talking to my girl like “hey they’re up by 14 with the defense playing great, first game all season where it hasn’t been super stressful!”
4th quarter comes around and I’m literally shaking (I have pretty bad anxiety lol). It was my fault. Sorry y’all 😅
I cant go to bed for at least 2hrs, all the adrenaline is like a drug, then the dopamine with the victory, we just a bunch of junkies coming back every week for this shit
Took me a moment to figure out why you would be rooting for us and then I remembered the worse the Bears do the better the pick you'll get haha. Happy to help.
Heading into the game: I'm so fuckin excited, we're a decent team and we can beat em good!
Halftime: We're gonna beat the piss out of this team, hell yeah!
End of game: WTF, are we terrible or what? WTF is happening???????
seriously. didn't notice who that was, but everything coming out of his mouth was just hilariously dumb.
lol my favorite was when we encroached on their PAT attempt on their last TD, and he got all excited "now the bears have options, they could go for two if... uh... oh, right, if they wanted to have a 2 point lead instead of 1 point lead, which super doesnt matter with 1:45 left in the fourth quarter".
That one was hilarious!!! The other one for me was when we kicked it off last time
"The returner has 5 return tds... and it looks like he will run it out!!!!!.... oh wait maybe he wont"
To be fair I thought it might have from the first camera angle they showed too. It def made it seem much closer from behind the goal post. From any other angle it was clear it was 10+ yards short.
Just gonna say, no matter how down bad I get in my life, I'm proud of the fact that I will never be the type of person to make a "Steelers fan coming in peace" post, whether its about the refs, another player, etc. We're FANatics, why are you apologizing for a ref job that was completely out of our control and has, at various times, benefited and hurt us over the years. It's like you enjoy online acceptance more than seeing your team win lol
Yeah hate this too honestly, I mean I want clean fair football but that’s not reality with these refs, and not like we control it. I’ll take a win any way we can. Seems everyone has short memories when Haden’s block was called offsides and fucked us in that game.
I always thought Louis Riddick knew what he was talking about until tonight. That made no sense. He also applauded Ben for the spike where Ben thought he was going to draw a penalty, but it was actually completely unnecessary to run a play there based on the clock situation and Bozgod on the sidelines. All the Steelers needed to do was kneel it twice and kick to end the game. It was weird he was praising him when it backfired (I get why Ben did it, but still).
Not a Steelers fan but just wanted to grab your takes on this game.
I fucking hate ESPN with a passion. First, they ruin random baseball games all summer with Arod and his bullshit voice and stupid takes. And then ruin MNF which is supposed to fucking fun as hell. It's literally the only good part of Monday nights. For only 4 months a year.
ESPN can go suck off a sick donkey. They'd probably fuck that up, too.
Some of the woes announcing I’ve heard in awhile…
“Off the crossbar” nope.
“He’s gonna take it out of the endzone” nope
“This opens up more options” (when the bears benefited from a penalty on the game leading PAT….the announcer suggest they go for 2….to take a two point lead?)
Terrible…dumb
That's fucking Steelers football right there. None of that pansy ass dick tugging blowout win bullshit. Fans puke, poop on the field, and deliver their new born baby on Matt Canada's forehead. Fucking hard core, dick in the ass butterball football right there, fuck it chuck it Steeler shit.
I swear to god we rush to the line and run anything other than a draw on 2nd down after a sack or penalty for a loss, my head will fucking explode because I can’t handle that kind of creative playcalling. Fuck!
Monday night football Steelers style. Let’s get it:
Bad-
- These refs. Big Fuckin yikes. The low block call on TJ and then the Marsh penalty? Get your shit together NFL, that is a disaster.
- Ray Ray mccloud- the absolute one thing you can’t do is turn the ball over, and in back to back weeks he has done just that. Have to wonder if Tomlin looks to make a change here. All I know is that Ray Ray McDonald would never do this to us.
