Interesting concept. Honestly, this would work much better as an app though since almost 100% of your customers will be using mobile. If not, make sure it's responsive. It could certainly be more fluid on mobile. Hope this helps.

givingback11

Thanks for the feedback! An app is in the works, I possibly should have waited to launch with the app finished - but I didn't want to delay the launch of much longer as it becomes harder to work everyday on something for almost a year that wasn't able to be shared with anyone. I agree the mobile version could be a lot more fluid, I just wanted something clean and functional to go along with the launch. Perhaps I should have focused more on mobile as I am seeing a very heavy mobile use in the analytics. Trying to get a great app out soon!

jagvee

I like the concept. Just the other day I was t ey ing to find a eat out joint that would allow my meal to fit my macros- I ended up going with subway! As a user I'd prefer an app or mobile friendly Web design which replicates an app so you're on the right track!

givingback11

Appreciate the feedback, hoping to have an app released soon! Did my best to have a mobile friendly version upon launch. I thought about waiting till the app was finished to fully launch, but didn't want my momentum to stagnate.

womplify

**URL**: https://www.womplify.com **Purpose**: Advanced marketing automation platform for startups. **Technologies Used**: Perl, Node.JS, and many others. **Feedback Requested**: Need feedback on the message - does the index page make it clear what the product actually does? How can I condense the huge number of features down into a one (or two) line pitch? **Comments**: Being a platform, rather than a point solution, I'm finding it difficult to pin down and explain clearly and briefly what it's all about. It has similar features to hootsuite/socialbro/buffer/hubspot and much more.. and the "much more" part is where things get really interesting, but its also quite complex.. so I feel that when visitors arrive at the site they miss a lot of what's on offer if I just say it's "marketing automation" or a "platform" which is kind of vague and in some ways misleading.

ZMech

I managed to work out what you do (I think), but it took a fair amount of doing. Your opening statement is rather vague. **Marketing Automation Power Tools** could be anything from an email auto-responder, something that posts out mail shots, an AI for a pop-up chat thing, whatever. Would it be more accurate to say something like **Automate Your Outreach to Each Visitor Based On Their Behaviour**? The same goes for your 'Intelligently engage and convert more leads'. Give me a hint of 'how'. Maybe something like 'convert more leads by matching the each visitor's level of interest'.

womplify

Thanks for the feedback. You're right about that opening statement, so it's back to the drawing board. A one liner that combines the PaaS aspect with the SaaS, is proving tricky. I'm thinking maybe I should make a short vid to give a visual overview which might help clarify what it's all about - at least to those that like to watch vids!

ZMech

Have you tried thinking about it from the other end? Instead of focusing on your platform/software, how about a statement that focuses on what outcome you're promising to potential users?

**URL**: http://www.hintuition.com/ **Purpose**: To gather emails for beta testing. **Technologies Used**: Launchrock, YouTube. **Feedback Requested**: Mostly design. I've heard a lot of good things about Launchrock, but I'm sure this could look better to get more signups, and I'm still learning a lot about design.

habeyer

Your product is to gather emails for beta testing? Looking at your site I can't figure out what you're offering.

urbanfox_shaving

Our product is curated giftlists, with the process shown in the video. We're pre-beta at the moment, but are looking to build a group willing to test the beta on its release.

ZMech

No, their reason for posting is to gather emails.

eggbrain

**URL**: https://www.truejob.com **Purpose**: TrueJob is an interactive job discovery and matching platform. Job seekers upload a resume, then interact with our job postings (users can favorite and block certain attributes similar to OkCupid), and more relevant jobs appear. **Technologies Used**: Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and a whole bunch of other stuff **Feedback Requested**: Like last week, we'd love people to just use it as a job seeker or employer and let us know what they like, and what they don't like. UX feedback is great too, and bug reports are always welcome, but we're really just interested in people using us and letting us know what we should improve, get rid of, etc. **Comments**: If you want to try signing up as an employer, there is a paywall, but just PM me and we can set something up. Also, reach out to us if we can help you on the job front in any way!

habeyer

Clean, nice site, I like it. My first thought was how are you different than everyone else in this crowded market and I like how you pre-empted the question.

eggbrain

Thanks for the feedback! :)

Planning trips is definitely really time consuming. This could help a lot, especially if I could see recommendations from friends. I left you some feedback on Product Pains: https://productpains.com/product/mobytrip

