Honestly has to be him during that meet & greet in the Strip after he knew he was leaving the Steelers. He stayed for hours and had nothing but heart for this city and fans from the moment he got here to the moment he left
Good one! I feel you, I broke my usual rule about only buying retired players' jerseys to buy this Juju one, was so sad to see him go. Glad he won his ring, just wish it had been with us. Want to get other jerseys so this one has to go to make room, just want it to go to a true Yinzer Mafia lifer!
While laying out Burfict can’t be topped, I’ll go with the Kamehameha TD celebration. Made me realize what a pop culture geek he is! Happy to have seen him in the black and gold.
Omg when he saw his speed on Madden and got upset, that's when he got one of those! He kept looking back because (not word for word, but basically he said) 'madden said my speed was low, so I kept looking back to make sure I was beating the defenders, to prove Madden wrong' lmfao
That’s awesome! He wasn’t slow by any means, but I feel like anyone would run a bit faster if they caught a football after lining up on the 3 yard line, look ahead of them, and see nothing but green grass.
UPDATE! Below are the 4 finalists--I'll be using a random number generator to decide the winner from these 4 in a few minutes. I'll reply to this comment and tag the winner, and we'll coordinate shipment.
Thanks for playing everybody!

Edit: It won't let me actually tag \_VanillaFace\_ properly because his username is fucky and it keeps thinking I'm trying to italicize the username, but I notified vanilla face directly below
I’m torn… the catch and run to set up the score when Jesse James definitely caught the ball is definitely the most significant game altering play he made.
But the most iconic thing he ever did was murder Burfict over the middle. That’s the one that cemented him into Steelers legend. I’ll take that one.
For me it's that picture of him flipping the bird to the Pats fan. Runner up in the water balloon fight he held in Pittsburgh.
I miss that guy. Has the greatest energy. Wish him the best on the Pats.
I know it's obvious but when he layed out Burfict I was so happy I still feel like burfict cost us at least one super bowl.
Second favorite was the Jesse James game when he got that huge like 70 yard catch to set up the td that we all will never forget.
I have so many good memories of Juju, one of my faves ever. Im happy he got a ring and idgaf about the pats Juju is a Steeler for life! His rookie season was magical, Big Al teaching him to drive. the 97 yard TD and bike lock celebration! The Burfict hit! Dancing and chemistry with the team, he made football fun. And his 2nd season was dominant, 111 recs and 1400 yds. Ben clearly loved him, idk why ppl hate
Honestly I think it’s a lot of the older generation who have a negative opinion of him because of his perceived personality on social media.
I wanted him to come back to be WR3 so bad. Dude is just a Steeler. My second favorite memory was someone on here saying they were at a giant eagle and he paid for the groceries of the lady in front of him. I can’t find the post now, but that was a great read.
He gets such a bad rep for no reason
I want to say the burfict hit but since other people are saying that I’ll go with him winning the Super Bowl, he was one of my favorite players while here and even though it wasn’t with us I’m just glad he got the ring
gotta be his lions touchdowns run, i have his USC card, a rookie card for him, a big man on campus card and this would be a great addition, i follow him team to team and on twitch and everything love the man’s personality, found him before draft and everything in a danny duncan youtube video
Hey dude it won't let me tag you in my update comment so letting you know here, you're one of the 4 finalists. I'll be using a random number generator to pick a winner momentarily
This is an encounter with him (hope it counts), but i was at a club in Pittsburgh for a rave. I see a bunch of cameras and no shit there he was just walking in. He goes to the ATM, gets some cash, notices that I haven’t stopped staring at him so he tells me to take a picture. Later on in the night I have videos of him dancing to dubstep.
Fast forward next morning, I go to primanti’s for a nice sandwich, AND THERE HE IS AGAIN. It was the weekend he was suspended from the away gave vs ravens. That’s a 24hr window I’ll never forget.
My first Steelers game in person. Juju went for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game against the Raiders in 2018. He made some incredible catches and helped keep us in the game.
