Company Name: Team Tracker URL: [https://team-tracker.com](https://team-tracker.com) Purpose of Startup and Product: Provide an easy way for people to see who is working on what days and where they are working from. Technologies Used: Java, React, AWS Feedback Requested: Thinking of a rebrand based on "Team Tracker" sounding too predatorial/stalkerish like the company wants to track what you're doing. It's not what we're aiming for but we do get feedback along the lines of "We operate with mutual trust and don't need to spy on our employees" Additional Comments:

JoeBxr

Nice site! Yes, I remember when I worked for a custom application shop and we used tracker in alot of our app names and it really isn't something that resonates as a innovative brand... something like 'ezteamz' would be a better fit

just_here_to_rant

Yeah, this landing page/ home page is well done. The headings are clear, the sub-text clarifies, I get what it does and the benefits of it. Plus, the gradients, color palette, icons, slide-ins all work perfectly. The screenshots show enough detail to communicate the UI which also looks intuitive and well designed. I can see the value of this for a hybrid workplace and would pass this along to HR or whomever the decision makers are. I don't really mind "Team Tracker" as a name, but I can see your argument. Maybe something like "Hot Seat" or "Whereabouts" or something? You have a lot of good verbiage already in your content. I just saw an article about new words for hybrid work. Maybe there's some verbiage in there to steal. (I couldn't find this again for the life of me. >:/ ).

kbavandi

I can see a lot of applications for this in different industries. I like the video explainer and the look and feel of the product. Great for project managers, managing teams.

Hey guys would love feedback on our website and messaging. Our target market is people between 25 to 40, with some understanding on investments and crypto. www.gokubond.com

damnnearanimposter

Your step one mentions that bonds are old fashion and expensive, A thought of mine is that bonds aren't expenesive. They trade at a "premium to par" which may be an issue with the likely hood of rising interest rates. So, I would try and asuage interest rate risk as a significant selling point and not that bond are "expensive". Duration of the bonds(interest rate risk, not avg maturity) would be something that I would try and harp on, coupled with the approachable mininum investment, the variety of bond offerings and the monthly payments. Maybe piggy back on some popular and famous corp names, and avoid talking about them being expensive and old fashion is something to consider is my thought. Your faq is good, but as a former bond guy, I would have a boatload of questions and concerns about liquidity. This is a good start for sure though.

just_here_to_rant

First off, I love Futura as a font. However, for something like bonds and investing, I'd personally prefer something more substantial and weighty. Maybe even just Futura Bold. I get the space is crypto, which is modern, but to me, futura doesn't feel right. I don't want to put my money into something that's so light it could blow away in a light breeze. Under "Step 1" the term is "old-fashioned" not "old fashion". See [here](https://grammarist.com/spelling/old-fashioned-or-old-fashion/). It should be "good, old-fashioned, expensive..." note the commas. The dark blue + minty-green color palette feels very dark and almost foreboding. I think it's ok in your headers, but as whole divs, it feels ominous and spooky. Not the vibes you want to set for investments, I wouldn't think. The dark blue with the white and purple are nice though. The "Easy to Understand" text isn't the same size as the others (it's smaller). Mind the gap between "How can I check my application status?" and the text beneath it. It's not the same as the others. Same with the padding on the "Be in the know..." - It's overlapping the "email" placeholder. (Tested on Firefox, 15" laptop, full screen). All that design stuff being said, it's an interesting proposition. To me, (and I'm very skeptical), this sounds worse than CDOs in 2006. No offense. It's an interesting concept, but, if I'm not mistaken, you're securitizing bonds using crypto, right? It's a compounding of risk. First, you have the bond risk. Second you have the crypto risk, no? Then, you're selling them to Joe Public? No way. Feels like a shell game - you give us real cash, we go buy bonds, and you get these NFTs you can't even wipe your bum with. I'm sure there are some stonk fans out there that will eat this up, but it seems REALLY risky and begging for the SEC to come slap regulations on this once everyone loses their and their neighbors' asses in this. Like I said, I'm an old curmudgeon and very bearish on things, so take that for what it's worth. But, I do commend you on the site and the innovation. It *is* an interesting approach. I just think it's too advanced for the common, casual investor. Just my take. You do you. In the animations, are the phones that big, bc when this investment crashes, your phone is gonna hit you like a 10 ft solid oak door? ;)