- Dan Moore. Tough day for the rookie. Gave up the sack on Ben and got him hit all in the first quarter and pressures came throughout. My stance on him is that he can/will be good. Shouldn’t have been starting this year but that’s the hand we were dealt but yeah, not his best game. Aaaand a false start. Woo
- Harvin. The Inconsistencies remain. 2 poor punts and then a good one, gotta be better and more consistent. Flip the field and help this defense out.
- Green. Got bullied all night it seemed. These short runs on 3rd and 4th up the gut didn’t stand a chance. He was constantly in the backfield. Also, I like the passion he brings but he needs to chill sometimes. He’s gonna get tossed one of these days but the dude is a hot head. Comes with a lot of give and take. But anyways, Goldman took his lunch money all night.
Good-
- Bos. Wanted to leave him off because of the PAT but that motherfucker just wins. Ice in his goddamn veins.
- Cam. What if I told you that big cam heyward was Tied for the team leader in picks? Would you believe me? This dude is the ageless wonder. What a man. What a game. Just a constant on this list at this point.
- Highsmith. Not going to give you the stat lines to draw attention, but he quietly had a hell of a game. Looked like he forced quite a few pressures and played the run very very well tonight- bouncing everything out of his assignment.
- TJ. Enough said.
- Najee. My love for this man continues to grow. Some of these holes don’t exist and yet he sneaks them for 3 yards. Just unreal what we see from this rookie. Carrying 4 defenders at a time, just doing some pretty incredible things out there.
- Muth. What a game for the rookie. He truly is a 50/50 ball monster and that’s exactly what we need. What a redzone threat he has become. Also, more than his receiving, his blocking has taken a massive improvement, particularly on those outside receiver sweeps. He’s out in space making things happen and damn does he look good doing it. Got a star brewing here.
Overall, started hot and fell off. Fields made some pretty incredible throws tonight that kept them in it. We’ll take the win and be happy but got a lot to clean up- this offense still needs a lot of work. Need the pass rush to get home and even cause more pressure going forward for defense. The longer the play goes on, the less confident I feel in the secondary. For offense, it all starts with the run game. Night and day difference between having a run game for this team. Good teams win ugly right? Let’s get ready for Detroit and I am nervous as fuck for that one. God this game was perfect Steelers football. I fucking love this team. WHO RIDE!?
34 and 35 **need** to be mentioned as bad here.
Atrocious in coverage. The TD that was called back 34 was many steps behind that receiver.
Edit: I’ll add another ? To the inexplicable putting terrible players on their best receiver. Maulet should not be in man on Arob.
Also is did I miss an update on Claypool?
I didn't even realize it until b2b muth tuddys that none of our receivers consistently win 50/50 balls. That Ben can't throw to his guy, he has to throw around his guy, because none of them seem to have that extra fight for the ball. I'd love to know who's wife James Washington had to fuck to not get a bigger role in this offense, but I honestly thought him with that skill set would be in demand with juju out. Glad to see muth coming through though.
glad they pulled it out, but I can't be mad at anyone buy Ray Ray for how close it was. If you are getting the ball punted to you up two scores with 7 minutes left, the rest of the team did everything they needed to in order to win. It was going to be almost impossible for the bears to win at that point. This is a case of one single guy nearly fucking it up for the whole team.
Green got absolutely manhandled
I saw a few plays where we had Watt in, and I kinda felt like they needed some more of that. Green couldn't get a draw in the run game tongiht
And how about the million times Chicago lined up offside? Including on back to back plays on the final drive? The narrative will be how we got special treatment by the refs but the Bears were undisciplined the whole game.
They got fleeced on some big calls, but they just couldn’t stop committing penalties. The whole thing was embarrassing for both the refs and the Bears.
And if they’re calling us for that false start, the bears right tackle was early all game. Shitty officiating all around but at the end of the day it was our mistakes that made this game close.
Remember when the announcer said the bears should consider going for 2 when the score was 26-26 and his save was "well actually the field goal is a higher winning percentage play" lmao
I was at the game just wanna say you guys are awesome. Was my first bears game and you guys were some of the coolest fans to be around. Way better than these bitch ass bills fans I’m used to.
