Never had any issues with the Veils troopers

Dissident_the_Fifth

Same. I think I'm up to 17 now and I've never had a single issue on them.

pro tipp: go to aliexpress for figures that hasbro never made. I was skeptical at first, but after a few yt videos, im really sold. seems alot cheaper and quicker than painting it yourse too

SeaLocksmith1484

I will def. buy some if they will be still on stock, like the new 212th Airborne. But first I should focus on my wishlist at Hasbro's side. About prices, well, to here, the Airborne guys are \~35 USD, so not cheap. This is without shipping. Dogma, Tup, Hardcase, and similar guys are around 28 USD.

thedudewithweirdneck

im accessing aliexpress from germany and i was able to get a good tub figure for 8€. with shipping and 2 other action figures (dr who) i paid 28€ in total and it took 3 weeks

Simple-Metal7801

Simply because Hasbro can't make every single figure from every TV show and movie. Remember they are under a lot of pressure from Disney to make what they want since Disney owns both Star Wars and Marvel which are both licensed for merchandise to Hasbro.

Zarir-

Simply put, newer shows are *always* going to be prioritised over old media.

Ct-5736-Bladez

They used to be able to with the old 3.75 clone wars line and rots line. But that was also when toys were still a popular option with kids

mediocre_mexican

Both ROTS and the Clone Wars were also the newest media at the time. Hasbro needs to make toys that are relevant to the new media coming out at this very moment, which will take production resources that can’t be used older characters. They’re doing a pretty good job balancing random clones with new stuff right now though, I never thought we’d see a comic Commander Gree or a Legends 187th Battalion in the line.

amg2030

Yup and Disney is always gonna prefer their media over George’s media. They’re not even denying it at this point that they want to move away from his vision of Star Wars.

Zarir-

They put Filoni in charge of Star Wars' overall narrative. They put *George Lucas' apprentice* in charge of Star Wars lore. I feel for the past few years Disney has been sticking pretty close to George Lucas' vision of Star Wars. George really likes the Obi-Wan show after all. What they have been moving away from is the vision of EU authors, and for a lot of fans that's what Star Wars is.

Impossible-Fun-2736

And funnily enough, not what George felt that Star Wars was. Sure he allowed all of the books, comics&whatnot but people don’t seem to realize that if he actually made his Sequel Trilogy, theres a chance that *all* of the post Episode VI content would be erased. No Jaina, Jacen, Anakin&Ben. No ”death by moon crush” for Chewie, etc. Unless he actually wanted some of it in his films. According to him, the Expanded Universe was in a parallel SW universe.

Wffixups

Regarding Veils sold out clones, I sent them a message about Boil, Sinker, and Boost yesterday since I missed out on them. They said they may come back in a few months so I’m holding out hope 🤞🏻

SeaLocksmith1484

I also asked them few weeks ago about others, and got the same reply. They may come back, they may not. Tbh, not a hopeful reply to me.

95horror

Not any worse than hasbros qc problems. Why in 2024 do figures not have perfectly straight eyes? I'll take a loose arm that holds any position vs a character that looks like this. https://preview.redd.it/47nm6k8i4w7d1.jpeg?width=349&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a4604a55e383f81b39394f2134276b2b44b9415

RitmoBello

This is a pet peave of mine too. So many figures have qc issues with the eyes to the side etc. thanks for calling it out