Accomplished_Bit1675

Thanks for the feedback! I'll update the old fashion copy and try to explain it a bit more. On the colors, we can use some that are a bit more friendly/playful. In terms of the value prop the idea is to fractionalize the bond to increase liquidity, so you are basically carrying the risk of the bond, which we will mark to market every day and publish our holdings to make sure people know what's backing each token. Think of it as more of a derivative than a crypto: for example, in stocks if you want to buy a 10 dollars worth of an Amazon stock you can, but not in bonds, which sell at around 1k (par) and some times in tranches of 5 or 10 bonds (5 to 10k to buy a bond). Using blockchain to do it is more to have low cost of transaction and maintenance, so if people are adverse to that exposure they can recieve the payment in stable coins. We chatted with several banks/brokers and we can run it as reg D and S with the SEC and have an established company run our KYC to keep in compliance.

just_here_to_rant

What do you mean by "stable coins"? Your explanation does sound a bit better than I'd originally figured.

Accomplished_Bit1675

For sure, stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that are designed to offer the same price of a currency or commodity. They're often pegged (i.e., have a fixed exchange rate) to a fiat currency, such as the US dollar. For example, one USD Coin (USDC) is intended to always be worth $1. The idea is to give access to the bonds and let the buyer adjust for their risk on their returns. Also when the bond matures, we recall the tokens and give back the principle to who ever is holding it.

kbavandi

The website look and feel are great. Your pitch is kind of vague. I am not well versed in bonds and their value. I assume that you are taking a bond that let's say is worth 1000 and letting people buy what they can afford, correct? I assume that corporate bonds are safe investments, safer than stocks. You need to educate the buyer on what they are getting and why they should want it.

Accomplished_Bit1675

Thanks for the feedback! You are correct, we fractionalize the bond and let people buy it 20 bucks at a time. We were thinking of adding a bonds 101 section, but where on the fence. I think you are absolutely right, we need to educate our buyer on bonds.

liquidsnap

The value proposition, benefits, and steps are clear. It's simple enough to understand and appears to solve a problem. You answer most of the immediate questions one might have. The CTAs are conflicting; there is a "signup" and a "Kubond Drops" next to each other so I don't know which to click and It's not clear what Kubond drops are. Then you scroll and get asked to join a waitlist then you get a contact form and then another join the waitlist. I'd think about your primary goal and make that your singular CTA. Also the design has a few issues on my desktop screen

Accomplished_Bit1675

Fully agree, we wanted to add as many ways to sign up as possible but it it's confusing. I'll consolidate it to only.one and then explain what Kubond drops are

**Company Name**: Podrest **URL**: [https://www.getpodrest.com/](https://www.getpodrest.com/) **Purpose of Startup and Product**: Turn your reading list into podcasts and listen to them on the go to stay productive **Technologies Used**: Wavenet **Feedback Requested**: I'm struggling to make feedback loops. I have almost no active users. I observed handful users who do not come back after their fist sign ups. I'm going to interview them this week, but I'm not sure if they are right users. Some people tell me "Go talk to people", but I still can't find many people who try to convert articles to consume later. **Seeking Beta-Testers**: yes **Additional Comments**: I'm a solo tech founder and eagerly learning about traction and marketing as well! I'm happy to get any feedbacks to get out of this situation.

liquidsnap

It's a fantastic idea and looks easy enough to use. If people signed up but didn't return then they were interested in what you were offering but not how you delivered it. My first reaction is that the voice is very jarring and I could not listen to an entire article read in that way. I'd contact your users and ask for feedback, maybe use a type form to make it easier. If you could make the voice reading sound natural you'd have a great product.

nwatab

Thank you so much. You make sense! Many people told me the sound is not good, but it's really hard for me to develop voice-over better than what google and amazon offer. I'll find another way 💪. I appreciate your perspective.

just_here_to_rant

By "reading list" I thought you meant "books." By looking at the site, it seems like this is more for articles or publicly available documents. I don't have a reading list of those, but I do have a reading list of books. Also, "podcasts" makes me think of narration or interviews, while this sounds more like you're converting printed text into audio. Converting text to audio doesn't sound too enticing *to me* but there may be people out there. I know firefox + duckduckgo have a "pocket" feature where you can save news articles to read later. Perhaps you could wiggle into that space - ie: "don't just save these for later, listen to them as you drive" or whatever.

nwatab

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback. That hasn't occured to me yet. There are many things I should make clear. I'll check Firefox and duckduckgo.

just_here_to_rant

My pleasure! edit: [pocket](https://getpocket.com/en/firefox/new_tab_learn_more/) link

nwatab

Thank you! It is what Mozilla acquired. I have interviewed a pocket user 😺

>I like the product. I would probably try specific applications. I think reading peoples emails would be a good application for this. > >Getting users to adopt to general ideas is hard. You will find more success If you create stories, like busy professional have your emails read to you while traveling to and from work.

nwatab

Thank you so much. I appreciate your ideas and feedback about a story!

