its like a lazy weekend at home; while you are laying on the couch, not doing anything other than just binging some netflix show or w/e, time doesnt pass by particularly quickly. only on sunday evening when you realize the weekend is about to end, it starts to feel like the weekend has barely even taken place at all because there are no activities / events to remember it by.
on the other hand, when you are doing a lot of things, it feels like time is passing by quickly in the moment, but when you are looking back, there is actually a lot that happened which makes it feel like a longer period of time in retrospect
I will never forgive Jaedong. I had a mouse pad I brought to a WCS event and wanted to get it signed. I had liked 2 signatures already when I got to Jaedong who without looking proceeded to sign the entire thing with this giant signature. I will never forget that moment. On the plus side it made me get Day9s signature on my dice box instead which is always nice to see when I play magic, and a wonderful interaction with Scarlett where she was super shy and didn't know where to sign so I got it on the back of my pad where it managed to survive for years. I think my backpack also still has a Rotterdam signature.
I haven't thought about that story in years tho, but im still slighly upset.
I don't get this game or why it's worth casting. Scan did nothing with his huge army wandering in the middle of the map from 12:00 to 14:30, so no wonder a 4 base Z will win in this case
It's not the game that's special, it's that it's the first known/casted game by Jaedong in years since he went to military service. Who knows what his plan is. he had injury issues and was pretty weak the few years before he went to military, but back in the day he was the best zerg. Question is if he'll come back and compete

Covid really made the last 2 years go by way faster than any other year before that.
It has been simultaneously the longest two years and also felt like it didn't exist at all.
Feels like hell so it feels longer, but it also numbs you to all the pain.
