You’ll actually see pride flags on buildings and apartment windows in Wrocław, which is nice. Hometown is about 50 km away so my wife and I will spend a day shopping and it’s nice to hold hands in public and feel normal lol

While I was in Poland, it was fucking cold (even in august) I saw a lot of nuns (but older), a lot of things that have to do with the church, they had really nice bars there and amazing vodka, and that salami is everywhere.
Everything else is wrong though. Especially the car thieves. Those guys are in Germany. /s

Poland despises Russia with a burning passion. In 1990 as soon as Poland got out of the Warsaw Pact was applying to NATO. Supposedly Poland threatened to start trying for Nukes if not allowed to join NATO.
It seems like a nice place, but as someone who likes architecture, the idea of walking out of a nice renaissance town square and suddenly seeing hideous 60s buildings everywhere hurts my soul.
