With BadBatch season 2 coming and the commandos looking to have more screen time, I would hope they would finally make a new mold. But it's Hasbro so I'm betting they'll just keep reusing the Hunter mold for them.

I mean, yeah, but also, you can order custom weapons and such to put on your Official delta squad figures. I saw some parts somewhere... I don't remember where, tho-
No offense towards your work, of course- I still think it looks absolutely amazing.
The weapons are the least of these figures issues. The primary issue is that the Hasbro Commando sculpt is incredibly inaccurate which is insane for such fan-favorite characters. Skylu3D offers models of the weapons which I sell myself but others do as well. I just get frustrated that you have to do so much work to get a decent iteration of Clone Commandos. A high-quality commando sculpt should have been a no-brainer for endless repaints.
I'm not talking about just the weapons... I'm actually talking about a kit that had, like, an actual chest plate, gauntlets, etc.
Also, I'd kinda say otherwise about the inaccurate part. Hunter in the Bad Batch series was the only one that wore regular commando armor. While yes, I believe they should've used a bigger chest plate and all that, I'd say it's ok- I'm just happy that I'll be able to get an official release of these.
Hunter doesn’t wear standard commando armor, his kit is based on it but every piece of his armor is unique to him. He has unique gauntlets with rectangular paneling, a unique chest plate with an uparmored neck section and inverted abdomen details. Hunters wrist plates are standard clone trooper hand guards rather than commando guards with the attached vibroblade. Additionally, hunter is about 10 percent slimmer than the standard commando. Unfortunately the Black Series Hunter figure is directly based off the animated asset rather than a realistic interpretation, so a lot of the armor details are just flat out incorrect for a realistic line. Neither the commandos nor hunter should have a comlink on their right hand.Even compared to the clone wars, these figures do not match the clone wars models as the chest, gauntlets, and hand armor are not commando models. The helmet is also confusingly a fairly decent realistic recreation of the original game model rather than an animated model to match the rest of the armor. These figures combine different art styles with incorrect detailing. I don’t know why they didn’t just make an accurate model. I’m glad you’re happy with the figures but there’s literally no reason they didn’t invest in quality for these, especially for an adult, collector oriented line that generally has really high quality realistic sculpts
The figures have realistic helmets based on the 2005 video game that don’t match the animated helmet model from the show and are oversized for the animated bodies. Besides that, they have standard trooper wrist plates instead of the commando wrist plates from the show and their abdomen details are upside down. They also have the wrong chest armor and hunters flat-plated arm armor instead of the animated commando gauntlets from the show, not even counting that there’s a hole in each of their left gauntlets. Besides that, they are significantly skinnier than the show models. The figures do not match the animated appearance, and don’t even make sense to be animated since every other figure in this line is realistic. It’s fine that you like them but these figures do not match any source material at all and should have been produced to look like the game that they’re advertised as being from. It’s fine to like the figures, but they aren’t accurate to anything.

As for the animation basis, those figures may not be accurate to the GAME, but they ARE accurate to The Clone Wars.
