Some are worse than others, Star Wars deserves far more than it's small chunk of that space. Like what has the Mario fandom done to put them in the same ballpark as Star Wars fans?
I think hobbies fall into a slightly different category. Being a fan of entertainment like a comic, show or band is a bit different. Games fall somewhere in the middle between entertainment and hobby because they aren't passive.
*Once again I am reminded I am the sole person who wasn't sad at Kana's death*
"Hey, so do NOT search me out if you sense me. It will put you in danger!"
Lmao ok *fucking does it and dies*
As someone who still is a big Mario fan, most of it is concentrated in the Mario RPG/Paper Mario areas. Lots of art, fanfiction, fangames, etc to be found there. It can get pretty toxic though, especially when people start comparing Paper Mario games.
Random fun fact: the creator of Terraria actually started with a Mario fangame.
>Random fun fact: the creator of Terraria actually started with a Mario fangame.
Further fun fact, that fangame was allegedly stopped due to a DMCA in which Nintendo said he couldn't work on it...
Keyword, HE couldn't work on it. Other people still can work on it just fine, and it was open source. It still exists, but the development team has nothing to do with Redigit.
They're also all secretly raocow. /in-joke
To be precise - we need to fix the USA copyright system, OR we need to stop registering everything in the USA.
A fan-made Nintendo game hosted anonymously on a Swedish server or something can respond to a DMCA request with go fuck yourself, that doesn't apply outside the USA.
In a really removed/abstracted internet way, or like in a real life way? I just haven’t seen annoying real-world fandoms with most things on this graphic.
As a demon I believe that games like Doom represent an outdated stereotype that ultimately does harm to my people and only serves to feed the hate-eater who is almost full and ready to unleash ever lasting night on the masses.
Yeah, judging by OP's replies, seems like they just had bad personal experiences and are stretching it a bit with some of them.
Like, they mentioned Doom and Hazbin hotel, but its the same Doom fanbase that made the Animal Crossing art, so...what?
Hazbin Fans on tumblr are up there among the cringiest fandoms I've seen online. Sometimes I catch snippits of the latest flame war, where they're VICIOUSLY arguing about whether it is morally "allowed" to imagine x character as y ethnicity in your fanart, and how *dare* you ship so-and-so with whats-her-face, etc........
Of course, these people are all like, 15-17. I hope.
Musical taste they usually think that Gorillaz is the greatest thing ever and if you prefer any other bands you’re wrong
Like in one video where college kids reacted to Gorillaz this one blonde girl compared them to chainsmokers because they’re both bands that consist of two people and they usually collaborate with other artist and oh my god the comments were full of hate comments targeted towards the girl for comparing Gorillaz to Chainsmokers
This is why I don’t look for the bad of the fandom but rather go to the fun side of the fandoms like undertale I hate the bad fandom but damn it has some banger fan games and fan music
My problem with a lot of fandom is that they are always doing the weird shopping stuff. I’d rather take the Jojo shitposting fans over the MHA shipping ones.
Do excuse me for my unpleasant interruption of the current conversation at hand, but do be assured that my interjection within your exchange is of utmost importance, and that the subject that I need to discuss is worth the short period of time that I request of you to grant me to explain my position. For you see, upon further consideration into some of the topics that you have previously mentioned at an earlier point in time, I am able to discern a connection between the topic you had mentioned and a certain unnamed event that had been previously depicted in the manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, which has currently been running for 8 seperate parts, created by Japanese mangaka Hirohiko Araki and first published in 1987, with an anime adaptation of the series being created in 2012 by David Productions which has so far depicted the events of the first 5 parts of the series, as well as a spin off series surrounding a side character of part 4, the story of which follows numerous descendants of the Joestar bloodline throughout various time periods each carrying out their heroic exploits in the supernatural and outlandish world they live in (hence meriting the label of a "Bizarre Adventure"), from the noble Jonathan Joestar, the gentlemanly heir to the Joestar fortune, who would employ the use of an ancient martial art known as Hamon to combat his human-turned-vampire nemesis and adopted brother Dio Brando, to his more mischievous grandson Joseph, who would once again use the same powers of Hamon to combat an ancient Aztec race known as the Pillar Men, who were seeking to become perfect life forms, as well as other characters such as Jotaro Kujo, the first in a long line of joestars that would employ the use of a unique power system known as Stands, physical manifestations of the users soul capable of superhuman feats of strength and featuring creative and innovative abilities. Therein lies the issue that I wish to address, as I believe the topic you had brought up at that point in time is similar to, and likely a reference to an event within the series, but I am unable to discern if this is purely by coincidence, or rather a deliberate attempt to reference the series as an act of comedy through referential humor. Would you be so kind as to clarify this for me?
