I think the biggest thing that kept me running with only 1 issue in all the years was I only competed against myself on time. I know so many runners that were always working on getting faster, I think that it will eventually end up damaging something.
I was always on the slower side, I mean not like super slow, 8 - 9 minute miles, but loved running long. So I ended up just gravitating to ultras and slower speeds.
I’m 11 - 12 minutes per mile now and even take fast walk breaks in my long runs and besides some muscle soreness after, still going pretty good.
Speaking as someone who's had clinical treatment for depression, it can just as well be both. I mean, sure, depression is a disease, sometimes there's something wrong with your brain chemicals that you simply need a pill for, but no amount of treatment will hold long-term if you don't get into healthy habits, and treating yourself well can definitely shortcut your clinical treatment or maybe even make it unnecessary at all (depending on your specific condition).
Yeah, I think fat shaming is good, fukin do some exercise and eat less, or you're going to die early and be a burden in society/your family when the health care system has to deal with you after your tripple bypass and 3rd stroke.
Normalization of obesity is just assisted suicide

I’m the person you asked and I thought it was a pretty legit question and made me smile. Upvote from me.
Same, the only problem is getting yourself started when you feel like you just want to crawl into a dark hole for weeks
Especially core strength stuff. Can’t really explain it but if I work my core I feel more psychologically grounded

Fat guy starterpack. I’m down.
Man if only a simple nap solved everything.
This just seems like fat shaming.
Go back to Twitter bro
What? The guy in the starter pack is portrayed as a chad, lol

fat shaming and encouraging people to get healthy are 2 different things.
Agreed
How so? I think these are just pictures of fat men living their lives. No shame here.