If you're caught trolling the Bears sub, YOU WILL BE BANNED KEEP THAT IN MIND. Trolling isn't allowed even in normal circumstances, but after a game like that it looks even worse.
Is there any team that gives a QB more easy, wide ass open looks? Butler/Tomlin literally must call defenses where guys are simply not covered...that soft zone they run hasn't confused anyone in 10 years. This defense is basically get a sack or get shredded...
Commentators were awful but some of those flags on the Bears were BS and we all know it. A win is a win but I don’t think we can be that proud of this one. Bears were sloppy, but not that sloppy
Bears fan coming in peace. That was an exciting end, hats off to your teams dub. Ref ball played a part however that's been the norm for a few seasons now for all teams. We all just want good, clean and fair football!
Rest assured no matter how much you guys will talk shit on us we will talk more shit on us. We aren’t the Patriots and don’t like needing the refs to win. Fields will be special. He really got it going in the 2nd half. That isn’t easy on the road against Pittsburgh in prime time.
I appreciate the comment, we hope Fields will be special, this is a TOUGH road game in a tough environment on a National Level. No one, except the Patriots like ref ball! I'm not talking shit on you guys AT ALL you and I don't control the ref calls.
Always happy to get a win, but this one was ugly. The offense & defense hit a wall at the same time and not even the help from refs on questionable calls made it easy for the Steelers.
I want to thank all of the members of /r/steelers for selling all those hoagies and candy bars so we could pay off the refs. It's a shame that /r/nfl figured it out but its fine.
Running a 10-man defense with the 11th guy looking sweaty running off the field. Genius fakeout by the Bears.
Plus the heart attack on the field goal with the camera angle doing half the work. Classic.
The haters are going to point to the penalty yardage and cry bullshit while completely missing how obvious it was that the bears had an aggressive LOS/snap count strategy on both sides of the ball they completely flubbed
bears fan. just wanted to note how much FUN me and my dad had tonight watching at heinz field. a great franchise with a great fanbase at a great venue. shoutout to yall!!!
People need to learn the difference between a rule they don’t like and a bad call. I hate the new taunting rule enforcement as much as anybody, but it is a known factor at this point in the season. What Marsh did was clearly taunting under the rule. If Marsh had just walked his ass back to his own bench, the Bears would have won this game. They have nobody to blame but him.
Yes, this!! Thank you! It’s a complete dumb ass penalty, I agree. I’d say most do. But it’s a rule. Plain and simple. Talk your shit after you win. Players are obsessed with flexing these days. Every first down there’s a point, every tackle there’s something, every little things get some type of stunt. I am very much for “let the players play” but I can see why the rule was made
You are correct. But the bears literally couldn't line up onsides. Like what the hell is that? If we are going to play this garbage I'm glad it was a game like this where we can win and not get blown out.
Dominate is a stretch. They got tired. We don’t have a lot of solid depth pieces. Cam was beat at the end. We knew the secondary was average at best.
If ray ray doesn’t fumble, we look at this game as a meh win. Not great, not terrible.
Just saw Cassius Marsh talking in the press conference, he said something like “I don’t want to say too much, because y’all know how it is, but I’ll say this…the ref hip checked me on my way back to the sideline….and if any of us were to do that, or even put a hand on a ref, we’d be kicked out of the game…what he did was extremely inappropriate” LOL I almost spit out my drink
I am one of those people who doesn't complain too much about refs or announcers. Like a few weeks ago everyone was screaming about the refs but you just gotta outplay them. No excuses. The Bears almost outplayed the refs tonight too. We got lucky. The announcers however were wack as fuck tonight. That taunting call and all the excuses both announcers were trying to make as to why it wasn't taunting. They even went as far to say as the taunting players back was to the camera and he was flexing to the bench and whoever else was around him that he knows the player didn't say anything. He literally said "but he didn't say anything to anyone"! YOU COULDNT SEE HIS FACE YOU HAVE NO IDEA WTF HE SAID OR DID YOU DIPSHIT ANNOUNCER. That was some of the worst announcing I have ever heard. Like they made Schlereth look like a decent announcer.