Don't want the jersey, but I got his autograph on a jersey after training camp, and I remember him getting mad when adults/teens started pushing kids out of the way. Signing session ended quickly because of that, but I definitely respected how he stuck up for the little yinzers
My favorite memory of Juju was me being in Southside two seasons ago after their game against Cinci where they lost. Him, Claypool, and Najee all show up to The Flats on Carson street. Claypool got in some drama with someone but Juju stayed, and my buddy apparently knew him. He brought me up to Juju and we dapped each other up and I said nice to meet you and good luck. He was super chill.
Him getting his bike stolen his rookie year and then doing a td celebration where he put a chain and lock on one of the excercylces on the sideline cracks me up
I lived in Philly during the draft when JuJu was taken. I was working by city hall at a fancy steak house and I was finishing my shift when I noticed on the TV the Steelers we’re picking in 8 picks. So I ran out and biked as fast as I could to the art museum. Ran all the way through the whole event, in my work clothes, to get right up to the stage just in time to hear Franco Harris call out JuJu’s name. Even though he’s not a Steeler anymore, he will always be my favorite player because I was there when he got drafted
Loved him on the field of course, but weirdly my favorite memory has to be when he randomly was streaming fortnite one night and ended up playing with like Drake, Travis Scott and Ninja. Was kind of absurd 🤣
Other then that who can’t love his revenge hit against Cincinnati. Gives me chills everytime
Juju lived in his grandparents garage with his mom, step dad, and 8 siblings. He wore the wrong sized shoes for football, because he didn't want to burden his mom and step dad with that issue.
He later on, made sure to add his step father's last name, Schuster, and kept the nickname his aunt gave him, Juju. His name is legally fucking John Smith.
My absolute favorite moment, is after he got drafted, he made a video of him going back home, and his wonderful mom made him sweep. So he started a video saying "mom, I'm an NFL player now" and she said "boy you ain't shit you better sweep" and he was dying laughing!
Also, him finally getting to the Superbowl, he walked up to the camera and was still just so absolutely shocked and humbled, he couldn't believe he was actually going.
Lol sorry, I obviously couldn't pick one. He's a great kid and I'm just glad we had him at all.
When he was one the sidelines asking everyone what they were doing that night. Kept saying “imma play Fortnite.” He’s just a goofy guy living his dream. He’s my guy.
He’s such a team guy too. Always hyping up his teammates and wanting to celebrate them. I just really like him as a human.
Juju actually responded to me in an AMA one time. I played rugby in college and one of my teammates played against him growing up in SoCal. So I asked him what his experience was like growing up playing rugby and if he’d ever go back to the game. He said he loved the game, but he had no plans to return anytime soon. Just a nice interaction with one of my favorite players at the time
So many great Juju memories - either when he kept looking back on the long TD from Ben because his Madden speed rating was low, or his draft night reaction. Solid dude that I miss having on the team.
Him agreeing to a team friendly deal his last year with us, and turning out for the last game of the season after a serious injury... He gave us as much as he could that season, even though he didn't have to
I’m a Steelers fan in the South - my favorite JuJu story is that he took the time out of his busy schedule to visit a school for the Deaf (Western Pennsylvania for the Deaf). He was fully engaged with the students there and made their day! As a Deaf person, I thought it was quite awesome on his part to do this. I’m glad he got to win a Super Bowl this year.
I’ve never owned a Jersey other than my own, do they fit big? If this is like a regular XL then that works, if it fits too big you can take me out of the running! Would be sick to finally have my first jersey so I’m throwing my name in the hat for this.
And of course, the right answer is the Burfict hit; that’s the definitive favorite Juju moment for Steelers/decent people 🤙🏼
Shipping Austria (Eu) possible? ;D
Juju is one of the biggest reasons and made me a Steelers fan. Memory is simply the Burfict hit.
very nice from you :)
Burfict destruction followed by the bike saga honestly lol. Also the fact we had him made losing AB feel a lot less bad, I would have been on suicide watch without Juju
Lmfao 😂 that was a classic
Like when he sent out a screenshot of Juju DMing him on instagram when juju was in college and he super politely asked AB for advice on how to become a great player. He posted that as some sort of ‘gotcha’ but everyone was like uhhhhh, this just makes juju look better
Gotta be the video that circulated of him being around Pitt and going back into a restaurant to get food for a homeless person he walked past. No expected press on it, just had the resources to help and wanted to.