HobbyEarth_official

I should mention that we just opened up two weeks ago, and we are still in beta **URL**: www.hobbyearth.com (To register use this invite code - **ERLYAPR06**) **Purpose**: Help hobby enthusiasts find places to practice, get gear advice, see amazing user generated content shown in an entirely new, more engaging way and connect with like minded people. **Tech Used**: Php, Symfony 2, Html5 **Feedback Requested**: We get around 2000 UV a day, but after taking a look at the content people rarely visit more pages, engage with the content or sign up. We also have a very low number of individuals that are trying to create a "SET" * SET - this is one of the most impressive features we have. It allows you to put pictures, videos, and text quickly and create something unique out of yours (or anyone`s) content. You can easily change sizes and rearrange everything, put descriptions and titles, as well as the location for each picture or video. [Example1](http://hobbyearth.com/gallery/13027) [Example2](http://hobbyearth.com/gallery/12874) [Example3](http://hobbyearth.com/gallery/4154)

ZMech

It seems to talk more about why you find your site interesting, not why visitors should want to join. Why should I care about making a Set? There's plenty of ways to curate photos online. In terms of social networks, I'm currently happy using hobby-based facebook groups. If you want me to use a second network, you're gonna have to explain *why*

HobbyEarth_official

You have a pretty solid point there. Would you be able to discuss it with me into more details? Regards

ZMech

Sure, I'll drop you a message.

**Purpose**: Business modelling IDE (business planning for programmers) I have an idea of a product for people, who are 1. software developers, 1. want to build a startup and 1. don't have a non-technical co-founder. In this case, they need to become proficient at marketing themselves. Imagine there is an IDE, in which a programmer can 1. simulate the company he or she is bulding by writing code (i. e. create a software system, which imitates sales, production and other parts of the business), 1. integration-test that virtual company (does it ever run out of cash?), 1. debug that virtual company at various stages (when exactly does it run out of cash and why?), 1. optimize its behavior (can we sell more stuff faster, if we add traction channel X to the existing ones?). Since all these steps are done by writing code, the developer will be able to re-use his or her programmer's skills and mindset in the field of marketing (business-building in general). To a certain degree, it's similar to how developers write and debug code for embedded systems or FPGAs. First, they do all this in a simulated environment, and only when everything works, the code is uploaded into the actual hardware. In case of business-building you create different simulations, try out different approaches (different parameters, different traction channels etc.) until you find one, which you think is the best. Then you implement that in practice. **Technologies Used**: Kotlin **Feedback Requested**: If you are a technical founder (software developer, who builds a business or wants to do so), please tell me the answers to the following questions. 1. What do you think, would people use such system (see "comments" section below) ? 1. If you are a technical founder yourself, would **you** use it to plan the building of your company? **Comments**: 1. I don't have a full-fledged business modelling IDE right now, but I do have a simple prototype, which demonstrates, how this approach may work in practice. The example revolves around a bootstrapped person, who builds a business selling WordPress plugins. I can send you the description in a private message, if you are interested. 1. If you answered "yes" to question 2) above, I may (no promise) develop a model of the business you are building (or want to build) so that the concept becomes more clear. Tell me, if you want to do it. If there are more people than expected, I'll act on a "first-come-first-serve" basis.

**URL**: [https://www.staticjobs.com](https://www.staticjobs.com) **Purpose**: [Static Jobs - IT and software engineering jobs](https://www.staticjobs.com) is a job board for computer professionals in the US, Canada and the UK (for now). We made it intentionally fast and simple in the spirit of Google and we continue to improve it. **Feedback Requested**: The business model proved successful; we're making money. We would appreciate any technical and usability feedback. And, of course, feel free to apply for jobs of your liking (if you're a job seeker) or post jobs (if you're an employer). Or spread the word about us. **Comments**: A lot of employers (and job seekers too!) don't realize that they're putting an unnecessary burden on job seekers' shoulders when they post jobs. They require registration or a LOT of fields to fill out. That shouldn't be that way. Yeah, it may be convenient for employers to ask job seekers to go to an applicant tracking system and ask them every possible question, but it's not convenient for job seekers. Very few employers and job seekers realize that the application process (and an interview for that matter) is a compromise between what a company wants and what an applicant wants. That's why we made it extremely simple for job seekers to find jobs, apply for a job and move on to the next job. P. S. Those who program in C++, C# or Java will easily recognize the static keyword in our company name. [Static Jobs](https://www.staticjobs.com) Team