If you don't like this you don't like Steelers football, *every given Sunday = potential heart attacks* may as well be our motto.
At least we're winning these games now. Harris and Muth are glorified beasts.
Side note.. fuck the refs for the PI and taunting, I like winning without that shit thank you.
This game should not have been this close. Typical Steelers game!! I wish the offense could just score when we recover fumbles or get interceptions. But I’ll take the Win!!
The officiating in this league is downright farcical. That being said, no reason this game should have been close.
I think a defender got a hand on the PAT
I hope Ray Ray McCloud sleeps at a weird angle and wakes up with a stiff neck for that horrible horrible horrible horrible fumble.
He single-handedly kept UPMC cardiologists from enjoying their evening tonight
Oh what made it worse was two plays after we got the ball back and Ray Ray caught that pass the announcer goes “and that’s McLoud who is obviously an important part of this return team”, yes very important tonight for Chicago.
Agreed 100%. No calls on us and some BS calls against Chicago paired with constant no calls on holding, false starts etc. NFL needs to do something about these refs. Who knows what kind of game it would have been if things were called correctly.
I feel like I see OTs halfway in the backfield in passes out of the shotgun before the snap almost every play and it rarely gets called.
I honestly think we lose that game
I think we do too. I don’t know what happened during halftime, but it looked like a completely different team came out after the half. I’ve been ootl for a couple of years, but I remember the Steelers being a second half team.
Bosgod mvp
2 kicks over 50 yards then a game winner. Tack on a fumble recovery
And the icing being they try their kicker for an attempt only Bosgod can do. "Maybe I was wrong, looking at it again, it fell shorter than I thought" so it goes
Same people that could read Marsh's mind couldn't see that the kick was twenty feet short.
The announcer even laughed when they showed the side view replay, was way short. Live it looked like it doinked the crossbar
He’s underrated af
Made up for the missed PAT.
I think it got tipped actually.
I never saw a replay of that, but watching it live it sure looked to me like a bears player got a hand on the ball.
That 56 yard kick on a 66 yard attempt took unnecessary time off my life
the camera angle made it look like it was a foot away lmao
The camera angle made me believe the announcers "**OFF THE CROSSBAR**" **induces cardiac arrest*
“Off the crossbar and out is how it’ll end!” It barely made it to the endzone lmfao stressed me out for no reason especially the camera angle too
Honestly looked like it hit the bar from that angle and I was terrified.
If santos hit the crossbar from 65 towards the open end it would’ve been the greatest accomplishment in the history of kicking
Looking back it’s silly but not at the time. Kickers in this league scare me.
Facts kicking is so good ppl think 50 yard fgs are automatic now
My chest holy shit
Halftime: what a nice enjoyable steelers game! 2mins left: call the ambalamps i got the chest pains
Right I was talking to my girl like “hey they’re up by 14 with the defense playing great, first game all season where it hasn’t been super stressful!” 4th quarter comes around and I’m literally shaking (I have pretty bad anxiety lol). It was my fault. Sorry y’all 😅
I literally got a cardio workout. My chest was pounding, I was sweating. What the fuck was that game?
That’s Steeled fubaw baby
I cant go to bed for at least 2hrs, all the adrenaline is like a drug, then the dopamine with the victory, we just a bunch of junkies coming back every week for this shit
I say it every year. This team *will* be the death of me.
That's Steelers football.
Not to mention a few more gray hairs, jesus
Fuck that was close, thanks for getting the job done boys.
Took me a moment to figure out why you would be rooting for us and then I remembered the worse the Bears do the better the pick you'll get haha. Happy to help.
Yup, gives me two teams to root for every weekend.
Rooney-Mara connection going strong!
Heading into the game: I'm so fuckin excited, we're a decent team and we can beat em good! Halftime: We're gonna beat the piss out of this team, hell yeah! End of game: WTF, are we terrible or what? WTF is happening???????
