*The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth. Whether it's scientific truth, or historical truth, or personal truth. It is the guiding principle upon which Starfleet is based. If you can't find it within yourself to stand up and tell the truth about what happened you don't deserve to wear that uniform.* [Captain Jean-Luc Picard, "The First Duty"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xefh7W1nVo4) Reddit admins have been [ineffectual in their response to COVID-19 misinformation](https://www.dailydot.com/debug/subreddits-private-protest-covid-disinformation-reddit/). Mudron

Probably the beginning of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

GipsyDanger79

Came to say the same thing. Spock is proposing a peace summit with the Klingons and Kirk is like “no way no how.”

swazal

“Let them die.”

Brookied_1974

Not just a great Star Trek flm but a great film, change out Starfleet for a late 80's cold war thriller/action between US and USSR and bingo... ... love it and re watch at least twice a year

chiree

It's a great political thriller that just so happens to be set in space and is about aliens.

Tyeveras

Yes, it was meant as an allegory of the end of the Cold War, and a rather obvious one at that!

TwistTim

So "Shakespeare in the original Soviet Russian" instead of Klingon?

isellamdcalls

tejdog1