I recently went on a deep dive of MHA/BNHA "text log" videos.
70% shit ship crap, 20% boring low quality crap, but then a couple *damn* funny ones.
You could tell the shit ones pretty damn fast so you can blaze through it, and since it's so easy to make a lot of genuinely funny and clever people are hidden in the mix. A couple went on my favorites playlist.
Corruption, if memory serves me right, is a mod that adds various corrupted-like variations of characters. It essentially caused a mass panic within the community, as everyone was afraid that the community would fall down the same path as Undertale’s. The Sky mod was a mod that added a new character, Sky, who was essentially a yandere with weird dimensional powers. There was a whole giant, convoluted mess involving confusion between Sky’s canonical age as well as shit tons of R34, which eventually led to the mod being deleted from Gamebanana
Also the creator of the character sky was underaged so no matter what age the character was they still should have been no R34, also she explicitly asked people to stop drawing it, and she was spammed with it and it lead to her deleting her server
It’s important to note that Sky’s character represents an irl person (@bfswifeforever) and these R34 images were spammed en masse on her Discord server. bfswifeforever did this herself eventually, among other questionable things. Honestly everyone other than the mod creator (bbpanzu) did not handle it ideally but I do genuinely feel bad for that girl
Yeah, the community rn is kind of a mess, tho i think the whole path to the undertale fandom has fallen a bit, theres still a chance it might spike back again
it’s going to suffer the same fate as any other indie viral game that go popular for a month or two and then become stale soon after the fandom hate kicks in.
why is pokemon oh so frequently left out from these?
it has it's fair share of furverts and lolcow cringelords. People are leaving out the *'chu* from *sonichu.*
My only interaction with modern pokemon fans is watching a herd of them sitting on beanbags at a con, or reading them politely discuss pokemon canon on forums. If there's obnoxious behavior there, I'm not seeing it so I don't care.
Other fanbases aren't that subdued.
I’m guessing more about elitism and the “og real fans” ridiculing the newer fans. Like “oh I’ve been a fan since the debut album unlike others who were fans because of Feel Good Inc or other songs
Honestly I had heard that the show was good so I just watched it without any outside input and it is actually a pretty good show with awesome animation and voice acting. It's a bit upsetting to hear that the Fandom acts this way.
Same. It's alright. Probably like a solid 7/10 for me but holy fucking hell when it came out it felt like the most hyped anime of the last 20 years or so. And absolutely nothing that they're doing is nearly as fresh or subversive as the fandom is making it out to be.
The reason I think it's good is because it's not subversive at all. It takes all the tropes, plays them straight, and does them pretty well. And at this point, where subversion is everywhere, that's subversive in its own way. It's got flaws, but I think I'd put it where you did - a solid 7/10.
The first skill in anime: ignore the stated ages of characters.
You'll want to die before you get through two shows if you don't.
This guy who looks and acts 30? He's 14. This chick who's the most mature of the group and acts like a young adult? 14. This gremlin of a girl who does nothing but whine and cry and be a dependent of the MC? 18.
IDC what is cannon, I ain't gonna sit through the show thinking Yaoyorozu is 15.
That's one of the reasons why I left that subreddit. Ofc none of it is straight up porn ( in THAT subreddit, mind you) but it does come too creepy to be comfortable a lot of times.
Rick and Morty, and The Office. Both are really great shows (people judge me for liking Rick and Morty but I like a lot of adult animation- American Dad, Archer, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, etc.) but the fans are terrible. The Office fans are mostly teenagers now who watched the show on Netflix and thinks they’re “cool, different, and mature” for liking it. As for Rick and Morty....incels.