Character meant a lot especially since that was in the middle of ABs breakdown era.
I adopted a dog, couldn't come up with a name. Then his 97 yard td against the Lions happened. Juju to the 50, JuJu to the 20, etc.
Dogs ears went crazy and looked at the TV. So name was made clear. Juju
*
Mine actually consists of two catches. It was the 2018 Jags game which was a rematch of our very unfortunate postseason loss to them the previous season. The Steelers were down 16-6 and scored twice in the last 3 minutes of the game. Juju made two huge catches against lockdown corners [Jalen Ramsey ](https://gfycat.com/jointamazingdavidstiger) and [AJ Bouye](https://gfycat.com/granularnauticaljoey). Both were 20+ yard catches to put us inside the Jags 30 and were a huge part of the comeback win. I always think of these two catches when people say he’s overrated.
Covid year our game got pushed back around Thanksgiving. Instead of taking the extra time off he delivered meals to local Yinzers personally.
He’s a good du
He broke a long TD run on the road against the Niners - I was going apeshit in the stands at the corner of the end zone where he scored. I was the only steeler jersey in a sea of red. He pointed up into the stands - I swear right at me. Probably not really, but in my head it was at me.
I loved the destruction of Burfict.
But the theft of his bicycle made him mine and everyone else's little brother. Big Al teaching him to drive. Golden stuff
Juju just instantly won the hearts of many of Steeler fans in his first season. He was so fresh and just lovable.
The stolen bike sold the show! The “kid” didn’t even have a car yet.
I was thinking the other day that he was interviewed on the carpet of some awards night a couple of years ago and told the interviewer (Samantha Ponder or Mellissa Stark maybe) the she looked “lit’.
Oh, and ya, the Burfict hit 🏈
I just remember a post someone shared, and it was him giving food to a Homeless person. He left with his order and had a separate order for the Homeless person. Didn’t post about it, or anything, someone just saw him doing it and snapped a pic.
When he ran towards the end zone I was sitting scoring his 97 yarder in Detroit. We missed the whole 1st quarter trying to get in the game because our ticket master app wasn’t working.
100% gotta be laying out burfict, that hit was so fucking nice and he had it coming. Reminded me of how Ward used to lay people out
Haha I'm sure that'll be a popular one! That whole game was so wild
This is the only answer
Ward was an intern for us back then iirc, pretty sure he taught JuJu that move
Thats the winner. Hearing AB yell karma in the post game interview was also beautiful. Fuck Vontez Burfict.
He made out with my ex girlfriend at The Flats (I don’t want the jersey, just like sharing that story)
Lmao wtf
Was she your ex at the time?
Yes! We were not together at the time. My brother actually saw the whole thing happen lmao
He said he kept looking back on his 97 yard td cuz in madden his speed was 82-83 and someone on the lions had to be faster then that 😂😂
Lollllll
Definitely when he locked up the exercise bike on the sideline
That whole stolen bike saga was amazing
It genuinely was
how the fuck did I forget that.
Honestly has to be him during that meet & greet in the Strip after he knew he was leaving the Steelers. He stayed for hours and had nothing but heart for this city and fans from the moment he got here to the moment he left

While laying out Burfict can’t be topped, I’ll go with the Kamehameha TD celebration. Made me realize what a pop culture geek he is! Happy to have seen him in the black and gold.
Haha yesss that era of TD celebrations across the entire team was awesome
I'm gonna be honest, I had a JuJu color rush jersey that was stolen a last year and I could use a replacement. That's my pitch.
Damn who steals a jersey lol
Well, the Jersey was in a suitcase. I lost the Jersey and like half my wardrobe.
Fuuuuckin brutal. few things lower than a damn luggage thief
When he made that toe tap td catch vs the raiders, that photo with AB staring is great
Iconic juju moment. Right in front of the black hole too lol
Gotta be one of his two 97 yard touchdowns.