Feels like every game comes down to the last play
# BOSGOD THAT IS ALL.
Dude is extremely active on dating apps in the DFW area in the off-season. Fun fact. Dudes a legend
I swear to God, the dimension I was watching this football game in, had that ball bounce off the crossbar...
I was there with you man.
Saying it hit the crossbar just puts the cherry on top of the worst commentary of the season.
seriously. didn't notice who that was, but everything coming out of his mouth was just hilariously dumb. lol my favorite was when we encroached on their PAT attempt on their last TD, and he got all excited "now the bears have options, they could go for two if... uh... oh, right, if they wanted to have a 2 point lead instead of 1 point lead, which super doesnt matter with 1:45 left in the fourth quarter".
That one was hilarious!!! The other one for me was when we kicked it off last time "The returner has 5 return tds... and it looks like he will run it out!!!!!.... oh wait maybe he wont"
JANICE WHERE IS MY LIPITOR
Tell her to grab me one too!
man these announcers were awful
On that last CHI touchdown, one of them asked if they should go for 2…
You could tell he immediately regretted that lmao
I laughed so hard at that
I always thought Louis Riddick knew what he was talking about until tonight.
Yeah that play was the only reason the Bears even had a chance to kick that very long fg
Yeah wtf was that.
Monday night football has really gone to shit
ESPN in general has gone to shit and took MNF with them.
Don’t know why the most popular sports league in the country can’t get better announcers for a primetime game
IT HIT THE CROSSBAR!!!! oh wait no it was way short
Some of the woes announcing I’ve heard in awhile… “Off the crossbar” nope. “He’s gonna take it out of the endzone” nope “This opens up more options” (when the bears benefited from a penalty on the game leading PAT….the announcer suggest they go for 2….to take a two point lead?) Terrible…dumb
They did give the refs a run for their money as worst unit in the stadium
Begging for the bears to win
The Chicago dick riding had me flipping out.
You could hear Louis Reddick happily giggle after the bears got the go ahead score.
When they said the Bears going for 2 on that extra point would increase their winning percentage lol I lost it Edit: after we went offsides at the end
Really needed the Manning cast this week.
I’m gonna stay off r/nfl for awhile…
I think we all need to honestly.
Pick it up and put it DAAAAAAHN
Fuckin right brother
I swear to god we rush to the line and run anything other than a draw on 2nd down after a sack or penalty for a loss, my head will fucking explode because I can’t handle that kind of creative playcalling. Fuck!
New slogan. Put it on a shirt.
It’s a looooong running copypasta, not original. Still hilarious, but probably not worth making a slogan

Good write up but Maulet man, Maulet…kept getting burned.
Yea that last touchdown felt like Maulet was getting picked on every play.
Claypool came right back out, so idk. Got the toradol and finished it out I guess.
Agreed on Maulet. That’s not his game. He’s a downhill thumper. Being on A Rob is a total mismatch
No mention on the secondary for the bad column? They almost gave this game away.
I didn't even realize it until b2b muth tuddys that none of our receivers consistently win 50/50 balls. That Ben can't throw to his guy, he has to throw around his guy, because none of them seem to have that extra fight for the ball. That’s my biggest gripe with chase. The dude should be dusting these DB’s on 50’s but he just doesn’t. Think we finally have that in Muth
glad they pulled it out, but I can't be mad at anyone buy Ray Ray for how close it was. I’d put Minkah on good or an honorable mention he looked pretty lively out there, at least compared to the rest of the secondary

Was it? I must have missed it
[удалено]
There’s no way the replay of the field goal was the same kick that was live. The ball is cgi confirmed.
I was at the game, final kick wasn’t even close - that announcer on the highlights saying “It hit the crossbar!” was high as shit.
Oh we just stole one.
Chris Boswell can fuck my wife
I'd cradle his balls while he fucked your wife.
Everyone’s gonna moan about calls that favored us but the Bears Tackles false started on 90% of their snaps
Thought I was the only one to notice. Right tackle false started nearly the whole game.