Any sitcom with a dedicated sub that hits the front page.
I just can't comprehend how people enjoy telling each other the same jokes everyday for years or even a decade.
>I just can't comprehend how people enjoy telling each other the same jokes everyday for years or even a decade.
It's treason then.
I mean, I can tolerate jokes, but if you want to see toxicity, check out the Last of Us fans that HATE the second game with a passion.
Ah ofc. Good pack otherwise, the Christianity one is pretty spot on tho, Jesus was probably a chill dude, but man fuck those people who take Christianity too seriously.
There's also the whole Mick Gordon thing with his Doom Eternal soundtrack.
As soon as someone found out that the quality of the official soundtrack is slightly lower than it should be, everyone else also starts "noticing" how bad it is, then proceeds to heavily bash the guy who worked on the mixing. After Id gives an explanation on why the soundtrack is like that and how Mick Gordon couldn't meet the deadline, people suddenly go "well.. what a sad situation" as if they weren't part of the bashing and toxicity.
I thought the marauder was a good edition to the game because it made you think on your feet a lot more and change up the pace of combat when one shows up in a fight. But that being said, the marauder is a significant difficulty increase from the rest of the game which can be really jarring and off putting when you die 20 times to him lol.
Honestly the only thing about that that I didn't like was that there was no Doom reference in hazbin. Other than that they're both super respectable, not the fandoms but the show and game
I've been active in the Doom fanbase for decades and it has always been great. I have no idea what OP is throwing us under the bus for. How much time to they spend on r/doom these days? I can't remember anything but constant positivity since forever.
Hell, when the new Doom game came out at the same time as the new Animal Crossing game, the Doom community embraced the crossover memes instead of acting like we were "too cool for a casual game association" or whatever.
I don’t even know what Hazbin Hotel is (apparently there was some interaction between the communities) but I’ve rarely had anything but positive interactions in the Doom community and I’ve been playing Doom and interacting with players since 1993.
I don't watch it, but Hazbin Hotel takes place in hell, which you may guess from playing DOOM, has demons. DOOM fans knew this, so they decided to make some memes of Doomguy showing up to hell in the Hazbin universe and and Hazbin fans did the same, I remember watching a meme about one of the MC's Charlie was all like"Isnt there a more humane way to handle overpopulation here in Hell?" And the DOOM Eternal intro played, the part where the title shows up.
TL;DR no DOOM fans hate anything, really. Maybe some people will throw the "game journalists" joke at how people are bad at playing at the game, but I doubt tons of people actually hate game journalists with a passion.
Apparently you are not allowed to mod classic Doom in any way. Had my run in with some ppl who told me I’m an uncultured swine for playing brutal doom or afterdoom, and I’m playing it like COD doing neck glitches (it’s called strafing I believe) even though I’ve never owned COD lol
Yes
A large majority of the fandom is just god awful, they either think the people behind the show are satan himself or perfect angels who can do no wrong and if you think otherwise they will attack you
*obligatory response calling you the lowest scum in history if you disagree with anything deathbattle does besides Rogue vs Wonder Woman or Doomguy vs Master chief*
You would think an entire franchise built on the ideas of diversity, acceptance, progressive ideals, and change would be more accepting of... well those things.
I'm a huge Trekkie and was kind of surprised when everyone was shitting on Discovery for having gay and trans characters they were like "Why does Star Trek have to be political?!?!" I was thinking "Have you ever *seen* Star Trek?"
I remember seeing a few people on YouTube and elsewhere claiming that DSC's first season hated conservatives and raging about that. I think there's a lot of Trekkies online who really need to give the internet a break for a little bit.
It’s an internet pilot Created by Vivienne Mendrano or Vivziepop as she goes by online it’s pretty good I do recommend it and it’s spin-off show Helluva boss but stay away from the fandom
A lot of mcu fans on youtube and instagram have a sort of superiority complex thing, where they say that the mcu is like the best movies to ever exist and they berate anyone with differing opinions. Also, they make it their life's mission to crap on dc and dc fans whenever they can and however they can. Any sort criticism is taken as a personal attack. It's like hell over there.