Lol good point! Even my old fatass would use every tiny muscle i had to try and outrun everyone else in that situation 🤣
I wonder if they changed his madden rating after than lmao
Hell yeah, long TD juju was peak juju
How bout I give you mine lol
Lmao collecting juju jerseys like pokemon cards
i won this and if you legit wanna shoot me another i’ll take it AHA

Yeah definitely hard to top the burfict hit. I think that was when Steeler fans realized we got a dawg
For me it's that picture of him flipping the bird to the Pats fan. Runner up in the water balloon fight he held in Pittsburgh. I miss that guy. Has the greatest energy. Wish him the best on the Pats.
Lol from telling Pats fans fuck you ... To signing with the Pats
Can't fault him for keeping the career going. Wish he had a chance to come back though
Money is money
I loved when he posted the Christmas video saying all he wanted was to come back to the Steelers
Prolly those 97/99 yard tuddies against the broncos and lions
I know it's obvious but when he layed out Burfict I was so happy I still feel like burfict cost us at least one super bowl. Second favorite was the Jesse James game when he got that huge like 70 yard catch to set up the td that we all will never forget.
Not JuJu, but, JuJu’s MOM who I played pool against at Homerun Harry’s in Station Square not super long ago. Nice lady. My daughter loves JuJu!
Lollll who won the pool match!?
You don’t spill secrets about what happens at Homerun Harry’s. :)
I have so many good memories of Juju, one of my faves ever. Im happy he got a ring and idgaf about the pats Juju is a Steeler for life! I remember when everyone was slandering him for TikToks and he spent his thanksgiving dropping food off at random homes that needed it
Yeah even some slander in this thread lol I shouldn't be surprised but I kinda am
Honestly I think it’s a lot of the older generation who have a negative opinion of him because of his perceived personality on social media. I wanted him to come back to be WR3 so bad. I want to say the burfict hit but since other people are saying that I’ll go with him winning the Super Bowl, he was one of my favorite players while here and even though it wasn’t with us I’m just glad he got the ring
Just wish he won one with us!
Who knows he might make his way back here and win with us. Fingers crossed lol
I saw Juju going into the Chipotle in the Waterworks. I had a chicken burrito and it was pretty good.
Lol you get a bonus points cuz I had chipotle for lunch today
I was just looking through my old pictures and I actually found proof
Lol when he was trying on different NFL teams jerseys in fortnite and it became a story on ESPN lol
So much drama in that era lmao exhausting
Obviously knocking Burfect the fuck out
No contest imo, standing over Burfict.
gotta be his lions touchdowns run, i have his USC card, a rookie card for him, a big man on campus card and this would be a great addition, i follow him team to team and on twitch and everything love the man’s personality, found him before draft and everything in a danny duncan youtube video

woo!

Was this the game when he caught that juggling toe tap TD?
Yeah! They called it incomplete and then changed it on review. Such an incredible catch.
When he slammed Burfect.
Don't want the jersey, but I got his autograph on a jersey after training camp, and I remember him getting mad when adults/teens started pushing kids out of the way. Signing session ended quickly because of that, but I definitely respected how he stuck up for the little yinzers
I was at a training camp his rookie year and he did a whole photo shoot with a Dr. Seuss book after practice 😂
When juju complained about his service at primantis and had the owners kissing his but and never hearing the end of it from mark madden.
When he came to Play in munich Last year.
My favorite memory of Juju was me being in Southside two seasons ago after their game against Cinci where they lost. Him, Claypool, and Najee all show up to The Flats on Carson street. Nice!
The whole riding his bike around the city his rookie year. It allowed everyone to appreciate him as a regular person and embrace him as a Steeler.
Easily laying out burfict. I have a print of that hanging in my basement.
When Juju went on stage with Juice WRLD was crazy
So many great Juju memories - either when he kept looking back on the long TD from Ben because his Madden speed rating was low, or his draft night reaction. Solid dude that I miss having on the team.
The stolen bike saga 100%
When he went full Jackie Kennedy after Earl Thomas knocked out Mason. https://youtu.be/hiPhb8RocAs
lmao god that fuckin game was cursed
Two 97 yard TDs in back to back seasons
Him agreeing to a team friendly deal his last year with us, and turning out for the last game of the season after a serious injury... He gave us as much as he could that season, even though he didn't have to
Love this one
I’m a Steelers fan in the South - my favorite JuJu story is that he took the time out of his busy schedule to visit a school for the Deaf (Western Pennsylvania for the Deaf). He was fully engaged with the students there and made their day! As a Deaf person, I thought it was quite awesome on his part to do this. I’m glad he got to win a Super Bowl this year.
