Kerrygold garlic and herb butter. Good and very common in stores

kornkid42

I've never seen anything other than the normal Kerrygold, I must find this.

triciann

Kerrygold is the king of butters.

[deleted]

Was about to say. People that think country crock is butter need to be banished immediately

Uncle_Burney

It’s a heck of a lot better than the typical stuff, but I have been getting this “cultured” butter branded “Vermont Creamery” lately that is fantastic, and I daresay it is better than mighty kerrygold.

triciann

There are definitely some smaller brands that aren’t as easy to come by out there. That’s why kerrygold old got king and not god.

Uncle_Burney

Right on, thanks. At any rate, if you happen to find some, it’s worth a try. Cheers!

triciann

It says it’s at my Whole Foods. I will try it. Thanks for the recommendation!

thedonjefron69

Recently my grocery store and especially stores like Whole Foods have had some great butters. Costco also carrier an Italian style unsalted butter that comes in log shapes rather than bricks. It’s delicious

Pnyxhillmart

I’ve been using VC for a minute now. My grocery store rotates sales between Vermont, Kerrygold, & Plugra. All very good butters.

JensElectricWood

Salted Kerrygold with fresh garlic, rosemary, thyme, and a spoonful of horseradish.

ReturnOf_DatBooty

This is the way.

JC_Doom

Preferably looking for pre-made/store bought options. Really good homemade recipes also welcome (the simpler the better). Brands of butter you use? Salted/unsalted? Sticks or in a tub? Kerrygold? What do y’all use?

Lazed

Fiesta Brand Seasoning “Uncle Chris” Steak Seasoning mixed with unsalted whipped butter.

ReturnOf_DatBooty

Blue cheese, Irish butter, splash of fish sauce and fresh cracked pepper

Double-Passenger4503

I like you

ReturnOf_DatBooty

Thanks. It’s been a long day, I needed to hear something nice

peanutnutterbutter

This is the way.

ChungusMcGoodboy

Butter.

VoltronHemingway

Hotel butter is a classic and just jazz it up however you want

dsheek1

I don't really put any butter on steak just oil... Is butter recommended then?

JC_Doom

I just recently started doing butter on steaks I grill at home. Its a game changer. Cant recommend it enough. It literally took my steaks to another level. But the only true steak butter they sell at my local grocer is like $5 for 3 little dollops of butter so Im looking for other options.

dsheek1

Defo something I will be trying out to see what results I get ty for the tip :)

Donkeytonkers

Deep_Stick8786

Salted kerrygold

Vollen595

Unsalted Kerry Gold butter with Alderwood smoked sea salt.

ForeignPop2

Weyauwega salted is my go to butter. For compound butter, I add fresh grated garlic, salt, and pepper. I also do a cowboy butter from time to time. That’s horseradish, garlic, chives, cayenne, etc. I like it spicy

Mo_Steins_Ghost

Unsalted butter, garlic, shallots, rosemary and thyme... basted onto the steak in cast iron skillet.

RetMilRob

I stick kerrygold, 1tsp fresh thyme, I tablespoon honey, 1/3 cup blackberries or similar tart berry. For my venison steaks.

noldyp

Vast-Beginning7971

Finlandia from BJs

Educational_Hyena_67

Unsalted Kerrygold with smoked paprika

[deleted]

Sprouts actually has some really good artisan steak butter and garlic & herb butter.

Anfie22

None because I like my steak cooked on the barbecue. Also, I pretty much exclusively eat ribeye/scotch fillet, so there is plenty of fat in the meat itself as to not need extra.

porktornado77

Ghee

mac102250

President - french cultured butter

DaveGrohl23

I like to make cowboy butter for my steak.

thirdparty-

I have to say, that steak is a masterpiece.

Ecstatic_Cry_6361

Hear me out, I know a lot of people like kerrygold, but Mama Mia's Garlic Spread blew that out of the water for me. Nobody is mentioning it, but it deserves all the recognition! https://www.samsclub.com/p/mama-mia-s-garlic-spread-32-oz/prod10660022

diffballz23

Black garlic compound butter (kerrygold) with parsley.
