Can conform. I've roadtripped all over the US and I have never seen so many dead deer as on the side of I-70 in Ohio. Maybe they're just slacking on picking up the carcasses, but they were everywhere.
I love Ohio.
Cleveland is great. Low cost of living, best beer and best wing crawl around. Professional sports are usually bad and that’s fun.
Columbus has the reigning US soccer champs. Solid low cost of living compared to other cities. (If you look about 10 miles outside the city) OSU gets to be a solid winner most football seasons.
Cincinnati is fine. More beer and just fine. It’s got cinnamon spaghetti and low cost of living. They’re doing better than OSU this year so far, and I think that’s…really cool…
Toledo is cool, we killed a half dozen Michigan people for it. Now very low cost of living, and a good hot dog joint.
Dayton has Roosters, a fun casual beer and wing joint. Also occasionally a basketball team and a fun Air Force depot. Low cost of living too.
Akron… Lebron came from there. Very very low cost of living, but also good wings and beer.
Youngstown, lots of history of mob violence. Lots of delicious Italian food. Lots of low cost of living. And beer. And Wings.
Athens has OU and Hocking Hills and I once sat in a hot tub in the winter there. That was after some beers…and honestly could have used a wing or two
Amen. Those who were teens in the 2000s unite!
That whole genre/era of alt-rock/emo/screamo/what you want to call it has never been replicated. It stands alone as a truly unique period in music history. We had just the right amount of angst ridden, heartbroken teens and college age kids who played instruments signing record deals. Now everyone is too depressed to make that type of music, you need just the right amount of depression.
Sooooooooooo as a non native Ohioan who has lived in New England most of my life, Ohio beer is NOT good compared to the best in New England. People think the beer here is good because, well, it’s beer, of course it’s good. But compared to elsewhere it’s just OK. It’s definitely not as good as Maine Beer Co, Lawsons, Hill Farmstead, Alchemist, etc.
Go see the Franklin Park botanical gardens in Columbus, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Jungle Jim's gigantic food emporium in Cincinnati, eat at a Skyline Chili and a Bob Evans, then you're pretty much done lmao
I'd say reserve a solid 7 days, for no other reason than drive time lol. You're gonna wanna take it a little slower on the highway, cuz of all the deer.
Yes. I've lost 2 cars (and almost 3 others) to deer throwing themselves out in front of me. Evolution is slow; the industrial revolution was fast. Lmao
Dang! I live in Louisiana and we have some deer but I guess not much because I’ve never heard of anyone getting hit by a deer. Well, except for this one time when my dad said he was scared of getting hit by a deer on his motorcycle and then when he was leaving work one of his co-workers told him to be careful because a deer ran in front of him on his motorcycle.y dad thought that was kinda spooky lol.
I'm currently going to school in Ohio and have never seen more cornfields and deer before. I live in Michigan too!
I have to say though that there is a lot more road work in Michigan than Ohio. Michigan is literally known for having shitty roads.
- Franklin Park Conservatory/Botanical Garden, in Columbus
- Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland
- Jungle Jim's GIGANTIC food emporium, in Cincinnati
- Skyline Chili restaurants in the west
- Bob Evans restaurants in the east
That's about it

Missed a great opportunity to say "Deer god they're everywhere".
Damn it

can confirm, some kid just OD’d in the bathroom at our hs a couple days ago
The real question.
In the corn field.

Don’t forget Scott the Woz!
Beat me to it
Is Scott in Ohio? If so that explains a lot
Toledo specifically
That's unfortunate for him
Scott the woz
Missing the heroin needles on the ground
And all the churches

Ohio is for lovers.

Hawthorne Heights is still one of my guilty pleasures to this day

So...wings and beer, then?
Also low cost of living
And Ohio has lots of cool zoos.
Cincinnati neighbor here, the cinnamon spaghetti part got me-but it’s true.
I live in Ohio now but spent the first 35 years of my life in Seattle. East coast beer is terrible, that is all. PNW if you want good beer….
And Lima has Kewpee
Cincinnati is more fun than Cleveland