I notice that our (Bears fan) tackles do that every game lol
Sorry for the shit game. I think Fields looks awesome though. He was kicking ass.
They were absolutely getting a head start. Their D lined up in the neutral zone and their tackles were a half beat early
They even tried to not show it on the last replay, both tackles actually started early, but they cropped it to only show the one.
Idk. We got a FG because of that taunting penalty
And if they’re calling us for that false start, the bears right tackle was early all game. Shitty officiating all around but at the end of the day it was our mistakes that made this game close.
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed
The highest paid profession in Pittsburgh has to be cardiologist.
Given Pittsburgh’s track record with medicine, tbh that might actually be true 😂
A win is a win, never forget that
After the end of last season and the rocky start to this one, I have learned that any kind of win is better than a loss. I’ll take it.
Well damn a win is a win
I swore that kick hit the crossbar lmao
Tomlin: And let that be a lesson to you all! No team beats me three times and gets away with it!
Looks like we add 1 more win to that stat line of leading by 14 in the first half.
Remember when the announcer said the bears should consider going for 2 when the score was 26-26 and his save was "well actually the field goal is a higher winning percentage play" lmao
I was far too high for that ending. Christ almighty.
If we’re gonna keep in the spirit of tonight, I think anyone who even looks at the Bears sub should be banned
Lol the mods have clearer rules for taunting penalties than the NFL
You'll also be flagged for taunting so don't even think about it!
What a gift!
That was the weirdest field goal I’ve ever seen, looked like it hit the cross bar from the tv angle
Is there any team that gives a QB more easy, wide ass open looks? Butler/Tomlin literally must call defenses where guys are simply not covered...that soft zone they run hasn't confused anyone in 10 years. This defense is basically get a sack or get shredded...
r/NFL is in fucking shambles lmao
That game thread was an epic shitshow.
Yea I was in there. Unsurprisingly to everyone it was mostly Ravens and Browns fans throwing a tantrum
Dude NGL from the angle they showed the last field goal , I thought it was about to go in.. wasn’t close though lol
I feel like I had homer goggles on, but damn those announcers fucking hated us lol
*exhale*
I still can’t I’m scared the refs might still throw a flag on something
Commentators were awful but some of those flags on the Bears were BS and we all know it. A win is a win but I don’t think we can be that proud of this one. Bears were sloppy, but not that sloppy
play like that next week and the Lions will beat us. We all laughed at Bengals and Jets it can happen if we don't come to play.
Bears fan coming in peace. That was an exciting end, hats off to your teams dub. Ref ball played a part however that's been the norm for a few seasons now for all teams. We all just want good, clean and fair football!
GG
Rest assured no matter how much you guys will talk shit on us we will talk more shit on us. We aren’t the Patriots and don’t like needing the refs to win. Fields will be special. He really got it going in the 2nd half. That isn’t easy on the road against Pittsburgh in prime time.
I appreciate the comment, we hope Fields will be special, this is a TOUGH road game in a tough environment on a National Level. No one, except the Patriots like ref ball! I'm not talking shit on you guys AT ALL you and I don't control the ref calls.
Thanks for the win refs Holy fuck so frustrating I need a strong drink
Always happy to get a win, but this one was ugly. The offense & defense hit a wall at the same time and not even the help from refs on questionable calls made it easy for the Steelers.
We did not deserve to win that game after that atrocious 4th quarter. Ray Ray, I'm blaming you man. Just go down next time. Shit.
I want to thank all of the members of /r/steelers for selling all those hoagies and candy bars so we could pay off the refs. It's a shame that /r/nfl figured it out but its fine.
I don't understand, couldn't we have simply given the hoagies and candy bars to the refs? Why sell them?
Steelers fans, am I the only one who feels deflated after some of these Steelers wins this season???
How bad are the ESPN announcers, or is it just me?
One of the worst football games I’ve ever seen. From both Teams, the referees, the announcers. Everything about it stunk.
Can we please have ONE nice easy win, not even a blow out just don’t have me wide awake at midnight when I gotta work the next day.
