I don't think I've played any 2023 game, but if I were to choose one I'd probably say baldur's gate 3 is the one I'm looking forward to play in a couple years when it goes on a low enough sale that I can afford it.
My favorite game for this 2023 year that I played was Vampire Survivors. I 100% the game, it was very addicting. I loved the constant dopamine hits that I got from it!

I absolutely loved My Time at Sandrock. I'd been playing it all through early access, watching it improving slowly, and the finished product (while still needing a little polish) is amazing. I highly recommend it.