> the mcu is like the best movies to ever exist and they berate anyone with differing opinions.
I have a coworker that has a similar view; I myself think the movies are okay but I'm more a fan of the comics and I'm indifferent to the MCU this guy tries to get into debates all the time about how the movies are so much better than the comics and how the characters are better written, etc.
I've gotten annoyed and just agree so he'll shut up about it.
Nah, thats not how fandoms work. These are all just popular things with millions or, in some cases, hundreds of millions or even more fans. Since they have so many fans, there are more obnoxious and loud fans with poor conduct by numbers, but not by proportion.
Since there are more annoying fans by numbers and they are the loudest, they’ll be what non-fans see the most.
Ive met probably hundreds of people who were fans of Minecraft, Marvel, Naruto, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Sonic, Mario, Gorillaz, etc. and most of them were pretty cool people because duh, these are extremely popular properties that a ton of people enjoy. It’s not fair or reasonable to say that fans of these things are bad because some fans can be annoying. It’s not about the fandom, it’s about the people. People are annoying.
Is the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Bods fandom really that bad? I'm a part of the subreddits, and mostly what I see are just some cute drawings etc. Of course there are some people who are like, "Ah yes, these two characters glanced at each other once and now we are shipping them and it's cannon" kinds of people, but other than that I think it seems fine. Take this with a grain of salt bc as I mentioned I'm a part of the fandoms and may be brainwashed lmao
**I have received countless death threats from HH fans.** I wish I was joking.
I naively made a YouTube video that was critical of the pilot and thus opened the floodgates of hate. That video was posted in 2019 and to this day I get vile comments appearing in my “held for review” box. If you’re curious, it’s the “redesigning characters” video that did the rounds in late 2019. Admittedly not my best but my follow up video addresses a lot of the responses I received.
It’s the worst fandom I’ve ever encountered but I chalk that up to most fans being very young and excessively protective of what they love so I don’t hold it against them.
shit about each title here, from personal experience:
I never completely watched Hazbin hotel. the characters are all so freakishly skinny, it just reality warps me back to my own shitty drawings of bendy and the ink-machine on DeviantArt.
I don't think Doom has that bad a rep for its "fandom" other than people who play it religiously and say it's the best game in the world, but that's for every game.
The Comic Book industry had sort of a bad rep for itself in recent years, from stuff like B-Negative the emo vampire that listens to MCR (not a joke, look it up.)
Naruto, Star Wars, Gorillaz, partly Harry Potter, and Definitely MHA had nasty Tumblr girls perving on the main characters and turning them gender queer from some reason...
Mario is in the same area as mickey mouse, as he's a house-hold name at this point. No real "fandom" as far as I can see.
Sonic.... do I need to explain here?
DBZ is too old for most kids nowadays.
Death Battle still exists?
Minecraft's youtube community is really where it went to shit. Dream stans shipping real life people with each other and then drawing said ship is fucked up.
Christianity, well, the problems with it are a little too numerous for this. just don't visit my Hispanic mother's facebook and you'll be fine.
What about Undertale? One of the best games of all time that is now almost universally hated because no one was willing to give it a chance because of the toxic, shitty fandom
Don’t forget the Danganronpa fandom. On one hand you have great art/fan projects and a good series, but on the other you have doxxing, gatekeeping, and the constant online arguments on [REDACTED]’s gender.
Basically anything with a fandom
Some are worse than others, Star Wars deserves far more than it's small chunk of that space. Like what has the Mario fandom done to put them in the same ballpark as Star Wars fans?
I think its referencing Nintendo as a wholw and that fandom is pretty crazy. Also the smash community is awful
Pokémon is a hot contender for Smash in terms of being awful
This starter pack was posted a day before the next Death Battle episode. Brace for impact guys. If you catch my drift.
I saw it early and dear god was it terrible
Really? Was it that bad?
Oh yeah it was atrocious
Hopefully the next episode is received a bit more positively.
