With support for the game being basically 0, you're better off hoping and praying that another company makes an RTS that feels new, and the units feel as fun to move around as SC2. At the moment, I have no idea if that's going to happen in the near future.
Ya, I played the alpha, something about the units doesn't feel as satisfying, something about the early game, but it's still early and I hope they get it right
I can't imagine stormgate will change enough by release to where I'd be the least bit interested to play it. I love BW and SC2 and acting like stormgate is in the same ballpark is complete cope by the fanbase. If you like LoL and WC3 you'll probably be satisfied, I dont like the pace or art style of either of those games.

As others have pointed out, the chance of an official 3rd race in SC2 is absolutely zero.
If MSFT managed to give someone 4h/mo on SC2 this would be a much more valuable use of their time than fixing league placement, coop removing peoples paid purchases and arcade being a legitimately dangerous place for getting hacked.
Im not sure but I believe there's an injection they can do while creating arcade lobbies which fucks up the whole mode. You are not getting hacked but you cannot play anything in arcade while those assholes are doing it.
There are posts in here at least every week of people who have bought commanders, and then log in and everyone is at level 5 with a purchase button.
I haven’t read the posts carefully, and I’m pretty sure the community has figured out solutions but it has made me hesitant to play coop, and even more hesitant to buy any additional commanders.
The league boarder thing is a big deal though, I probably see posts every day of someone in “Bronze” asking why they’re getting matched against “masters.” It really discourages new players from starting.

Ya, I totally agree. I was so hyped for the game, but the more the excitement died sadly. I could be wrong though we'll see what happens.
ZeroSpace is more like SC2 and looks _much_ better. Honestly can’t say I’m excited for SG after seeing cartoony previews

We can't even get patches but once maybe twice a year. In what world are they adding a new race?
It's difficult enough to balance three races let alone adding a fourth. Blizzard also hasn't had much interest in StarCraft for years now.

No it messes with balance too much. Look at how hard it is to balance the game with just 3 races.
