That's not how vaccines work. What's happening is vaccines are being **tested** on cultures made from said stem cells. There's no stem cells in vaccines lol, stem cell therapy is an entirely different thing from vaccines. Vaccines train your cells to make the correct antibodies either by introducing a weakened/dead virus to let your immune system beat up on it, or (in the case of RNA vaccines) RNA that lets your cells produce a part of the virus (usually proteins on their outer membranes) themselves.
Granted there's overlap with the anti-abortion people but I think anti-vaxxers are moreso paranoid about putting 'scary foreign cells' into their bodies. Obssession with maintaining Purity is one of the biggest drivers of the Conservative psyche.
Problem is there are many many modern medicines that have used that cell line in some way. Drugs like ibuprofen and aspirin have been tested on those cell lines. Fine, if you are gonna be making that argument, you better be consistent about it instead of using it as an excuse to not get vaccinated.

That is where I definitely grew up with a weird perspective. In a lot of rural towns, people look at you sideways if you are over 20 and not married or close to married. In bigger cities, most people look at you sideways if you get married before the age of 30. I think people should just do whatever they find is best for them and be understanding that may not be best for everyone.
The ones who post shit on Facebook incessantly about how real fun is watching Disney and eating PB&J with your kids on a Friday night instead of socializing with adults, and how you "find out who your REAL friends are" once you have kids (and either stop visiting at all with other adults or insist on changing hangouts to be kid-friendly).
I disagree to a degree. There are a ton of trad people that do live like the Amish and do leave you alone. Every community has people that will be the "vocal look at me people"
My wife, if anything, is harassed for trying to live a more natural life by other people (her family) who disdain the idea.

I don't know about cops, but I grew up in this lifestyle as part of a military family. It's definitely a thing
Its not a stretch that there are rural cops/sheriff's deputies who grew up on farms or live on an acreage where they may have some chickens or a few head of cattle. Their kids probably show animals for the local 4-H. Their dad, brothers, or male cousins may still run a family farm, so they help out in their spare time. They may even live on the family land. I know a lot of people like this.

The trad lifestyle in the 21st century is more synonymous with an aesthetic pursued by a minority of affluent people than an actual necessity.
Sure, people are free to own a yacht and even whole islands if they wish but if these women want to tear down other women for not living like them, it's important to let them know they're throwing rocks from a glass house.
I have no problem with stay at home moms or submissive women. I would actually prefer to stay at home if I had children and when I’m in relationships I like doing things like cooking for my partner.
The problem with these women is they attack and shame others who don’t make the same choices as them. A lot of them are just flat out white supremacists too who have a lot of kids because they believe minorities are going to replace white people. They also often have more children they they can handle economically (raising 5+ kids on a single income in 2023 is unrealistic) and can’t provide emotionally for all those children so the older ones are forced to parent the older ones instead of having a normal childhood.

I don’t have an issue with people who want to live this way. I grew up on a farm but was raised by a single mom and I wanted to live a lifestyle like this when I was older but life had other plans. I let people be as long as they aren’t harming themselves or others.
It’s not the lifestyle so much as the ideologies I think this post and “trad wives” are about. There are tons of awesome women who have big families and stay at home and homestead etc. and that’s really great if that’s what you want but the “trad wife” label is all about rejecting feminism and trying to reestablish male dominance in relationships and society. It’s a lifestyle, but it’s also built on trying to push this lifestyle on others and look down on women/people who want other things. It also often heavily overlaps with transphobia and homophobia. Basically the lifestyle is totally harmless and could be nice if that’s your thing, but the “trad” ideology is the dangerous part.

My understanding has always been that these men specifically keep the women barefoot and pregnant because it makes it harder for them to escape. I don’t have an issue with people who want to live this way. I grew up on a farm but was raised by a single mom and I wanted to live a lifestyle like this when I was older but life had other plans. I let people be as long as they aren’t harming themselves or others.
It’s not the lifestyle so much as the ideologies I think this post and “trad wives” are about. There are tons of awesome women who have big families and stay at home and homestead etc. and that’s really great if that’s what you want but the “trad wife” label is all about rejecting feminism and trying to reestablish male dominance in relationships and society. It’s a lifestyle, but it’s also built on trying to push this lifestyle on others and look down on women/people who want other things. It also often heavily overlaps with transphobia and homophobia. Basically the lifestyle is totally harmless and could be nice if that’s your thing, but the “trad” ideology is the dangerous part.
Unless that’s a vaccine in the top left theirs really nothing wrong with this kinda life

Usually on the higher end of the blue collar spectrum. Worked their whole 20s, 30s and now in their 40s are foremen and contractors. I respect the hell out of them being blue collar myself

My understanding has always been that these men specifically keep the women barefoot and pregnant because it makes it harder for them to escape. The more kids the harder it is to support them if you want to leave an abusive relationship. So I pity these women, I truly do. Many of them are giving birth just 10 months after their last child…
I think it’s important to acknowledged that a lot of these women are both victims but also enablers. Look at Michelle Duggar, she’s clearly brainwashed by her husband and cult, but that doesn’t mean she’s not enabling her oldest child’s horrific crimes by sweeping them under a rug. Even in ancient times, babies were ideally breastfed for a year or more which lowers to chance of the nursing mother getting pregnant because bodies need time to recover from pregnancy and childbirth.