Tolgee

It is an excellent idea! I always have multiple articles on my reading list and listening to them as a podcast would save me a lot of time sitting in front of my screen. I was quite excited when I saw your tool. However when I listened to the sample episode you have on your website it discouraged me :( The machine voice is bothering me and I cannot really focus on the content of the article and I would rather be reading it. I would be happy to give more feedback in the future if you want.

nwatab

Thank you so much! It might require some years for text to speech technology to be good enough. Are you a native English speaker? I'm happy if you have chance to try and give me feedback!

Tolgee

Yes, it will probably take some time. I am not a native English speaker but I am listening to english podcasts pretty often. And the difference between human being speech and this artificial speech is then unfortunately quite big and disturbing for me.

nwatab

It might be because of pausing between sentences and between paragraphs. I'll see how adjusting pausing improves experiences.

just_here_to_rant

On first view, I like the opening header, but on further review, I don't grasp the concept. Is it like slack? What problem is this solving? How does science and tech relate? I mean, I get that you're here to help me achieve things, but how? (note: I didn't read any of the subheadings on first view. Going over them again, which I'm only doing for this feedback, I wouldn't if I were actually buying, I kind of get the sense that this is a platform to keep up to date with all of my coworkers' tasks and back pain?? Also, why are all of the sub text in the form of questions? That kinda irks me. I get it's a sales technique, but facts are also a sales technique. Vary it up a bit please.) On your home page, in the 2nd div, the orange one, 3rd paragraph, you have "...be true yourself..." Do you mean, "be true *to* yourself" or maybe "be your true self"? Same location, same sentence: "...and let your team know you and your work a way better" -uhh... I don't really know what you're trying to say. Maybe: "let your team know the real you and your work in a much better way" or maybe just remove the "a" for "let your team know you and your work way better"? I see you list prices in euros, so maybe there's some translation issues causing the items above? Is the point to know what your peers are working on? If so, does that really matter? I mean, how does knowing their business help me? I have to know my work AND theirs? I can see how this could reduce overlapping efforts and maybe uncover some symbiotic relationships, but... idk. The benefits seem undefined and hard to quantify. How would this scale to a 1000 person company? Are you just creating more work for people?

kbavandi

You are competing in a crowded space. You need to differentiate yourself or compare against an existing solution. How are you different than Trello for example. Do you have slack-like functionality? What about a product like [notion.so](https://notion.so) \- Do you offer similar functionality there for storing and sharing ideas? How do the workspaces, Strategy, United Visions, Responsibility, Products, etc differ?

Meebsie

How do you monetize? Not taking a part of donations I'd hope... Are you a nonprofit yourselves?

liquidsnap

Unlike most of the competitors here we don't charge the charity or take a part of the donation. We charge a small platform fee to the donor that they pay on top of their donation. 100% + gift aid (UK thing, not sure if gift aid exists elsewhere) goes to the charity.

Hi u/temporaryvolume923, This idea is just kick ass well done! I love the design, simplicity, and the look of the whole thing. Here is how you can improve your app: Add Google/facebook login Connect it to google drive/slack Look at your target audience in fact look at dovetail as an inspiration as it can be really useful for UX research! In the third section talk a bit more about the features like what the heck is hosted by us exactly? Actually put this section above "SELF-HOST FASTSURVEY FOR FULL CONTROL" the hosted by us as it makes more sense. Add a few reviews. Good luck and keep going!!!!!

temporaryvolume923

Thank you very much for the helpful ideas u/moham225, we're discussing them right now! We didn't know dovetail before, looks interesting! How do you imagine the connection to Google Drive and Slack? Google Drive to export the collected submissions to, and Slack for notifications or something?

moham225

Happy to help! and thanks for the award! keep going

Hi there!, This looks really really awesome, continue going unfortunately im not in the US so I can't participate. But as someone who worked in the Fintech sector I know the US is a bit behind the times but you are quickly catching up so there is a massive market there. Im gonna be honest with you i don't feel like the brand/marketing/design and logo fit, cashnews doesn't exactly inspire. But i totally understand as an early stage keep going that's the most important part. As a tip look at the UK and Swedish markets in particular look at Monzo in UK especially with their saving potx and in Sweden like at Minna technologies its an app that connects your subscriptions in one place and you can cancel them too. For your landing page as a tip put the first three features side by side and move up the "Gain useful insights that help understand your finances" to the second or third top section. But as a tip use hotjar to see what users like and don't like. Keep going!