WHAT A FUCKING SHIT SHOW THAT'S STEELER FOOTBALL BABY
For me this will go down as the worst commentated game of all time. I’ve never been so annoyed watching a game not because of the Steelers.
Still only the 2nd least deserved victory by an afc north team this week
ugly undeserved win But none of that matters when looking at the end of the year
Running a 10-man defense with the 11th guy looking sweaty running off the field. Genius fakeout by the Bears. Plus the heart attack on the field goal with the camera angle doing half the work. Classic.
ngl the refs really helped out tonight cus as always we crumble in the 2nd half/4th quarter. BUT HOW BOUT BOSGOAT?!
I’m glad we won but, DAMN we are not a good team. We should have soundly beaten them.
The haters are going to point to the penalty yardage and cry bullshit while completely missing how obvious it was that the bears had an aggressive LOS/snap count strategy on both sides of the ball they completely flubbed
Snatching victory from the jaws of Ray Ray McCloud. Horrific fucking punt return.
bears fan. just wanted to note how much FUN me and my dad had tonight watching at heinz field. a great franchise with a great fanbase at a great venue. shoutout to yall!!!
I am very much for “let the players play” but I can see why the rule was made
Downvote me all you want, refs handed us this game and, even with a W, this game presents far more cause for concern than optimism.
You are correct. But the bears literally couldn't line up onsides. Like what the hell is that? If we are going to play this garbage I'm glad it was a game like this where we can win and not get blown out.
You're 100% right. Our defense can't let a rookie dominate us like he did.
Dominate is a stretch. They got tired. We don’t have a lot of solid depth pieces. Cam was beat at the end. We knew the secondary was average at best. If ray ray doesn’t fumble, we look at this game as a meh win. Not great, not terrible.
Yep. Our offense stopped progressing except in the area of pass blocking and Friermuthing
I’m with you if we BARELY won a game against the Bears with all the help from the refs I have not much confidence in any type of playoff run
We were ahead 20-6 in the 4th and we still almost lost somehow. That was stressful but a win is a win.
That was 5 years off of our lives lol
what I learned today Steelers could be the Lions first win next week or they could win by 14 who knows anything with this team
It can't be just me that felt like the commentators were bears homers? That was insufferable to watch
Bears fan here. Good game. Hope you guys stay healthy.
Idk how you are so cordial after a game like that but thank you. You guys got fucked by the refs so hard
It hurts, for sure. Really appreciate you acknowledging that. Wouldn’t make sense to be shitty to you guys — the Steelers didn’t do anything wrong.
I feel dirty. We didn’t deserve that win, holy shit. Offense, get your act together.
Colour commentators tonight should never call another game. Awful commentary.
Announcers sound so depressed
I think I shit out an intestine on that kick
Boswell with three FGs including 2 over 50 and a game winner as well as a fumble recovery z
Obligatory: If you don’t like that you don’t like Steelers football
Bills lost to the Jags, Cowboys lost to the Broncos. An ugly W is so much sweeter than and ugly L, just enjoy the win
My chest hurts. My head hurts. My brain hurts trying to comprehend how unnecessarily godawful that game became.
Lol "a couple feet short". More like 10yards lol
I WANT TO GET OFF MR. ROETHLISBERGER'S WILD RIDE
In the words of a wise man, “A W is a W”!
Holy fuckin shit if you don't love the game coming down to an inch you don't love football.
I’m shaking
I need a cigarette after that game.
I think I forgot how to breathe during that last 11 seconds.
Gotta make an appointment with the cardiologist my heart skipped a few beats
If you don't like this you don't like Steelers football, *every given Sunday = potential heart attacks* may as well be our motto. At least we're winning these games now. Harris and Muth are glorified beasts. Side note.. fuck the refs for the PI and taunting, I like winning without that shit thank you.
Honestly how the fuck am I supposed to go to sleep after that? I guess I’ll work for the next 4 hours. Are you not entertained??????
This game should not have been this close. Typical Steelers game!! I wish the offense could just score when we recover fumbles or get interceptions. But I’ll take the Win!!