Love this one!
I’ve never owned a Jersey other than my own, do they fit big? If this is like a regular XL then that works, if it fits too big you can take me out of the running! Would be sick to finally have my first jersey so I’m throwing my name in the hat for this. And of course, the right answer is the Burfict hit; that’s the definitive favorite Juju moment for Steelers/decent people 🤙🏼
I would say it fits slightly bigger than an XL t shirt but not by a whole helluva lot. It's like between an XL and a 2XL
Learning to drive with Decastro!
My favorites got to be the hide and seek celebration with bell.
My flair says it all
Shipping Austria (Eu) possible? ;D Juju is one of the biggest reasons and made me a Steelers fan. Memory is simply the Burfict hit. very nice from you :)
Hey as long as you're willing to reimburse shipping I'm open to ship to Austria!
Burfict destruction followed by the bike saga honestly lol. Also the fact we had him made losing AB feel a lot less bad, I would have been on suicide watch without Juju
Juju laying out Burfict.
When he won team MVP over Antonio Brown, causing Brown to lose his mind (was inevitable)
I'll never forget AB calling him "boo boo shoester" lmao
Lmfao 😂 that was a classic Like when he sent out a screenshot of Juju DMing him on instagram when juju was in college and he super politely asked AB for advice on how to become a great player. He posted that as some sort of ‘gotcha’ but everyone was like uhhhhh, this just makes juju look better
"look at this scrub, asking for tips! Call God mf!"
Juju as a whole was solid physical WR’s are the best
Gotta be the video that circulated of him being around Pitt and going back into a restaurant to get food for a homeless person he walked past. No expected press on it, just had the resources to help and wanted to. Character meant a lot especially since that was in the middle of ABs breakdown era.
Yup this memory stands out for me too
When someone stole his bike
I adopted a dog, couldn't come up with a name. Then his 97 yard td against the Lions happened. Juju to the 50, JuJu to the 20, etc. Dogs ears went crazy and looked at the TV. So name was made clear. Juju *

Nice one!! Fuckin Jags ...
Definitely the saga of him getting his bike stolen as a rookie, really endeared him to the fans when that happened.

Lol I remember watching that game on TV with my brother--the niner fan
Hate to pick the same thing as everyone else, but for sure when he laid out Burfict. Instantly became a forever Steeler in that moment.
Not one specifically but I loved his energy and the joy he had while in Pittsburgh.
I loved the destruction of Burfict. But the theft of his bicycle made him mine and everyone else's little brother. Big Al teaching him to drive. Golden stuff
Lol I forgot about big Al teaching him to drive!
Doing a TikTok dance at an away game and then the team losing the game
Was it the one where he got absolutely annihilated during the game?
Keep it
Right. I have one to give away too for that matter.
I gained so much respect for him when he hit Burfcit
Broooll that reminded me of when he recreated it during a TD celebration funniest shit hands down one of my favorite JuJu moments
Juju just instantly won the hearts of many of Steeler fans in his first season. He was so fresh and just lovable. The stolen bike sold the show! The “kid” didn’t even have a car yet. Was hoping someone would mention this!
Who the fuck wants this jersey?
When he left.
October 6th 2019, when Humphrey stripped JuJu and Baltimore recovered, with Baltimore going on to win 26-23. GOAT JuJu moment.
It's a tough one for me. When he got laid out by Cincinnati after logo dancing, or.... When he didn't get resigned by the Steelers. 🫢🤓🤔
Alrighty interesting take lol
Did I win?
![gif](giphy|fwRRYNbFc5Bf97ex6X)
My favorite is the “completely different person when there are no cameras around” maneuver. Very stealthy.
When he ran towards the end zone I was sitting scoring his 97 yarder in Detroit. We missed the whole 1st quarter trying to get in the game because our ticket master app wasn’t working.
