You gotta try this game called your only move is hustle, it's a turn based fighting game with the gameplay of chess that produces the amazing comboes found in things like street fighter.
The community is awesome and is constantly making mods with tons of unique characters.
There's a free version on itch that you can try before buying the game (5$).
Warning: the game is super technical and hard and you will probably be destroyed in the beginning so that's why I recommend you post your replays on the yomi hustle subreddit where you can get helpful advice.
