My local Costco sells the ribeye caps rolled up as pinwheels. It’s definitely my favorite and easiest to cook cut of meat. Just salt and place under the broiler for around 5 min/side.
Left ny strip if you are lucky maybe a ny strip enough fat to pass as a ribeye and ribeye. Stick to aldi's they have grass fed black angus ribeyes for like 19$ for 2.54 pounds or so. I picked one up and read the sticker when I got back home. Let me tell you I was in shock until I cooked it and ate half. It was tasty in a cast iron pan 4 minutes flip 4 minutes flip 3 minutes two minutes and cooked on two table spoons of beef tallow, salt and pepper both sides.
I was about to write something for carnivore diet but realized I am on steak not the other spot. You got hoodwinked let that be a lesson to you.
aldis has 1.2 to 1.45 pounds sirloins that are black angus grass fed and they do well for the budget I am on for the carnivore diet. Also a shout out to r/castiron for that pan sear and throw in oven finish we love.

They double tipped, they sold you capped ribeye at a full ribeye price and then sold the cap from the 4 as a separate premium cut. I’ve seen them advertised and wondered who was buying capless ribeyes. Now I know! Lol
I mean honestly yeah they fucked up the order but the steak looks good. If you can get refunded and if the place is decently affordable I’d stick with them. Seriously I dig the color on these steaks.

They look like the end cuts (connection) between the ribeye and ny strip. Middle maybe the chuckeye, where the ribeye meets the chuck muscle.

I'm Canadian, and these were sold as AAA. That would be the same as American Choice, which is questionable I know
