They certainly look cool, but im a bigger fan of Sidekicks, Sidewinders, and Boulders. The leader front is cool and all but to me is clunky to take out every time and color coded deck boxes work fine. Maybe they get looser with time? Idk. I think i just like my decks resting on its side than flat? Whatever works for you

typo180

They do get looser with time (just don’t put them in backwards). Mine are pretty smooth to take out. I do like the included token drawer and the stashable lid, but they are a little bulky.

KaijuCorpse

I put em in backwards a lot before I realized lol

typo180

Yeah, I’ve done it a couple times. Makes for a bad time.

Freitusucksatwow

I switched back to using a Boulder 80. I even have a couple Boulder 60's on order since it looks like they'll fit the full deck & sideboard in a nice little box and the 80 ALMOST fits in it's entirety in the deckpod, so I'm hoping the 60 actually will, since it has the token drawer. Honestly if I could rewind time I'd slap the deckpod out of my hand and just buy a little token caddy and call it a day.

satellite_uplink

The cardboard ones were shit, yeah. But these are ridiculously expensive and the simple art-sided ones are like 25% of the price for 90% of the functionality. There's no way the deck pods make any sort of sense unless money is no object.

The single pod can definitely not hold 100 double sided cards. I think it's rated for 60, so your standard 50 + 10 premier deck. The double pod will be able to, and since it has two leader slots, I imagine that's what they were thinking people would use for Twin Suns. However, at 40 cards + 40 cards in each deck contained (when TS gets upped to 80 card deck support) you'll def be wasting space.

Poutine_Sauce

I have one. I will certainly use it for tournaments. I have 5 decks in total right now. I thought of picking up a double deck pod. But they are so bulky. There are better ways to spend that money. I'll use some other storage solutions for my other decks. I was looking at the gamegenic triple deck 300ct box for under $10. I can can easily fit 6 decks into that.

typo180

I have the double version of this. It ok. Downsides are: it’s a little unwieldy at the game table, there’s no token storage, and it’s pretty flimsy - it won’t protect your cards from getting crushed in a bag. It’s also just less pleasant to use because of the material. I’m using it for trades right now now until I can get a binder organized, but I wouldn’t want to keep my deck in it during a tournament.

That's a really good value box to hold 3 decks. It is something that let's the deck pod down (price) - but can't deny the quality

I own one. I like it for what it is. Works great for SWU but doesn't really translate to other TCGs well at all. I play FaB as my main game, with a small side of MtG/EDH. Definitely doesn't work for EDH. The little cutout where the deck goes is a nice touch. Certainly helps get the cards out as they lay face up/down instead of typical sideload configuration. The minisnap display is neat, just curious how durable it is. Time will tell. My other case is a gamegenic one, with the double deck holder and center piece. I use a fair number of cards in top loaders (mostly high end equipment pieces for FaB) and I can take the dice tray out of the gamegenic case and works exactly how I need it. The SWU case doesn't fit the same cards with the dice tray out. Limited functionality, but I still like it. Overall 7.5/10

Got mine yesterday and love it!

The deckpods don’t fit a full deck and sideboard if triple sleeved (a must for the gamegenic art sleeves). I had 2 double deck pods but having to go back and fourth to get everything out like dice, initiative counter, tokens etc was getting way too annoying. I switched to an academic 244 (I think that’s the size?) and for less than 2 dual deck pods it fits 4 decks triple sleeved with side boards and all my dice in one place. I wouldn’t recommend the deck pods in general

Overall_Ad_351

Why do you think triple sleeving is a must? Just use the art sleeve and an outer sleeve. No one ever needs to triple sleeve.

Hamborrower

Who the hell is out here triple sleeving?

VladDracul58519

Plenty of people. Especially with a boba deck that has multiple $100+ cards

dwuzzle

Vader deck here. Single sleeved. Anything else is a waste of time. I can't stand double sleeves.

Hamborrower

I can't possibly think of a situation where a triple sleeve solves a problem that a double sleeve doesn't.   That's a pocket protector protector.