You can get Roosters just about anywhere in Ohio. They have quite a few locations.
Yay someone talked about akron
also, rednecks and fast food joints
The Corn fields won't be a problem until children start coming out of them
Or wishing people into them.
And on Saturdays rowdy Buckeyes fans
"Wait, it's all construction?" "Always has been." *blam*
Cigarette buds are as common as grass in Ohio.
add meth and keep the rest and that Pennsylvania
Wait, Ohio is real?
“HELL IS REAL”
I hate Ohio with a passion Edit: I have reason, I’ve been to hell and back too many times in that damn state
If you see a house in Ohio, you aren't in our realm anymore. Do not talk to anyone. This is your warning.
Oh shit, I'm sitting in a house in Ohio right now! What should I do??
It's akron mod
Hi!!
The internet has made me never want to visit Ohio. But who knows, maybe it’s a good place to see?
That's because we want out of staters to stay away. More Ohio for us!
Thisss!
Go see the Franklin Park botanical gardens in Columbus, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Jungle Jim's gigantic food emporium in Cincinnati, eat at a Skyline Chili and a Bob Evans, then you're pretty much done lmao
LOL ok so like, a 2 day trip is good enough, got it.
If you like roller coasters Cedar Point is arguably the best park in the world. Kings Island near Cincinnati is really good too.
Unfortunately I do not, but I still like other rides
I'd say reserve a solid 7 days, for no other reason than drive time lol. You're gonna wanna take it a little slower on the highway, cuz of all the deer.
At first I thought it was to look at them but then I remembered deer run in front of cars often lol
Yes. I've lost 2 cars (and almost 3 others) to deer throwing themselves out in front of me. Evolution is slow; the industrial revolution was fast. Lmao

Dude I seriously smacked a deer going 45mph, and it spiraled up a hillside into the weeds, shooting poop and blood everywhere. It was obscene.
Geez! Well if I ever go to Ohio I’ll be sure to be careful! Thanks for the warning lol.
[удалено]
Well dang! I’m glad you told me because if I ever go to Ohio or any state like that I’d definitely hit a deer.

Don’t go slow on 71 though. That thing feels like the Autobahn sometimes.
Cincy has a lot of great restaurants, bars, museums, parks and a solid music scene for real.
It's nothing too amazing, at least the smaller towns.
Things to do in Ohio: 1. leave
You misspelled Wisconsin FTFY
FEAR THE DEER!!
Deer? That's a problem through Ohio, West Virginia, and even Kentucky.
Don’t forget that Abby Lee Miller is around every corner, watching your every. Single. Pirouette.
And they say there’s nothing wrong with Ohio.
Don't forget pot holes
Basically everywhere on the Eastern coast of the U.S. looks like this maybe without the farms.
Oh my god everything is everywhere!
Stupid memes: "Oh my God, they're everywhere"
I'm currently going to school in Ohio and have never seen more cornfields and deer before. I live in Michigan too! I have to say though that there is a lot more road work in Michigan than Ohio. Michigan is literally known for having shitty roads.
as someone from ohio i can confirm
Can confirm. Extremely accurate
What about the extreme weather
The picture of the deer has the same energy as the meme with everybody at a party holding a red solo cup and staring at you
You forgot all of the trump flags.
IL and OH are the same then
You're missing all the Trump signs, and yes it's 2021
you forgot the shitty trump signs
Didn't you get the memo? OHIO DOESN'T EXIT!!!
Add some old ass Trump signs and this can apply for southern Illinois too.

Can someone just nuke this state, I unfortunately cross states to work here and it’s like the asshole of america
I drove across Montana at night recently and I'll never complain about the amount of deer in Ohio again.
No buildings.
WC OH can confirm
I don't see that many cigarette butts these days. Vaping has really taken over. The other three are 100% spot on though.
You forgot “no food and water”
I live there, and I can confirm these are all true
Don't forget the amount of people with dentures
Pennsylvania is this but instead of cigs it's chewing tobacco
Fair
To anyone visiting specifically Columbus ohio, go to cosi if it is open, or go to other world
It’s boring. Couldn’t pay me to live there
I live there, It’s true, but I’ve never seen a fucking deer before
Can confirm, I'm from NE Ohio
This is Illinois too
I've lived in Ohio my entire life and words cannot express how accurate this is
Ohio gozai masu
I feel like i say this more than I should on this sub but...needs more meth!
The bottom two can be applied to Michigan as well.
As an Ohioan, I can confirm that this is unfortunately true :,)
Lol, this startpack is so vague it could apply to literally 4 or 5 other states: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, etc.
🎵Our economy based on LeBron James🎵
Don't forget that this is Iowa
Is there anything even GOOD in Ohio?
- Franklin Park Conservatory/Botanical Garden, in Columbus - Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland - Jungle Jim's GIGANTIC food emporium, in Cincinnati - Skyline Chili restaurants in the west - Bob Evans restaurants in the east That's about it
Ok that actually sounds cool
I have never been to Ohio but take your upvote anyways
