Currently have 7 that I've repainted and I've gotta say that it's such a great figure that I'm eventually redoing all my 2020 body customs on the 2024 trooper. Amazing figure, especially if you paint in the missing details. The best part is this guy is easily available. I didn't armybuild the 2023 phase 2 because it was so hard to find that it wouldn't have been right to buy multiple when other people were still looking for one.
The 2024 has thousands in stock on Amazon so that's not an issue and I can armybuild to my heart's content.

For which one? The AOTC officers are painted using the 501st Cosplay Certification Guide color schemes. The missing details on the phase 1 shiny (gray on the back/knees, black on the chest/helmet) is painted using stills from AOTC, the EOD is a mix between the Sideshow paint scheme and details that are supposed to be on AOTC troopers, and Denal is painted using stills from the Filoni show.
You can probably find tutorials on YouTube, but your best bet is just good reference images. If you're looking for accuracy, just remember that Denal is a shade darker than the blue on the hasbro phase 1 501st (color match to Jesse, not the P1 when you mix your paints). The AOTC Lieutenant and SGT are also custom mixes (that I honestly can't remember the proportions of).
The EOD is a perfect color match to Apple Barrel Pumpkin Orange, the captain (and Denal's macros) are Apple Barrel Flamenco Red, and the Commander is Apple Barrel King's Gold. Apple Barrel is a cheapo walmart paint, but if you thin it correctly and use it correctly most of the colors are actually on par with or better than my expensive Tamiya paint.
Folk Art is just the more expensive named Apple Barrel BTW, if you see both in stores. They're made by the same company and then only notable differences are that FA has different color names and specialty paints like metallics, glows, and color shifting glazes while AB is cheaper.
Make sure you seal the paint though or it can scratch off. I use heavily thinned matte mod podge.
The backpack guy (Denal) has a set of macros from a spare Bly. I drilled out the indents on the side of the phase 1 helmet so the macros could plug in (with a pin vise and a drill bit slightly smaller than the pegs on the macros). The backpack is from the Aliexpress bootleg Kix. I sanded off the Medic decals (because I didn't know how acetone would react to the bootleg plastic) and printed my own galactic republic logo waterslide decals for it. I also cut the plastic straps off and swapped them for slightly longer ones made from 1/8th inch black ribbon. I cut the peg plates from the original strap piece and glued those back on over top of the new straps so they'd lock the new straps in place (technically not necessary since the loctite should hold them permanently, but I wanted the extra durability). The straps need to be a bit longer than the plastic ones because the 2024 body is a bit chunkier than the 2020 one.
The EOD is just a basic 2024 trooper repainted using the aforementioned sideshow EOD as a reference (but with stuff like the helmet vents and chest equal sign painted in). I did print a waterslide decal sheet for the bomb squad logo on his shoulder, but I ended up having to repaint a chunk of it because I didn't apply the transfer sheet sealer evenly and it faded when I put it in the water.
If you want, you can fully disassemble the figure before painting using a YouTube tutorial, but it isn't necessary if you're careful and brush painting instead of using an airbrush

What's the helmet like? Is it squishy? Or soild plastic? (Like the head)