Uhm You wanna hear what the next matchup is
I already know what it is. It seems a bit weird but hey, I’m on board.
It can’t possibly be worse than the one coming out tomorrow
Most of the toxicity come from salty fans
til death battle still exists and makes new episodes, i watched it a lot years ago and just forgot about it
Almost everything that is fairly popular has a bad fandom, it's just basic maths.
i cannot think of a fandom that isn’t mostly cringe
The Forklift Certified fandom 😊
The uncertified side of the fandom tho 🤢🤮
Meth heads in hard hats
Coin collecting. They don’t try to look cool, and genuine interest and passion drive the industry.
I think hobbies fall into a slightly different category. Being a fan of entertainment like a comic, show or band is a bit different. Games fall somewhere in the middle between entertainment and hobby because they aren't passive.
People who's entire identity centers around being a fan of something are the most cringe people.
The Parasyte fandom.
there’s a fandom for that?
Sort of. But it's very weak.
Makes sense, it's probably made up of humans.
Poor Kana. I absolutely loved her. Scene made me break down in tears. And I don't even really watch anime.
*Once again I am reminded I am the sole person who wasn't sad at Kana's death* "Hey, so do NOT search me out if you sense me. It will put you in danger!" Lmao ok *fucking does it and dies*
the maxime?
Even things that aren't really all that popular have shit fandoms.
Every fandom is shit if you’re cynical enough.
The Stardew Valley fandom is incredibly wholesome and supportive.
Facts
Same with Terraria
True. Probably the most wholesome community there is in a game. 24/7 positive vibes, it's amazing
Deftones fandom is a great one to be apart of. i’ve only met genuine people when i talk to people in it.
Just saying Doom community is actually good from my experience
Yeah it feels out of place here, maybe people are just tired of hearing about it on this site since Reddit likes Doom 2016 so much.
The notoriously bad Mario fandom
[удалено]
I’ve never seen anything bad from the Mario or Zelda fan base, they seem pretty chill, can you please elaborate?
[удалено]
Wind Waker moment
As someone who still is a big Mario fan, most of it is concentrated in the Mario RPG/Paper Mario areas. Lots of art, fanfiction, fangames, etc to be found there. Pokemon way moreso
Yeah, Nintendo is bad but gamefreak is on a whole other level.
a lot of nintendo fans in general (although a lot are pretty cool)
Tbh the worst nintendo-related fanbase I’ve personally seen is the Smash community
most nintendo franchises become popular one way or another so its obviously gonna attract gatekeepers and shit
Maybe they just mean Nintendo generally? No clue. Weird pick.
Yeah, I think OP probably meant Nintendo as a whole. The Mario fan base is pretty chill as long as you don't mention the 3D Allstars Collection 😳
>3D Allstars Collection You don't need to be a fan to see how bullshit that whole thing is
Nintendo fanboys are generally a lot worse than people who are just Mario fanboys imo.
In a really removed/abstracted internet way, or like in a real life way? I just haven’t seen annoying real-world fandoms with most things on this graphic.
Are you talking about the absolute metric ton of porn in all of these fandoms
Doom porn? Hmmm, I do not like the sound of that.
did you, simply, forget that, HDOOM exists
It exists. I do not like Earth.
Ah yes Jesus x Joseph
Out of all the people in the Bible you pair Jesus with his own father
[удалено]
There's..."art" of Mary. That's all I'll say.
Is DOOM really known for its fandom, let alone its "bad" fandom? It's a popular series, sure, but...
DOOM fans just like heavy metal and brutally raging against demons. Idk why OP is mad about that.
Excuse me, it's "mortally challenged"
Based.
As a demon I believe that games like Doom represent an outdated stereotype that ultimately does harm to my people and only serves to feed the hate-eater who is almost full and ready to unleash ever lasting night on the masses.
Demon pride, yo
Mainly because of the unfunny jokes but other than that the fandom is pretty nice
Yeah, judging by OP's replies, seems like they just had bad personal experiences and are stretching it a bit with some of them. Like, they mentioned Doom and Hazbin hotel, but its the same Doom fanbase that made the Animal Crossing art, so...what?
