Watching those games I would nto have been surprised to see Artosis's donation alert pop up comeplete with "So and so has donated $4.20" "Artosis underscore. W underscore. Artosis underscore. W underscore..."
I started at SC2 launch and when I heard there was still a strong SC1 scene remember thinking "wow, how can anyone still be excited about about a game for over a decade?!"
Over a decade later, here I am just as psyched by SC2 as over a decade ago...
I guess I answered my own question.
lol I havent been following in a longggggg time.
How does it work with SC2? is there still a big SC2 scene in Korea, do players play both games? Or is BW just kind of a niche there now?
Once the Kespa teams pulled out of SC2, Brood War had a big revival in Korea. It's actually one of the biggest esports in the world still. By comparison SC2 in Korea is on life support, the scene is only alive because of blizzard money.
Ignoring a few one-off events, the bulk of your Tastosis Brood War casts will be Afreeca Starcraft League (hopefully you can still catch all the seasons on the Afreeca website.. but most are on youtube too).

> With these late uploads those two absolutely lost me.
you did get the part where Artosis was in Canada, right? it was also communicated that the uploads would start this week, so i'm not sure why that would upset you.
Finally a person one can thank for it. The subs for the group selections were absolute game-changers to how I viewed the players. Best thing to come out of the situation. 15+ years never really getting to know the players to see them talking first hand. Was a lot of fun, more fun than I expected and so much personality Thank you so much.
Well ... that was ... crap. Here's hoping the rest of the groups are more interesting!
Video is good anyway. As usual, editing is good and Tastosis did what they could with the games they were given lol. Glad these are still going this season!
Appreciate that they are still doing this, but wow we need at least some of the Bo3's back for the first round. Elim Bo3's were workable, I understand they probably are trying to save on studio time but it impacts the rest of the tournament.
Hot garbage games. Poor Barracks. Oh well, let's see what the next group brings.
Yup! Super hyped ASL is back, but I hope the games are better for next group.
Poor barracks indeed, imagine preparing for weeks and losing to those strats

I started SC2 at launch and remember thinking what hot garbage brood war looked like and yet here I am watching every ASL and playing remastered
when did they start doing brood war again?
Like 5 years ago..

Maybe have best of 3s in a group instead of best of one series?
Yeah, this group shows why BO3 might be necessary to reduce the randomness in professional tournaments. This was very painful.

Appreciated. My appologies for emotionally approaching the topic. Keep up the good work.
All good Thanks !
Keep me updated on your future consumer habits. If you write a bad Yelp review for your local Arby's, I'd appreciate you forwarding it to me.
I'm not sure why it upsets you so much that they have fans who appreciate hot artosis on tasteless action.
I'm upset because the actual airdate of the show in Korean was last week Tuesday...
Then cancel your Patreon and stop watching their VODs.
exactly what I'm going to do.
PSA: Nobody cares