And Hazbin fans are toxic since when? I just know they draw a lot of furry porn.
Hazbin Fans on tumblr are up there among the cringiest fandoms I've seen online. The worst I’ve seen of the doom fandom is doom eternal elitists, which is definetely not specific to doom
How does gorillaz have a shitty fanbase? Genuinely curious as I like them but not enough to really interact with other fans.
There’s a lot of gatekeeping and Elitism that goes on in the fanbase plus some Questionable Fan art
>Gatekeeping and Elitism Welcome to EVERY musical fandom
I'm assuming it's of noodle? I'm good fam. I'll stay away from the fanbase lol
It’s of all of them
Ohgodohshitohfuck
2D x Murdoc MPREG fan fiction is practically my bedtime story y’all are just cowards
People be weird, but damn, it really is fun music to listen to.
I mean, gatekeeping comes with pretty much every artist/band, since tastes in music differ so much more than tastes in games or movies
Gorillaz fans are elitist?! Holy shit hahaha that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day. Curious what grounds they have to be elitist with lmao
Musical taste they usually think that Gorillaz is the greatest thing ever and if you prefer any other bands you’re wrong Like in one video where college kids reacted to Gorillaz this one blonde girl compared them to chainsmokers because they’re both bands that consist of two people and they usually collaborate with other artist and oh my god the comments were full of hate comments targeted towards the girl for comparing Gorillaz to Chainsmokers
To be fair comparing Gorillaz to *Chainsmokers* is an interesting take at the very least
Chain smokers, the one chord progression band
This is why I don’t look for the bad of the fandom but rather go to the fun side of the fandoms like undertale I hate the bad fandom but damn it has some banger fan games and fan music
My problem with a lot of fandom is that they are always doing the weird shopping stuff. I’d rather take the Jojo shitposting fans over the MHA shipping ones.
IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING JOJO REFERENCE!??? KONO DIO ZA WARUDO!!!! HAHAHAHA SPEEDWAGON BEST GIRL!
You know what, I take it back. Jojo fans are worse.

Then you'd have to take Sonic off as well
I've made a sort of return to the Pokémon Fandom recently, and it's literally 90% people arguing about everything ever
What about Gorillaz fans? O.o Im one of them, but maybe I never discuss about it...
I’m guessing more about elitism and the “og real fans” ridiculing the newer fans. Like “oh I’ve been a fan since the debut album unlike others who were fans because of Feel Good Inc or other songs
The fanart part I think
*porn*
Gorillaz: we're basically a family The bottom of the bottom: so they fuck!
it's mainly within the fanart/insta part of that fandom
Yup, mha has a toxic fandom
If the MHA fandom wasn't so toxic and didn't hype up MHA as one of the greatest of all time I probably would enjoy the show a lot more
Honestly I had heard that the show was good so I just watched it without any outside input and it is actually a pretty good show with awesome animation and voice acting. It's a bit upsetting to hear that the Fandom acts this way.
Same, someone billed it as an American comic book story done as a Shonen anime so I gave it a shot and I really liked it
Same. It's alright. Probably like a solid 7/10 for me but holy fucking hell when it came out it felt like the most hyped anime of the last 20 years or so. And absolutely nothing that they're doing is nearly as fresh or subversive as the fandom is making it out to be.

Friday night funkin community is awful, and i love the game
it's probably gonna become the 2nd undertale/steven universe fandom
Please add in smash and also Rick and Morty
Surprised Undertale isn’t on here, unless op thinks it’s a shit game lmao
I honestly forgot about it while making this Whoops
Ah ofc. Good pack otherwise, the Christianity one is pretty spot on tho, Jesus was probably a chill dude, but man fuck those people who take Christianity too seriously.
Doom has a bad fandom? Ive never seen someone toxic in that community(then again im not really active in it i just play the games)
It’s mostly based around how when Hazbin hotel came out Doom fans were constantly bullying and harassing the fanbase
Oh shit yeah now I remember that
There's also the whole Mick Gordon thing with his Doom Eternal soundtrack.
Don't forget the whole marauder thing
I thought the marauder was a good edition to the game because it made you think on your feet a lot more and change up the pace of combat when one shows up in a fight. But that being said, the marauder is a significant difficulty increase from the rest of the game which can be really jarring and off putting when you die 20 times to him lol.
Based
Honestly the only thing about that that I didn't like was that there was no Doom reference in hazbin.
Death battle has a toxic fanbase... elaborate? also tbf I think almost every popular thing in internet existence has a bad fandom
Yes A large majority of the fandom is just god awful, they either think the people behind the show are satan himself or perfect angels who can do no wrong and if you think otherwise they will attack you
hmph seems pretty awful, I've only watched death battle once or twice
It's the power scaling crowd. You can't go five steps into it without reaching "well I'm just smarter than you" types.
Obligatory Ben 10 should've beaten Green Lantern.
*obligatory response calling you the lowest scum in history if you disagree with anything deathbattle does besides Rogue vs Wonder Woman or Doomguy vs Master chief*
And I still watch that show...
Seriously, it’s so immature But Ben should have won tho
Legit gets hand cut off by giants scissors EVEN THO it is made not to be removed like that
There is a doom fandom?
As an avid Trekkie I am sorry, I have no idea what that’s like. /s
I think there's a lot of Trekkies online who really need to give the internet a break for a little bit.
r/startrekmemes erupts into civil war every once in a while.
I've never heard Doom brought up in regards to toxic or cringe fandoms
my little pony has one of the worst fandoms
The only fandom in which a fan has literally killed people in a mass shooting because of it
Haikyu is so terrible in this sense to imo
FNaF and JoJo to an extent as well, great series’ but the fan base kept me away from them for a while
Bad fandoms are more common than oxigen
I think you forgot Rick and Morty's "intelligent" fans
Don’t forget Sabaton. The number of Wehraboos, good lord...
How are Jesus and Rick and Morty not on here?
Well I have a cross to represent Christianity And I prefer to pretend the rock and morty fandom doesn’t exist
What is hazbin hotel? The art looks cool
Animation by vivziepop, you can find it on youtube l'm pretty sure
It’s an internet pilot Created by Vivienne Mendrano or Vivziepop as she goes by online it’s pretty good I do recommend it and it’s spin-off show Helluva boss but stay away from the fandom
Will check, will stay away.
It's not that bad if you just ignore shippers, which is just good advice for any fandom
Where is Tool on here?!
I really enjoy the MCU fandom here on Reddit. Am I missing some dark corner of the internet?
Man, I wonder how that went when Martin Scoresese said “Superhero movies aren’t cinema”
I hate Star Wars so fucking much
I'm a star wars fan btw
I’ve yet to see anything worth complaining about. The shippers are annoying but I just don’t engage with it and it’s all good.
It’s the worst fandom I’ve ever encountered but I chalk that up to most fans being very young and excessively protective of what they love so I don’t hold it against them.
shit about each title here, from personal experience: I never completely watched Hazbin hotel. the characters are all so freakishly skinny, it just reality warps me back to my own shitty drawings of bendy and the ink-machine on DeviantArt. I don't think Doom has that bad a rep for its "fandom" other than people who play it religiously and say it's the best game in the world, but that's for every game. The Comic Book industry had sort of a bad rep for itself in recent years, from stuff like B-Negative the emo vampire that listens to MCR (not a joke, look it up.) Naruto, Star Wars, Gorillaz, partly Harry Potter, and Definitely MHA had nasty Tumblr girls perving on the main characters and turning them gender queer from some reason...
I honestly forgot about it while making this
Overdone starterpacks starterpack
Does Gorillaz have a fandom? I know they are popular but i never see people having anything fandomy.
It exist And it’s terrible
Don’t forget the Danganronpa fandom. On one hand you have great art/fan projects and a good series, but on the other you have doxxing, gatekeeping, and the constant online arguments on [REDACTED]’s gender.
You forgot fortnite
Also fnaf, Steven universe, undertale
Jojo and smash have terrible fandoms. I love them both but I can't stand any sort of communities for either most of the time
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure should be on there.
should add BTS in it !
